Guys can anyone help me out on this one,iv tryed brick link but no luck,I have a very good 8868 set with box all stored away but I'm missing the inner trasparent tray that fits on top of the yellow inner tray,would anyone know where I might get this piece or would anyone have a spare. I'd be very gratefully full any help on this. David.

Pneumatics are just better in most ways,yes they have more power and they are 100% more realistic,la,s are good for persision work but the mechanical noise they make is not very life like. I used to like la,s but just not any more since I got 8110,iv lots of sets with la,s including 8258 and 8043 but there mainly display models,there's more satisfaction using pneumatics and getting the practise on some great real life movements. I remember my first pneumatic set was 8862 backhoe back in 1989. Also iv just ordered a new misb 8455 backhoe which is probably the best pneumatic set out there,wasn't cheap tho ;(

I'm alway desperate,for me 3 flagships a year would be great,after the introduction to pneumatics again I'm starting to hate LAs now ;(

I'm looking for info on some technic designer history ie who created all those epic great sets in the 90s for example who designed 8455/8466/8868 and so on! Are these guys still working for lego or are they retired etc.who was the best designer of all time in Lego on flagships and other great sets! Any info would be great.

Over done lol most plows are orange and everyone thinks they look great ;) if I'm honest the black is way off for a plow.

I'm glad to see this tread running again,I was thinking the same thing about it ha, did u get enough orange panels to do the whole plow?or do u like it in black?

As above,have we seen the last of them for a few years again do ye think?doesnt look like we're getting any sets with pneumatics in 2012 ;( Seeing sets coming with LA,s again next year makes me sad ;(

The crane does not look at all realistic to me,the base is way to big and square looking!this model looks like something trown together In a rush.

Thanks Daniel but why did they put the age limit 11-99 tho? I'm looking at a new set at the moment for €200 misb but it has the black box and I actually prefer the yellow :)

Why is this turntable so important to people?

I'm in the process of buying a 8455 backhoe but there is one thing interesting me a lot and that's why did they come in differant box styles and colours,from what iv seen there is a black box and a yellow box! There is also an other yellow box with more info as in how many pieces are in the set! What's the reason for these 3 differant boxes? Also an other thing that always bothered me is why did they put 11-99 on the yellow box and never on any other set? Iv asked these questions on the backhoe compressor tread but got no answers!

It really doesn't work,they are very tight fit.
