High five to LEGO! Seems like the Kingdoms sets keep getting better and better. I am excited to connect this with pieces from the Kings Castle and see what emerges! While I hope this does not signal the end of the kingdoms line, this is still epic.

haha no worries I am pretty excited too I also prefer the silver sword. I feel it is more universal. Gold is really for royalty, but a huge silver sword could be put on my favorite knight!

In the new pic it looks like the king has a silver sword instead of gold?! Does anyone else see this?

I won't repeat what everyone has already been saying, but to sum it up these sets make me feel loved! Thank you lego! The kingdoms line just keeps getting better! Are those stickers on the horses or printing? Please don't be stickers.

I also hope they increase the quality of the battle packs, but now that I think about it I probably wouldn't need to buy any more since I plan on buying a ton of the regular sets Of course if there was a civilian battle pack I would have to invest in that... I wouldn't say chicken fever, but I definitely have mounted dragon knight fever. I'm also suffering from pitchfork fever, but in this case the sicker I am now the better this summer will be!

I agree with you. The kingdoms line is looking rather similar to the fantasy era line in terms of number and types of sets, with a few tweaks obviously as Lego realized we love civilian sets Based on the number of sets being released in 2011, and looking at what fantasy did for its three year run, I would say we should get a MINIMUM of 4 kingdoms sets in 2012, but probably more like 5 to 8. I also think there will be a great variety in size of the sets in 2012 like it was last year in 2010. The sets in 2011 are more or less all priced in the middle. My guess on the expensive 2012 set? A larger fortress for the dragon knights! Maybe I am just wishful thinking... either way I will need some place for all the mounted dragon knights I am about to buy to call home!

Is it just me or does the axe that the dragon knight is holding in the tree on the left in kings carriage ambush look weird. Like it is a little too long to be a regular axe... I agree that new horses would be neat. Keep in mind these are preliminary pictures, so the rumored gray horse may appear later on

I really hope the dragon knights get a dark grey visor... that combined with the dark grey armor and the new barding would be lego castle nirvana! Judging from last years preliminary kingdoms pictures, quite a few things could change between these photos and what we actually get come summer. I will just have to cross my fingers until then. As far as getting another MMV exclusive type set in 2011 I don't see that happening as the MMV is still out and we are getting another decent civilian set in this next kingdoms wave. We can always hope though! I too am a fan of the new weapons. Swords, axes, I don't care. The more the better

New kingdoms sets!!! I had to register just to get in on this action! Thanks very much for posting this, I have been waiting for pictures for months These new sets look fantastic. Even though I was hoping for a larger dragon knight castle, I am having a hard time complaining. I am most excited for the mounted dragon knight, and just the greater presence of dragon knights in general. And you can't go wrong with new animals, and a pitchfork, and more civilians, and... I am going to buy so many of these
