  1. You forgot what else he said: It's also for a more mature audience. Lego has no problem doing kid's shows, I think Galidor was even a kid's show. At least, I think I remember seeing it on TV.
  2. Phew! I've been waiting for someone to review this. Thanks! For some reason, It's not available on S@H... I think there was an argument on that sometime back, wasn't there?
  3. Well...that's a certainly...creative... way to use him. Wait, you have it. Or a review of BW as a whole?
  4. Because men find the oddest things to get obsessed with...
  5. Yup, probably found a box in their warehouse. Wait a month and it'll probably be gone.
  6. Goes here, guys: Ebay Madness And that's funny- Does he honestly expect to get somebody on that?
  7. Here. (Not counting Obi-Wan Kenobi)
  8. Yellow all the way. Flesh might be more realistic in some cases, but it's just not the original. I think it also looks wierd for some cases, like Luke and blond hair.
  9. How do you find the set instructions? I've looked all over S@H and I can't find a thing. EDIT: Whoops, I spoke too soon. There they are.
  10. I'm not sure I can do a helmet. I'd have to find the right colors first, and then I'd have to figure out how to paint it properly. I am planning to add a jetpack once I get my hands on the new SW sets. As for the decals, that was on the original Boba. The little holes on his knee armor are supposed to be dart launchers or something. But that just gave me an idea- now that I have a female torso, I can now actually have a Mandi, Lori, and Anne to get my revenge on Imperialshadows for starting that.
  11. That's going to be one heck of a base. I like it! I don't remember seeing any true helicopters with the agents apart from the giant one. Maybe work on the tail, though- maybe make it thinner and more sleek, rather than a big brick?
  12. Yeah... I think I might change the head. I was trying to find something that three other people didn't have. It was also the original head I used when I came here. Hm... I think the paper is actually sticking very well- it's fairly thick, so what you're seeing is the white edge. That'll be fixed when I eventually get proper decal paper. If ever. As for the arms, I agree that it balances on the overcomplicated. I might go with just the shoulder stickers.
  13. You may remember this topic I made a while ago about a new sigfig that would supposedly match my username- it was rough and didn't go anywhere, so here's take two: Decal: I accidentally printed the leg pieces off white, but I think it turned out all right. I also dabbled in making a female Mandalorian based off of this picture. I'm not so sure about it. Suggestions? As usual, C & C welcome.
  14. Wow, these are all impressive. Very nice job. I was wondering where these came from. Could you possibly do mine?
  15. I definately like the first head.
  16. Wow, can't wait to see the whole thing when you guys are done with BW. Is this why there hasn't been any Whacker and the Walrus, Hink?
  17. It bothers me a little bit... Not because its unreadable, but because it's distracting, and is mostly used by people (trying not to say kids... Imperialshadows ) trying to get attention. But if it's readable and your posting is thoughtful and complete (Which it is), then it's just fine. It's your posting style and is up to you.
  18. To each his own, I think. You don't like the figs, you don't need to collect them- more for us on Bricklink. Minifigs have become half the SW universe- as you said, they make the sets interesting. We can MOD a set to be more accurate to an actual design, but it's very hard to MOD a fig to fit the original. Most of us don't have the capability to make decals or custom heads. And so, we have to wait for TLC's version.
  19. Great set. I think it provides a little breather from the othe Clone Wars sets. This is an exclusive, right?
  20. True- Skill and training are completely impossible to download into a program. We also don't know how 'expert' the experts in the weapons they're testing are. It's made even worse when trying to compare two individuals. Still, I think it's an interesting show, if not very scientific. My favorite part is simply seeing the weapons they're testing in action. I've only seen two episodes (Maori vs. Monk), (William Wallace vs. Shaka Zulu) but I liked it. My favorite part was when they were testing the Claymore- pretty scary!
  21. Great plant life- very nice. Also a very tempting idea for Maul's 'saber, I might have to try that.
  22. Interesting topic. Pics in the topic are a must for me. I find that it's more eye-catching and flows much better than clicking on a link and waiting for it to open...click...load...click...load... and so on. Having the pictures simply flow with the description of the MOC or MOD is much easier, and is even more important on a review, when there are many pictures and you are following a detailed description of the build.
  23. Hmm, no bley, and his limbs are well proportioned? I like him. Nice mask and club, too.
  24. Whoops. Edited... Fleshie minifigs are fine by themselves, but I like classic yellow, and they just don't blend in. Luke's face in fleshie, combined with tan hair, just looks wierd to me.
  25. Scruffy nerf-herder.
