I really like this set and think it will work well in my city A couple of things though - I will be adding curtains to the theatre room - maybe a wall around the projector so it is in its own room - first modular that I might purchase 2 of and extend the lobby and theatre room... - I actually like the stickers and don't mind that they are not printed bricks! - love the stars on the sidewalk!

Excellent work on the Launched Freefall! Would fit nicely in any amusement park or fair ground! RCT3 has just been put on the Mac App store so I know I'll be playing it again real soon!

It was my 30th yesterday and even though I did very very well with LEGO from my wife (Grand Emporium, Mining Truck, Tipper Truck, and Robbers Hide Out) - I still wanted to check out some of the stores on the Gold Coast for the 2013 sets and I must say its like the LEGO apocalypse has hit and the shelves are very bare! A handful of 2012 vehicles and the big police helicopter set was basically all I could find! Hoping the stock hits soon! -
Excellent MOD!! Very similar to something I want to create for my layout!

Thanks for the review - the Builder minifig face could be used for a great Walter White (Breaking Bad) custom!

I'm hoping the cargo terminal will have some train influence or compatibility - either way I'll find a place for it on my layout!

I'm really excited about this set now! I think they have done a great job on the train and would make a great addition to any layout. Put a couple on my buy list! On another note - the 79110 mine set and the narrow gauge track - does that just look like standard size straight track and modified to include single piece inner rails to make it narrow gauge?

David Jones has 20% off lego tomorrow only for a Christmas sale -
The N Gauge magnetic couplers are made by Micro-Trains and would be too small for LEGO. HO scale by Kadee would also be too small. G scale (LGB) would be too big! The O Scale ones above look to be a perfect size. (My Dad has been importing model trains into Australia for over 30 years so I grew up with this stuff!) I like the idea and something I have been considering myself but would like to come up with a LEGO way to Knuckle Couple or just a way to hands free uncouple with magnets in the track. This could involve replacing the standard magnets...

Great work! Are the EL wires powered off individual batteries or running into one power source? Also, do they just power on or do you have them going into a circuit to flash, strobe etc?

Excellent work! Would love to see a side shot especially of the back and the boat ramp area!

I'm quite happy that the AUS price is $159 compared to the US price of $129 - normally it would be double so thats not bad at all!
-
Nice display! One question however - I live in Brisbane, am a AFOL and had no idea about BrisBricks 2012! Did they do any advertising or anything? I had today off and would have come to the show but had absolutely no idea this was going on!

I'm in x 2! I know I certainly couldn't build a better one! Cudos to Jamie for designing an awesome model!
