  1. Hello! Great representation of a well-known scene. The use of the speech balloons is a particularly nice concept. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  2. Hello! I like the ironic effect that two enemies that are different in any way are gathered by something unavoidable human. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  3. Hello! That's a great picture story you're telling here. It starts like serious story but with an unexpected humorous payoff. Great! ~ Christopehr
  4. Hello! A very original concept and realisation. The big MonCal looks very inviting, and the wall with the different stormtrooper helmets is a great decoration. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  5. Hello! It seems this topic isstill going on. Thank you for the kind comments everyone! I hope to come up with some more space miniaturizations soon, besides the recent 6929 Starfleet Voyager. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  6. Hello everybody! Today it's my special pleasure to share a classic space legend with you. It's the Classic Space 6929 Starfleet Voyager (reference link) from the year 1981. I am pretty excited about this one, and I hope you will like it too. Although miniaturized, the small version has 134 pieces compared to 241 pieces of the system-scaled version from 1981. This means that the mini model is very compact. A lot of small plates, tiles and slopes were necessary to include as many details as possible. It has all the engines, landing studs, dishes and lights. Two of the most difficult details to realize were the transparent blue cockpit bottom (snot) and the cargo compartment in the back. Both could be built, however. You can even remove a container from the cargo compartment, just like for the original version. >> All images and building instructions available here << With that I am done for now. Feel free to have a look at the entire image gallery and to download the instructions. Thank you for stepping by, and have a great week! Yours Christopher.
  7. Hello everybody! It will be a pleasure meeting you all in person in June 2011. I still regret not having been able to join this year. With the more regular working times I have in my new job, I can plan the trip right now, and hope we'll have a great time! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  8. Hello! A beautiful small corner store! It seems to sell everything you need. It's a very compact layout making it authentic for these small stores. The colours are a little difficult to tell apart from each other. Maybe you want to take pictures at daylight or in front of some lighter background. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  9. Hello! A very funny scene indeed. But there are also many remarkable things to discover. I like for example the striped towels. Embedding them in the socket is a great way to let them appear flat. Furthermore the use of dark tan is an efficient way to induce wet sand compared to normal tan for dry sand. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  10. Hello! A totally amazing setup! It's one of the highest concentrations of alien minifigures I've ever seen, all crowding around the hotel. My favourite figure is the purple octopuss-like creature on the street. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  11. Hello! A really unusual concept but it works out fine here! You surrounded the cockpit excellently with the engine fuselage. The use of many wedge shaped elemements give it a smooth curved look. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  12. Hello! A great idea and a fantastic build! The decorations for the king's clothes are outstanding, and it looks just like a real card. The use of flexible tubes to create the letters and the facial expression of the king are especially remarkable. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  13. Hello, and thank you for the nice preview images of next year's sets. They look very versatile with a good parts variety and many building possibilities. Will be great building next year. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  14. Hello!

I just wanted to let you know that I really like that miniaturization of the 928 Galaxy Explorer. It's really great! :-)

    Cheers,

    ~ Christopher

  15. Hello! The facial expression of the AT-ST driver and his little toy is priceless. The entire scene, especially the fireplace is also well-designed. Cheers, ~ Christopher

  17. Thank you very much! IT took quite some time and I am happy it's of some use. You might be interested in this topic. To make it short, it is possible to change your name. But not until you reached a certain status which you unfortunately haven't reached yet. Just stay here, participate in the great discussions here and you will be able to change it sooner than you realize. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  18. Thank you both of you! :-) It's really nice to have some conversation here. See you all around!

  19. Hello dear community, today I'd like to share a miniaturized version of a Classic Space set to you. It's Space Cruiser 924 of the classic blue/grey/trans-yellow series. We all know the famous 918 Space Transport and the gargantuan 928 Galaxy Explorer. Bewteen them is the lesser known medium sized 924 Space Cruiser which I'd like to show here. Some of you might already have seen it in BrickJournal, but I am glad to present it to all of you now. Click here for images and instructions. That's all for now. Thank you for your time and interest, and see you soon. See you soon, Christopher
  20. Hello! It's a great idea to do the containers studs-down to get the curves on the bottom edges. A very realistic representation. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  21. Hello! A nice and lively scene! Maybe there's still place for R2-D2 serving some cool drinks? A sunshade would also perfect the scene. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  22. Hello! A smooth design. I like the twin-cockpit. The engine block looks pretty interesting, so I'd be keen on some other views of the ship, especially a rear view. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  23. Hello! Very original setup! The food looks tasty, especially the cake. The stormtrooper cook's facial expression is perfect. The surrounding room is also well-constructed. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  24. Hello! An original idea doing a space western bar scene. The figures are of clever parts use. But it's really sad you abandoned the background scene. I looked at it na it's really outstanding. The shelf with the bottles and the floor different patterns really make it unique. It would have been a fantastic bar scene. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  25. Hello! I am sorry that you don't like the updated version that much. Therefore, I prepared a special file with the original model - images and instructions - for you and all who liked the more orange version better. Click here to download the original version To answer your question, the Malevolence is still to be build, that's right. I will do my best when I get inspired. Regarding the Invisible Hand, it is already available here: Separatist Capital Ships Cheers, ~ Christopher
