  1. Im hoping for the 380. Means a bigger castle. I wouldnt care if it was $1000. In fact, I want it to be. The bigger the better!
  2. Maybe this 10 year dry spell for castle sets is just TLGs insurance policy to ensure this set sells like crazy. Even if there are only 3000 pieces, im buying multiples in anticipation of another dry spell until 2032.
  3. Just checked and i bought 4 mill village raid sets so i have 8 goats! They are each worth as much as the whole set was originally priced haha crazy. Honestly i feel bad for all the great castle submissions on lego ideas. They will never get picked with this set on the way.
  4. I hope you are right! Looking at all these epic castles is torture. Appears Brickworld is about 2 months before release so it’s possible. Personally I was hoping for a sneak peak of the 90th anniversary set 90 days before release!
  5. I believe its usually around the beginning of summer when we start seeing leaked images? One video I watched said the official announcement would be in May, but I doubt we will get any photos then.
  6. Haha looks like I just poked a hornets nest! Apologies everyone I was just curious if there was any basis for seeing it listed as a 3 in 1. I agree it is unlikely due to the piece count, and undesirable if it means no new castle parts or animals in the set.
  7. https://brickcatch.com/lego-10305-lion-kings-castle/ Here is one. I believe I saw a couple tho.
  8. I’ve seen a couple references to this being a 3 in 1 creator set. If so, maybe we won’t get a castle/joust/village all in one build. Maybe one build is the castle, one a joust, and the other a village scene? Really hoping for pictures soon…
  9. This set comes out within 5 months. How long before release do leaked pictures usually come out? I would guess a ghost vs a skeleton as a homage to classic sets but its not a deal breaker either way. If they include jelly bean knights, that would be a deal breaker. I dont think they will include anything other than old factions and certainly not make this set a hodgepodge of different themes. That would be heresy!
  10. I agree Creator will be castles home for the foreseeable future. Sounds like LEGO is done with full waves of classic themes. It’s a bummer, but at least they gave us the blacksmith and medieval castle. And if rumors are true and we are getting an epic castle soon, i would rather have one huge castle than an entire wave of sets anyway.
  11. Wow you just figured out exactly what the set will be! Well done sir. Can’t wait for pictures!
  12. This is such exciting news I’m coming out of my current dark age (pun). $350 is about 3 lego kingdoms joust sets which i think is a good basis for estimating parts and figs here. 1575 pieces x 3 = 4725 pieces 9 figs x 3 = 27 figs 2 animals x 3 = 6 animals However, I would expect a higher piece count and lower fig count than above. Either way I’ve boarded the hype train heading straight for August!
  13. One of the soldiers is a girl! That’s weird.
  14. Zoom in on this modular micro zoo! Set features include 4 modular zoo exhibits and 3 modular walkways for numerous layout options (see photos). Exhibits include the zoo entrance, the arctic (penguins, reindeer), the jungle (gorillas), and the sea (sharks). Micro Zoo! Modular! Here is the album Please support this set on LEGO ideas!
  15. This set shows construction of a track to reach a vein of gold, and then how the gold is melted down! Railway to Riches Here is the album
  16. Here are the Micro Mines of Moria! This set also pairs nicely with another set I recently made and posted here Basilisk of the Badlands All commentary welcome! Thanks!
  17. Here is a fun way to make epic scenes using a very few number of pieces! Micro castle is awesome. Wade through danger Side Back That's MY treasure Side Microscale is really fun since you can build huge scenes with only 1/10th of the pieces! Helps on space and budget ;) I submitted this to LEGO Ideas, so it may even be made into a set one day! You can help make it happen if you vote for it here! Thank you for your time!
  18. With the Diablo 3 release date right around the corner, I thought I would make a quick tribute to this awesome series! Brickshelf Thanks for viewing!
  19. Who wouldn't?!
  20. The visors are my favorite castle item too! Wish LEGO would bring them out more. They seemed to pop up every year for kingdoms, but now kingdoms is gone so not sure when we will see them again. Cant think of any LOTR characters that use them...
  21. Personally I would just go with multiples of the new joust set. Not too pricey, there are no panels, a nice mix of castle pieces (color and type), and a falcon knight to boot!
  22. FBTB does not have pictures of that as I have not seen it either. I would assume it looks similar to the back of the wall section in the Uruk-Hai Army set.
  23. Impressive first wave. This line has potential to be the best LEGO has ever made.
  24. Since there are so many LEGO should have done this differently/wish lists popping up, I will start a wishes fulfilled list If I thought hard enough MAYBE I could come up with a better way for LEGO to have done the first wave, but I doubt it. Here is why I am not complaining - 1. LOTR theme! SCORE! 2. Brick built sets. Not many panels. 3. Not too overpriced. 4. Entire fellowships spread out over sets in first wave. All characters, less doubles, keeps cost down. 5. New weapons and armor. 6. New elves, dwarves, orcs, and trolls. 7. Theme will surely continue for several waves, so things they missed will be included later. That is my list. Feel free to add your own wishes granted!
  25. My favorite part is how you show us the scene. In other words, how you cut off certain parts so we can see others. Nicely done.
