Whoa.... dang. I was confused why he was fighting Boba for a little bit... but then I saw that he's doing something in Jabba's palace. There's a high chance Boba will be there. I'm sad that I'm pretty sure Boba will die.... but it'll be so awesome seeing them fight.

Star Wars The Clone Wars Season 2 Discussion
Corvus replied to DarthSion's topic in Culture & Multimedia
No... they're Mercenaries. They get hired for a lot of money. Wait, wait, what is this? Mandalorians are mercenaries. Someone paid them to go after Obi-Wan. And no Mando would ever join the Republic unless they got paid to. Besides, the Mandalorians weren't all dead. Sure, a lot of supercommandos died in Galidraan, but Mandalore was still going strong. Nah... Ghez Hokan has red armor. Exactly what I thought. Flamethrowers are meant to terrify you, and droids don't get scared.... Mandalore is mostly wild forest, interspersed with small settlements of exremely awesome people. I wouldn't like seeing the CW end up on Hoth... because I just know that I would end up hating it. The Mandos weren't quite as good as they should have been. Their helmets looked wierd, and they didn't seem to have a lot of cool tech on them- no jetpacks. I would've liked to see some more customization, like kamas, different paint schemes, really big guns. I just know the Mandos are going to die in some pathetic way or another. We know Obi-Wan lives. My best hope is that the Mandos find out that whoever's paying them has died, and leave, right when Obi-Wan is quivering and bleeding, but not dead, on the ground. I don't think that's Boba, either. Boba was 15 at the time, his accent was different, and he happened to be working for Jabba the Hutt at the time. This is so going in my sig. -
[MOC] AT-ST from the Endor set 8038 modified into a two-seater
Corvus replied to Lars's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Very cool. Once I get the set, I'm doing it. -
I don't find anything wrong with this list. That's a first. I'd love to have all of them. The Rebels seem to have a pilot- those I can always have more of, same with Snowtrooers. If any come with a Wampa, even bigger plus. I'd like a Tri-Fighter, too. Mine was taken apart long ago, and, as some speculate, if it's an Octuptarra droid, that'll be even better. I like the idea of the ARC-170 being remade. I wasn't so fond of the original, because it had too many holes. TIE defender. Landspeeder- well, we'll see.

As long as hair covers it. A lot of them have mouth expressions going down below the curve of the head, which is really hard to cover. Take a look at the skull twins- the helmet that was designed for them didn't even cover the printing.

Oh. I think you just gave me nightmares.

I'm really impressed with the Blockade Runner. I was a little unhappy with it at first because I thought the proportions were really off, but now it seems great. True, the office is a little confusing, but I'm just glad there is an interior. Dang, that's a big picture. Cool. That's funny, I'm exactly the opposite. I always mod them. I'm a terrible MOCer, and I always have to have something to build off of, so modding sets is my favorite.

Very cool. It does look a little bit like the gun tower, although Mace Windu or or Ahsoka were never there. As a little nitpick though, I don't think there's a lot of need for the blaring "CLone Wars" logo off to the side- I found it a little distracting.

I've gotten an extra weapon or two, but nothing major. However, Exobuilder got a horse in an EF set he bought.

I'm not much of a town person either, but this is such a great set. It's so tempting to buy this and Green Grocer just to have my own little shelf display of it. The SNOT is very good, too. The 1932 must have taken a long time to make. Looks very fragile, too. I think my favorite part, though, is the second floor- I love the ping-pong table and that refrigerator.

Interesting idea about the white plate. My first thought was "Couldn't you just use a stud instead?" But these are nice because you can actually put something through them..,

What should there be in the next Agents theme?
Corvus replied to Batbrick's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
I'd really like to see the Agents work more on their small vehicles. I was kind of dissapointed with the Agent vehicles this year. The small ones are all throwaway- The little boat in River Heist, the wheeled thing in Gold Tooth's Getaway, and the vehicles in Robo Attack both lack imagination. The 4-Wheeled Pursuit vehicle is... well, not much of an Agent's vehicle. The only vehicles I like so far are the giant Agent's Helicopter and Dr. Inferno's robot. I really liked the vehicles of the first wave, except for the mini-vehicles from the Mobile Command base. They were well designed and of a good medium size- the jet, the car, and the superbike. I only hope that TLC makes more effort to make vehicles like these if they continue the line. -
Wonderful job. I really enjoy looking at it as it keeps evolving fom a wooden fort, getting more and more complex. Really, really cool. I was wonder that, too. Must be a reference.

What is the cheapest set with asoka?
Corvus replied to Emperor Claudius Rome's topic in LEGO Star Wars
And there's the problem. You could get both off of Bricklink for about $30 cheapest, and just the figs, or spend $90 to get the AT-TE, getting both the figs but also a pretty nice set. -

These arms: I have a limited amount of yellow arms, and pulling these out of the bin is just annoying after hoping I just found a spare piece.

Wow, very nice! I can't wait to see the rest of it.

Oh, awesome. Definately an avatar. Amazing job, man!

It's called "your parents." I do the same, actually. I don't have time for a job as I'm full-time volunteering. I'm not quite sure this deserves it's own topic, though. I'm fairly certain there's a "What's your job?" topic out there...

I was wondering about that... My guess is:

Congratulations, man! That sounded like one hell of an interview, but fun at the same time. Much better than the SATs, at least. Too bad you had to leave Chicago, though. Maybe I'll have to visit you for your birthday. This really, really, really (etc.) needs to be frontpaged.

I just saw it, and it had some great pros but some terrible cons... I liked the movie overall. The Transformers were well designed (except for the balls) and the action sequences were great, but I couldn't see them since it went so fast and the camera shake was so bad... I have to agree on the humor. All of it was either stupid or overly sexual. I remember seeing the first one with my sister and squirming the whole time whenever they let off... I couldn't enjoy the movie at all because of it. This time, while I didn't have any vulnerable young relatives with me, I liked the movie more, but the humor was even worse. The action in this movie was great, but Michael Bay seems to think it needs to have sex in it. Once again, it felt a lot like one big Chevrolet cartoon.

Wow, very nice base there! While not your biggest, you certainly have crammed a lot of cool stuff in there! I was expecting everyone to die, but instead I got a happy ending! Cool. I know you want to do "Interactive Supervillian", but maybe when you're done with that you could re-visit the IA series?

I was trying to make it similar to the one that Boba Fett's granddaughter wears in Karen Traviss's books on "Legacy of the Force"... Though now that I think about it, it wasn't blue...
