  1. Yes, but Gool, one of the baddies from that theme, has back printing along with a cape. Knowing the level of detail LEGO has recently been putting into their figs, and knowing the fact that LEGO seems to be putting extra work into these figs, we should most likely be seeing back printing on all of the figs.
  2. I just recently bought the Endor battle pack, and I found it odd that my two Rebel Commandos have tan hands, like the new Bariss Offee. Has this occurred often, or am I just lucky?
  3. I'm pretty sure that the other Rohirrim on the horse in the toy fair pic has a quiver, and Eomer never used a bow, so I'm assuming that is the generic soldier, and Eomer is on the wall.
  4. LEGO incorrectly gave Eomer a dark green cape, so that might be what you are seeing. I wonder if Eomer and Theoden will have double sided heads, and if the Rohan soldier will have a special new generic bearded face.
  5. I doubt a new armor piece will be made, because if they were to do it, we probably would've seen it on the Uruk. Also, I would love to see more variation in the Rohan helmets, but I just have this feeling that hat won't be the case. But, if we only get one Rohan helmet design, I would much rather it be based on Theoden's helmet, because I love his helmet design, and I just think he has the most beautiful armor of all the characters.
  6. Well, I guess the current swords are more accurate. On another note, I was looking closely ( as closely as I could ) at the Theoden fig, and does anyone else think he is wearing a LEGO armour piece over his torso? I hope so, and in the case that he is, I hope that his torso underneath the armour is the red shirt with gold trim, and green sleeves.
  7. I'm glad Legolas isn't in Helm's Deep. If he was the rather than Gimli, then you wouldn't be able to recreate the scene with Gimli and Aaragorn and the "dwarf tossing", unless you buy Balin's Tomb, which has Legolas anyway. Also, I was looking at the picture of the series 7 CMFs, and I noticed that the black knight guy in that series has a dark pearl silver highlander sword. I feel as if that sword in that color would be much more fitting for the Nazgul, rather than the lighter version. I hope that the Nazgul swords end up in that colour to fit in with the rest of the baddies armour and weapons.
  8. I think the NY toy fair starts on the twelfth of February, but I may be wrong. If toy fairs usually happen over weekends, it could be much sooner.
  9. That is a dark tan bush and some rocks behind the Nazgul.
  10. I actually have a feeling that Frodo's hair is black. If you look at the most recent close up of Frodo, you can see that his legs are dark brown, but his hair just seems a little darker, so I'm thinking it will be black.
  11. I would love an Amon Hen set, but I doubt that LEGO would split it up into two sets. I could see a set the same size as Weathertop or Balon's Tomb, with the Seeing Seat tower, Aragorn, Boromir, Lurtz, Merry and Pippin, and two Uruk scouts, and maybe a tree or two. It would be perfect.
  12. That would be a really cool feature! I hope that the wheel doesn't move her legs. I would much rather be able to position her legs however I want. Also, the horse in the Gandalf Arrives set is not a special pony mold. It is the same as the rest of the sets. It would make no sense to have a pony in that set, because A) Gandalf's cart was drawn by a horse, and B) it would cost too much money for LEGO to make a special pony mold for one set, unless it was completely essential and was useable across the whole theme. EDIT: I also just noticed that the Nazgul horses are not wearing helmet, but rather have a dark grey print on their faces. The new heads on the horses will probably not be able to wear any old horse helmets.
  13. Hey, where's the Orc Forge?
  14. I really hope that the Rohan flag means there is more interior to Helm's Deep! These sets look amazing!!!!! It appears that all the Rohirrim have the same helmet mold based on Theoden's helmet, which is fine. I also noticed that Theoden has the same sword as Boromir and Aragorn, which is saddening, since he should have a special sword and the sword he has looks nothing like Herugrim. Also, yes, the Frodo in the Gandalf Arrives set is different. He has a green shirt and no vest, which is accurate to the scene. And I also have a very strong feeling that the new horses are just that, NEW horses. They won't just be an altered version of the old mold, but rather a completely new one that fits in better with the more recent animals. I am so excited!!!!!
  15. I actually used to collect Games Workshop LOTR figurines. I still have all my collection, and it looks really cool, but the reason I collected it was because of that lack of LEGO LOTR. The Galadrihm elves would make great figs, but unless they make another expansion or a battle pack for Helm's Deep, we probably wont get those guys. I would love them, though. They would most likely have new helmets, and then nice new prints and dark blue capes. They would be great. Anyway, this is slowly becoming a wish list, and it does not belong here.
  16. I would LOVE to see Second Age elves! They are my favorite elf design of all the trilogy! Those helmets would be amazing in LEGO, and we desperately need curved elven blades! Yet, I fear that that shield could be done by just taking the classic LEGO long shield and printing it accordingly. Let's hope that doesn't happen! Also, the more I look at the Mordor orc, the more I think he is the best baddie of them all, along with the Uruk. If you look at the first picture of the orc on this page http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Orcs you will see how well LEGO has designed the basic orc. Sure, the fig has a bit more hair, but that is just LEGO being cost effective.
  17. I really doubt LEGO will do a new quiver that can hold a bow. I think they just showed that so they could accurately do the poster. If it were true, I would think we would have seen it on Legolas and maybe Aragorn. Also, does anyone else think that we should be seeing another promo pic with Theoden, Eomer, Haldir and the Rohirrim? I really want to see them! Roha is my favourite culture from Middle-Earth, and I really hope they do it justice, which by the looks of the other figs, shouldn't be an issue.
  18. I'm not complaining at all about the Nazgul. They look fine. That is pretty much how I have always made my own: black hood, black cape and some black Sith torso or something. Now, with the official fig, we get a new print and a new cape. It looks enough like a Nazgul without LEGO having to make a million new molds. And, if LEGO had added all sorts of new molds and more print it would have really boosted up the price of the sets the appear in.
  19. I really hope they do a special helmet for Theoden. If they make a single helmet mold for all Rohan characters, I will be upset. Also, you misspelled both Theoden and Haldir.
  20. Ya, I guess I can't complain too much, it is a hell of a lot better than the recent Aragog from HP.
  21. I must say, no pictures is dissapointing, but what is worse is Shelob. In the pic of the statue Frodo and Sam there is a little bit of Shelob visible, and I'm a bit disappointed with it. Shelob is not red and black, she is black. Also, the head looks wrong. Maybe it is just this pic, but something just doesn't look right to me.
  22. I don't think so, except maybe Star Wars. The reason is that most other themes have had a single central character in every set, whereas in LOTR has the Fellowship as its central character, allowing for more variety amongst figs.
  23. Are pictures allowed at the Germany toy fair?
  24. I was just thinking about the prelim pics we got a few months back, and I remember seeing an Uruk with no helmet or armour in the Uruk-hai Army set and on the box of Helm's Deep. I'm just wondering if this will be that Mordor Orc with hair that we have seen. A normal Orc at Helm's Deep would make no sense movie wise, but book wise, it is accurate. Does anyone think we will see that Orc hair mold with dark red ears for an unarmored Uruk?
  25. If anything, it is most accurate to have them dark red. The Uruks are more reddish in color than anything else. Also, as someone else mentioned about Pippin's face looking creepy, it looks the most accurate of all of them. They have captured the foolish Took side of him very well.
