Totally agree a Zoo theme is needed! For me it will also work for the Circus scene I am building!

Looking forward to seeing someone turn this into a modular... although I can see it sitting nicely as a stand alone house on a hill on my layout!

Still want a circus or a zoo - both would make excellent additions and there's plenty of opportunity for multiple sets and city/train cross over..

Never been too impressed with this set - I only really like the box car so can't justify spending the money on the set just for that - would rather buy multiple box cars off brick link - hopefully they come out with something better next year!

Can confirm that the buy 2 get 1 free took the catalogue items back to full retail. I asked when I got there and the nice lady verified that if an item was in the catalogue then I scanned up at full RRP. Needless to say I didn't get anything but walked down to Kmart and picked up a Seaside House - none on the shelf but there was a trolley on the floor with a couple of unopened lego cartons. Hoping to use the blue pieces for a Maersk building office!

I'm hoping along the lines of the Cargo train being at $219 because its in the current catalogue and then buy 2 get one 1.... I'm heading to Myer this arvo so I'll try my luck!

I love to know more info about your additional wagons. How much did they cost for the parts etc? Looks stunning being 5-6 cars long!

picked up the recycling truck last night from Kmart Pacific Fair - had the mining dump truck in my hands as well but put it back. Really wanted the bigger mining truck which is the same price but they had none left in stock. I'll get around to putting those 2 and the mine on lay buy for christmas. It figured they were only 20% off which will come around again anyway!

Got my vote! I have been hoping for a zoo / circus theme for ages! Any chance you could have a crack at doing another elephant? Asian and African? I'm not a huge fan of the last style especially the way the trunk is positioned!

Very jealous! I have 2 sets but would love to get more! Long trains look so much better! Even jealous of the extra emerald night carriages!

Awesome design! These are my favourite freight wagons especially the BN / BNSF colour schemes so I will definitely be building a few of these!! Once again, awesome design and great work!

Just picked up 2 of these while I was in Texas last week! Built one of them yesterday once I got back to Australia and was really impressed! Really enjoyed building the set and just by changing some of the colours there are some great opportunities for different railroads!
