  1. That's really too bad. I used to love K'nex. They were a construction brand that had their own designs and style. They were really fun to build with, too. I'm not sure I like the mix of the two pieces; they just don't fit in. Actually, K'nex used to have a 'brick built' fig of their own- it had its own torso and had, and had little joints that you stuck K'nex pieces onto to make fully articulated arms and legs.
  2. Very nice. I like the trans-orange bits for propulsion, especially on the wings. The missile launchers are great, too. Not so sure about the dark grey/dark bley combo. Was this on purpose, or was it a parts shortage?
  3. It's also a very bad picture, and I didn't even see the little floaty droid until someone mentioned it. There's also not much reason to buy the thing without a new fig- as with the ARC-170 and the new fighter pilots. I'm sure in the final box pictures he'll be much more visible.
  4. Nice! I actually did something similar. It is nicer than the stubby version.
  5. No, the thing to the left of the speeder.
  6. Not exactly. Take a look at full size. Yes, the Tri-Fighter is definately different. The plates on the wings are clearly 4 studs thick. I still can't make out what the other thing in the Imperial Battle Pack is. I do see a large white plate, though, and that's always good.
  7. Meh. Not too impressed with the landspeeder or the ARC-170. Both are way too similar to the ones I already have. In fact, If the ARC-170 comes with the new helmets (which I'm pretty sure it does) Then I might consider it... until then, I don't think so.
  8. Yes, your Commander-ness. The Rebel Blockade Runner is a neat set, but unfortunately it's going in second place after the Battle of Endor. It only has one exclusive fig, and Endor has six, as well as two scout troopers and an AT-ST. Third place is Echo Base, because we get two Hoth troops, two snowtroopers, and a Taun-Taun. Too bad for the price, though...
  9. I must say I love KimT's new name. CommanderSithDarkLordDarth.
  10. I was wondering about that... That would be amazing if they did. These look different... When viewed large, they appear to actually be rockets on the end of the flick-fire. BTW KimT.... Nice name change. Suits you very well.
  11. 'Cause Grievous is a moron. I love Grievous in the books and first animated series, because he's cold and calculating and scary. In the CW, though.. Cad Bane is pretty sweet. I like how they've been able to flesh him out more than either Jango or Boba.
  12. As DarthSion said, it's already been posted in the Clone Wars thread. But the password is 'bounty hunters', just so you know.
  13. They're silhouettes? That's why everything's been so confusing.
  14. Nothing to see here, folks. Move on. Move on. They're crazy. It's all you need to know. I swear they're doing it just because they can.
  15. Sorry, I'm a little bit confused. Is there or is there not a cold assault trooper? Wait, I get it. Ani and Obi both in their parkas. Hey, I like that. They may not be cold assault troops, but at least it's something new.
  16. Interesting. Bane is looking good, but I'm not so sure about Sideous. He didn't seem so intimidating- "Excuse the interruption"?! Sideous is supposed to be the one who looks down on everyone, not apologise for disturbing them. On the other hand, looking very good, including the zero-g fighting. Well, I'm not sure the Force has recoil... whenever someone uses the Force in the movies, they don't get jerked backward by the force of the Force. Since the clones have been in training for eight or nine years or so (take one or two away to grow a bit) and I'd guess that they'd be trained in an aweful lot of stuff. Here are some clips from StarWars.com. It seems you have to get a code from Wal-Mart to see the videos. The code is 'bouny hunters'... Real creative. That took all of two seconds to think of. Link Pretty neat. Some better dialogue, good action, and we get to see a Juggernaut. I liked Admiral Yularen's complaint and how Anakin smacks him down. EDIT: Whoops, sorry, Captain REX. I missed your post.
  17. I didn't either. I was sick of using BS, so I went and got a yahoo solely for the purpose of using Flickr. It was worth it.
  18. Thanks, Rufus! I remember my friend having this set and thinking how awesome it was. Unfortunately, I wasn't interested in buying one at the time. STAMPs? I'm not familiar with this one... Stickers That....?
  19. Wait... isn't Ep. III clone wars? Seeing as there are clones in EP. III? Or are you talking about Slave I?
  20. Agreed with Striker. C'mon guys, the one breakfast poll was funny, three's pushing it. EDIT: Wait.... where the hell's the jam??
  21. Ah, I love this set. So glad I got it on sale at TRU. Ugh. I can't count the times it's fallen off for me, having to pick the shattered wreck off the floor and hunt down the instructions.... I eventually fixed it in place, leaving the head stuck where it was, but it was solid.
  22. Just rewatched The Dark Knight. Such a great movie. Still, it'll be interesting to see what happens with the next movie... I'm no Batman expert, so I can't think of any particularly good villains. The Riddler, maybe...
  23. Hmmm, realized I didn't have my new sigfig in here. I thought I did. Oh well, here he is I am...or something:
  24. I'd say IJ is getting cancelled because it's running out of recognizable sets to make. I can't really imagine TLC not making Harry Potter again. While I didn't get many of the old sets, all sorts of interesting pieces came out of it.
  25. Bricklink is a wonderful thing.
