  1. Hello! An outstanding micro diorama! MOst impressive in my opinion is the great technique to indicate the micro steps in the wall using the 1x2 and 1x1 corner panels. It works fantastic and is for sure a trick to remember! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  2. Hello! I quite like the idea and concept It's a cute looking little building! I remember having seen something very similar in an old "Lucky Luke" comic where there was a very narrow chinese restaurant between two buildings. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  3. Hello everyone! I'd like to thank all of you for the kind comments! It makes me glad that you all like some new models from other smaller and slower growing themes as well. Thank you, and hope to see you around soon! ~ Christopher
  4. Hello! This is a clever design. I especially like the typical helicopter-style cockpit which is made of two windscreen pieces. It is similar to the official helicopter windscreen, but with the big advantage that it's closed to the sides! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  5. Hello! This is a very lovely little scene! I like the abrupt blening from the typical Death Star corridor to the living quarter style. The small window with curtains and stars outside is especialy nice. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  6. Hello! Cretaing a completely transforming machine is really difficult. Especially at small scale. This is a very nice design. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  7. Hello! Another nice plane. Using the large space wheel for the motor block is an original idea. I am not so sure about the landing gear. Simply fixed non-moving round plates for the wheels? You've shown so much building talent for your planes recently that I am totally sure you could improve that. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  8. Hello! An interesting design. I think it could need a bit more trans neon green as it is really much black everywhere. Escpecially the guns around the head would be more spot-on if attaching some transparent cones. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  9. Hello! As mentioned already, you've nicely used Bionicle pieces all over your platform. It's always great to see these pieces outside their original intention. There's also much TECHNIC® assemblies in the leg construction, which was quite tricky I assume when looking at it. All in all a dangerous and capable platform. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  10. Hello! Huge hangars are always fascinating to me and this one is no exception. You created a great scene with many spot-on details on a relatively compact base. That's very efficient. And as I have am fond of the original sets, I like the scene even better with the old Naboo-N1. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  11. Hello! A fantastic representation of the Bantha! Those 1x2 log bricks work perfectly to indicate the long fur of the creature. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  12. Hello Walter! This looks pretty impressive so far. You've spent a lot of effort for the small details making this a fantastic starship. I am looking forward to your final improvemnets of the rear section. One question remains. Does "adding some of your own interpretations" include the additional fourth engine in the lower engine block? Unlike the Nebulon-B frigate, the B2 frigate only has six engines instead of seven. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  13. Hello everybody! Today it's time for a little Star Trek update, and it's a Klingon ship this time! The Klingon Vor'Cha Attack Cruiser (reference image) was the first new Klingon ship design after the alliance of the Klingon Empire with the Federation. As a result of technology exchange of the allies, the Vor'Cha cruiser feature warp engines similar to those of Federation fleet vessels. The Vor'Cha was by the way the first new Klingon vessel design outside "The Original Series" (TOS). Most times it appears in dark green in the episodes, sometimes it seems to be dark gray. Due to colour limitations for the crucial part, I built it in dark gray. The main piece of recognition is a clicky hinge piece which gives the cruiser its very characteristic and unqiue bridge section. The piece always reminded me to the Vor'Cha cruiser, so I am glad to finally present it to you. >> All images and building instructions here << -------------------- Previously designed Klingon ship quick reference: -------------------- To see the introductionary topic for the small collection of Star Trek Mini Models, you may click here. -------------------- That's all for today. Thanks for stepping by and your interest. Cheers, ~ Christopher

Hello! I like the version with the more tentacles much better. It reminds me loosely to the old science fiction movie "Star Crystal" where an alien lifeform raises out of a crystal the crew had taken aboard. And tentacles is most you see from the alien in that movie. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  15. Hello! An interesting fighter design, being a result of different real-life planes. It is very typical for the early era of jet engines where they often were centered and the pilot sat on his own engine so to speak. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  16. Hello! District 9 was really a cinema highlight of last year, and it's fantastic to see a scene out of it here. Your diroama really catches the movie feeling very closely, and I appreciate your efforts to create the junkyard-like environment. It's not easy to create soemthing that is very randomized. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  17. Hello! A great gathering of scary looking characters. You've chosen them well to result in a scary-looking place. The uncomfortable green shade (instead of the grassy green) even contributes to the scene. The car with the skeleton looks like it has not driven for a long time. Maybe a spiderweb in the corner of the garage door would make this even more authentic. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  18. Hello! I am not a trains expert, but I think it's an original idea bringing the truck on track. It's what everyone talks about regarding nature issues, bringing more transports from road to train tracks. The locomotive represents a good hybrid between a normal road truck and a diesel engine, having characteristics of both of them. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  19. Hello! A great piece of microsacle architecture! My favourite detail is the entrance using the new grilled slopes. They make excellent stairs. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  20. Hello! A fantastic layout from a more rarely displayed era. You added many unique details making this a pleasure to look at. I am most impressed by the statues standing behind Cleopatra's throne, they're just perfect. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  21. Hello! A very well thought out concept. Everybody needs cleaned clothes. It's great to see uncexpected characters to be included in teh scene like Yoda and the obviously multi-talented R2D2. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  22. Hello! A funny idea with the super hair dryer. It reminds me a bit to the gargantuan hair dryer in Spaceballs. A Princess Leia vignette would have also worked-out great when it comes to hair styling. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  23. Hello! A great addition for the Harry Potter universe. Incorporating those little minifigures from the LGEO® Games is a good idea. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  24. Hello! You compiled your own minifigure series! That's great! I hope you'll carry on with your work as there are even more characters whishing to be portrayed. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  25. Hello! Nice little flora vignette. Those boat studs are indeed the perfect mushroom piece. I guess they are loosely laid on a 1x1 cone, or did you find a stable way to fix them? Cheers, ~ Christopher
