  1. Hello! That's a very inspiring creation! I like especially the outer details which let the museum appear in the right atmosphere. Things like the papers on the street the fell-over trashbin, the ppor man and the "minifig arm" really contribute to make it an authentic scene. Cheers, ~ Christopher

    VS-4

Hello! This is really a cute little craft! The retractable landing gear is a very clever touch here! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  3. Hello! A dark and menacing looking spacecraft! The shape is quite unique with the double set of panels to each side. I also like the use of turntable bases without turntable on the side of the cockpit which is a nice detail on its own by using the curved window. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  4. Hello, another nice interpretation of the TARDIS. The lights look nice, however my most favourite detail is the new 1x1 round plate with hole used for the door. The hole in the plate gives a higher level of detail than a conventional 1x1 round plate and excellently improves the model. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  5. Hello there! What a great ship! The shape is great as you've found a really clever way to get it tiled and sloped at once with those chairs. I also like the transparent pieces for the command towers and crew areas. This always gives a good impression on how big a vessel is. Well done! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  6. Hello! Very authentic look of a battle droid. With many clip/clip-connections. I guess that's the perfect way to get the filigree look of the battle droid construction. No wonder they go hacked off their arms so readily during the battle of Naboo. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  7. Hello! The glowing effects of their weapons are really good-looking. Although I think the lightsabre is a bit too bright for my eyes. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  8. Yes it can also stand when it's moving, meaning making a step. But it looks kind of weird, so I went for the plate as it's the more typical AT-ST pose. ~ Christopher
  9. Hello there! That's a really good version of the Jedi Starfighter. The brick built stripes are really nice. I am not a great fan of stickers in general, so what I like best is that you embedded the yellow pattern in the middle of the nose as a brick-built inlay instead of using a sticker. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  10. Hello again everyone! I am flattered by all the nice words for this tiny walker! I admit that it's not all too stable with the solution for the feet. It's a technique I normall strictly avoid as it's kind of an illegal connection. But the scale of the AT-ST presented here is so small that I didn't see any other solution at that time. And it needs the 2x4 clear plate to not bend over. But I guess it's good enough for the display cabinet. Thanks again and see you all soon! ~ Christopher
  11. Hello! Even people like me who didn't see the movie (yet) recognize this scene as it was very popular in the trailers. What I find most impressive is the perspective/angle of the scene where you shrinked down the scale of buildings and cars the more far away they are. Excellently done! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  12. Hello everyone! Today I'd like to present you a model that is long overdue in my collection - the AT-ST. Let me quickly explain why. The official mini AT-ST of the LEGO® company is one of the few mini models of them that I really like. Hence I decided to go smaller for my version, and the idea how to do that came to me a few weeks ago. So here it is, the 9-piece All-Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST). Click the image to get the instructions. It uses a pair of droid arms and a droid torso. The torso allows for the attachment of a 1x1 clip plate enabling us to get the front of the head slightly sloped. Have a great sunday everyone! Yours Christopher.
  13. Hello! A great addition to the neo-classic space theme. It features many unconventional connections providing a greebly look to the boverbike. Very nice! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  14. Hello everyone, and thank you very much for your kind birthday greetings. Have a great week-end! Yours Christopher.

    Serrator

Hello! The hull looks like the scales of a fish, and it resembles a very interesting technique, well worth to remember! Thanks for sharing, Christopher
  16. Hello! Nice classic design. I wish all those pieces were available in the correct colours. The landing gear system is well thought out, and the old car doors to conceal the weapons work great! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  17. Hello! It's clearly recognizabel as Lambda shuttle. When I understood you correctly you had a limited parts variety when building it, but you did it quite well then. Defining scales is difficult, as even the ships sold officially by LEGO® in the same scale are not to scale with each other. I understand "midi" as a size that is slightly too small for minifigs to fit in, so midi would work well for your shuttle. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  18. Hello! Another nice midi-moc. An advantage of midi compared to mini is that you can add more details. I'd like to encourage you to fully use this advantage. For example by adding the rear telescope outlook. Keep on building, ~ Christopher
  19. Hello! Very good attempt at a mid-scaled Venator. Personally, I don't find the thickness disturbing as it enables you to include many great details as you did. But something in the proportions looks slightly confusing - the gap in the middle seems too long. If I may suggest, I would shorten it about two studs. This shouldn't be a big problem looking at your building skills. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  20. Hello there! This version looks pretty good. The stud inversion using the 3x3 plate with hole works out nicely here, and the cannons are placed well. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  21. Hello again everyone, thank you for the nice words on the EU ships. It's great to be back among all of you. I will provide reference image for EU ships in the future, promised. See you around, ~ Christopher
  22. Hello dear community, it's been a while again, but finding the rigtht place in my new job is more stressy than expected. The more happy I am to present the latest three additions to mini model collection to you. As I am slowly running out of official stuff from the movies, popular Expanded Universe vessels get sometimes more into the focus. -------------------- The first of today's bunch of EU starfighters is the "Hell's Anvil", personal starship of the bounty hunter Montross in the computer game "Bounty Hunter". The shape of a Corellian KR-TB "Doomtreader" transport is unqiue but I tried to make it as recognizable as possible, including the shiny colour. Click the images to see the gallery and instructions: -------------------- The second starfighter of today is the Preybird Starfighter, a heavy offensive craft appearing in several computer games, but mainly popular EU novels, like the books of Timothy Zahn. The wing design was the most difficult as they feature many 45 degrees angles. To realize those best I used three 2x4 double inverse slopes. The outer ones are attached studs down on the center one, connected via TECHNIC® liftarm pieces. Click the images to see the gallery and instructions: -------------------- The last starfighter for today is Prince Xixor's "Virago", a StarViper Attack Platform. It appears throughout the entire "Shadows of the Empire" multimedia project. The shape features many wing tips and angles and is very greebly. Click the images to see the gallery and instructions: -------------------- That's all for today. I hope to post more models soon, as there are several just waiting to be photogrpahed. I am working as fast as possible, promised. Cheers, and see you soon! Yours Christopher.
  23. Hello! Lovely, this reminds me to my childhood. Classic car building; it's nice to see those pieces are still being used. When I remember most of the car bases had attached two 1x2 plates on the underside to hide the gap in the middle where the driver sits. Maybe you want to add these to avoid cold draught during driving. Cheers, ~ Christopher
  24. Hello! What I really like best about this great building is, besides all the details already mentioned, the fact that it brings more cultural diversity to "Cafe-Corner"-styled architecture. Well done! Cheers, ~ Christopher
  25. Hello there again! I am sorry for being late, but I am having a hectic time in my new job. The advantage when replying late is that I was able to see the progress of the building. It was a pleasure seeing the inventory growing into the nicely-shaped building. Very well done everything, and I guess you will continue perfecting the store. Cheers, ~ Christopher
