  1. Hello again, and thank you everyone for the nice comments and interest in these alternate models. I wish I could, however I needed three fins. Due to parts limitations, one had to be red. Thus I included a bit more red to produce a harmonic colour scheme of blue with a little red. A single red piece would have looked odd, I guess. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  2. Hello! That's an impressive starship design! It's full of interesting techniques wich are very inspiring. A unique and exclusive look for a transport vessel. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! An excellent version of this particular vehicle. It gets the right feeling of the movies. I especially like the features, with the light violt cup as favourite detail. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  4. Hello! It's clearly an owl, and it looks pretty! The colours have the correct scheme, and also the interior is nice layed-out. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  5. Hello! It's a great respresentation and instatntly recognizable from many movies adn documentations. The camel also contributes to the harmonic look of the scene. All in all well done. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  6. Hello! A great design! The functionalities are excellent. It was a great effort assembling it with the software I guess. I think it could have been MLCAD. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  7. Hello everybody! For the last weeks, I've been playing around with Creator sets and tried to find suitable alternative models for these sets with limited parts variety. A great challenge for inspiration and creativity. The alternate model presented below is the last one for the time being. It's a Bongo Sub built with pieces from Creator set 6747 - "Race Rider" - available in the stores for 19.99 EUR / 15.99 GBP / 19.99 USD. Normally the Bongo Sub should be more grey and blue, but I had to go for blue with a bit of red here. It features all three cockpit bubbles. The most difficult part was to realize the long fins at the back. I finally used the inverted curved slopes. There were only two blue, but fortunately an additional red one, so I had the three needed fins. It's not perfectly accurate, but I hope you'll reconize it. Click here for building instructions With that I am done for now. I hope you enjoyed the small series. Thanks for your interest and stepping by! Yours Christopher. 8. Hello! I've missed those ships! Like for your earlier designs, I like the colour scheme. Medium blue is always lovely to see in my eyes. And you've used one of my favourite transparent colours - trans purple - which matches excellently with the blue colours. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  9. Hello! A good attempt at the F-302. I'd like to suggest something to improve the characteristic shape. Instead of using the 1x2 plate with two clips, use only one 1x1 plate with one clip. This allows you to pull the outer edges of the wings a bit forwards. Because the wings a not straight, but slightly angled. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  10. Hello! How about showing us what you have done yet, and maybe we can help you finding out what is "missing". It's a lot more easy this way round, because many people see more possibilities to improve something than only one person. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  11. Hello! Nice compact little craft. They technique with the clip plates to give a rounded front is very inspiring. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  12. Hello, and thank your for your interest. I am aware of the fact that these are not the most spot-on models ever created. But regarding the parts limitation they are quite adequate. And they bring some additional life to this sub forum. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  13. Hello! It's great to see Western is alive, and this nice growing town here. The letters are particularly great and give it right western town feel. I also like the rounded veranda on the first floor. The use of log bricks in SNOT way also suits the house very well. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  14. Hello! A good combination of glass elements which result in a great glassy roof. Especially the use of the big dome gives this particular piece an adequate use. Cheers, ~Christopher
  15. Hello! A great accumulation fo greebly techniques and random design. What is it supposed to be? It looks like some kind of artificial intelligence that came to conscience by agglomeration of various materials. Like we've seen in Stargate or Star Trek episodes for example. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  16. Hello! It's pretty dangerous looking, and I guess that is what it was intended to. The use of the large windscreens for shoulders and shield is a good use for these big pieces here. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  17. Good morning everybody, having played around with the smaller green Creator car "Street Speeder" set earlier this month, it was now time for the bigger red Creator car set "Super Speedster" (19.99 EUR / 17.99 / 19.99). While the little green set gave a nice small jet, it was possible to shape a bigger red transport plane out of this set. So if you're not tired about Creator alternatives yet, here are some images. For instructions please click here. That's it for now. Thank you for stepping by! See you around! ~ Christopher -------------------- Alternate Building Series Quick Links: --------------------
  18. Hello! The unusual use of parts for creating this little creature is outstanding! It's Bionicle and Technic pieces in perfect alternate use. This is very inspiring. Thanks for sharing! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  19. Hello! This underwater base is very impressive! It's great to see seomthing of its dimensions for the Aquanaut's theme! The layout of the complex is quite realistic with its central plexus and the smaller modules surrounding it. Furthermore all the support vehicles are niee to see. Especially that underwater walker with the propellors as feet. Well done! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  20. Hello! That's a fantastic front of a roman galley! The eyes construction is excellent, as mentioned already, and using the golden modifued brick piece as ram bow is the perfect piece. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  21. Hello! A good idea to transform the fuel tank into a water tank truck. I see the rear of the truck has a towball socket to attach a trailer. Maybe a small additonal water tank for hot summer day? Cheers, ~ Christopher
  22. Hello! Thank you for the comments! I am glad there are people like you who appreciate and share the fun with creator sets. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  23. Hello! Thanks again for the nice comments. It's great to see that many of you are familiar with the Expanded Universe starships as well. More models to come soon! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  24. Hello! That's a very smooth-looking car! It provides many clever design techniques which are always good for inspiration. My favourite detail are the fire nozzles with the clip tiles. Those fire nozzles can be quite useful pieces and it's good to have some of them. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  25. Hello! A lovely scene. It's full of life, details and humour. These inverted oriental arches are versatile pieces as you have proven in your nice building. Cheers, ~ Christopher
