    They made a reference to that old catalogue photo of all those forestmen charging a castle. The pic is in the video. Didn’t sound like a hideout but who knows.

    There is still this rumor. Altho it would be a new set not a remake - Brick Clicker youtube video mentions Wooden Duck? (Chinese media outlet) says we are getting a second castle set this year! Something about forest men attacking a castle?!

    The fact some have to nitpick the tiniest details about this set is a testament to how great it is. There are no major flaws. Next someone will complain the black falcon flags are blowing the opposite direction of the lion knight flags on the box art.

    Plot twist. The knights who appear female are actually men trying to look like women so the other knights they are fighting don’t think they need to fight that hard which gives the cross dressing knights the upper hand.

    This is awesome! I was planning on ordering 2 sets day 1, but not building them as I’m in it for the pieces. This idea now has me thinking I may build them to see what the combined structure looks like!

    This seems the likeliest scenario. It appears the secret entrance by the tree leads to a tunnel that goes thru/around the prison and ends in the secret room under the trap door in the market area.

    Im hoping for a cave/rooms the water flows thru! The video also answered my question about the tricky hinges near the buIlding. They don’t even know how it works!

    Best review yet! Interesting the water flows under the castle. Wonder what that will look like. There are some tricky moving parts for the side of the castle with the building/roof. The bottom hinge seems to fold in a traditional style, but the top wall appears to be a double hinge and form a square on the side of the castle when folded. Will be following that to see the technique, and is there a floor in that square when folded?!

    As this is a set for AFOLs, and TLG knows we hate stickers, it would be a bold move to include any stickers in this set. But I’ve been wrong before…

    Anyone else notice the beehive in the big tree? And whats that black square on the left side of the castle when open and viewed from the front? Looks like it comes out of the mill room.

    Would love to see a pic of the back of the castle when closed. From the pic showing the back of the open castle, there is a section in the middle that looks like the outside of the castle. This makes me think the outsides fold in, but do not quite meet in the middle on the back.

    Hehe now that I think about it I will replace all the male heads with female heads except one, and pretend he is me so I will have a harem of female knights and will knight myself Sir Pimp

    Who cares if there are lots of girls?! Castle has been a sausage fest for decades. I welcome the change (and so do all the male knights). Hard to say from the pics, but looks like there are 3 visor helms and 6 lion shields in 2 colors! Combine those with all the weapons and bardings, and this is an awesome castle set even without the beautiful structure! I will support this set as much as I can to help convince LEGO to keep going down this path. I will buy 2 copies day 1, and then more later on as funds permit. Thank you LEGO!

    I agree with you. Closing up like this would put a tower on both ends of the back to contrast nicely with the middle gatehouse in front. Eek! That would be terrible. Even if we can’t get the forestmen set free with the castle, < 8 cents per piece is still a great value!

    The description posted on page 23. It mentions two colors of horses, but i suppose there could be 2 of each. Also mentions a hawk.

    I really hope so, but shouldn’t it have started already? I see there is another LEGO con in mid June but hopefully promobricks is right and we don’t have to wait that long.

    I don’t know how reliable it is, but I dream. A forestmen GWP would be awesome as I could build up my castle pieces and forestmen army at the same time! From the brief description (forestmen attacking a castle), it sounds too big to be a GWP if it is indeed real.
