    ZEMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! If someone is willing to entertain the questions, I don't see the problem. It's not like we're filling the thread with questions and no hope of answers. Sure, that would be useless and a waste of everyone's time. But uh, that's not what's going on. As for the veracity of the claims, we're all grown-ups, at least according to the EuroBricks registration requirements. It seems a bit early to bring the hammer down. (Though I don't understand randomly asking about Black Mask. Was he even in the trailer or anything? I get that Calendar Man, Kite Man, etc weren't in it either. That's exactly why they're so unexpected.) So yeah. Any info about classic Green Arrow would be appreciated. Though with the figs rumored so far, it would seem they aren't straying away from the Bat-family and Bat-rogues, so I don't have much hope for tangential Bat-allies with spiffy new (old) costumes. Fair point, it would seem, but I think it all sounds reasonable. With the number of sets being released, you know they're going for deep cuts, and this movie is even more toyetic than TLM. The only bit that really gives me pause is the sheer number of figures in the Arkham set. If it's true, it's gonna be pricey. As for it being too good to be true, well, if Delta says "yes, that Green Arrow figure will be released!", THEN maybe I'll care enough to doubt him But the lack of Bane WOULD be surprising.

    Well, your list didn't show, but it's right up there. ANYWAY, I wouldn't care for a Christmas-themed CMF line, but I definitely agree that LEGO needs a proper Snowman ASAP. I'd love to see that in a future series. That's how I interpreted that, but then I'm exceedingly aware of your Castle-love, so I read your comment in that context. The point is, sure, we'd all (theoretically) like a themed series devoted to our personal fave, but what about everyone else? Best to mix it up all the time so everyone can get in on the fun. As for licensed series, I think they're cool, and I'm totally okay with them, but not at the complete expense of the traditional series. I'm not really as down with general-themed waves, like the Monsters (even though there were some really cool figs) or Christmas (even though there would undoubtedly be at least one fig I liked.) I'm not a completionist, so I like being able to pick up whatever strikes my fancy without being overloaded by sameness.

    WHAT?? Dude, Snyder is a visionary, and LIGHT-YEARS beyond anything that came before. He really understands the DC Universe, and more importantly, he understands the characters and their motivaaaaaaahhahahahahaha, I kid. We are totally sympatico. I was actually planning to incorporate a door with a giant keyhole! I was trying to think of ways to incorporate an actual unlocking mechanism into in before you could open it up, but phew, it was/is (probably still, but maybe not?) beyond my skill set. I also had thoughts of including his little chessboard with the statues, and the suggestion of the Titanic sticking out of an implied back room, and Superman-robots. But the space needed for all that....phew. I actually built the base pretty thick so that I could build down from the entrance and have at least two levels. But yeah, I stalled. Lol. The only thing I know for certain is that I need to find something suitable to use as the classic statues of Lara and Jor-El holding up Krypton. Actually, if you have any thoughts on appropriate figures for that, drop 'em on me! All I can figure so far are just generic male and female statues, with gray capes, holding a globe or some sort of Bionicle-y orb. Damn. I really need to clear off my table and get to work. This weekend. DO IT, SELF.

    Thanks for the link to that IDEAS Sanctorum! I had not seen that! No matter, the Leopardon explanation makes PERFECT sense. Dang Spider-Mechs, always messin' stuff up. Wow, your origin story is hilarious. Fifth graders are so dumb. Also, I lol'ed at "not Not-Superman Hyperion", so thanks for that too.

    I'll be honest, I squee'd when you mention Danny the Street. Love me some (Morrison) Doom Patrol! As for DC Girls Superheroes, meh, with minidolls, they'll have to have mind-bogglingly superb set designs to get me even moderately interested. Oh well, I've still got tons of LEGO to spend money on, so no loss.

    WHY MUST YOU TEASE ME SO. How ironic it would be to get him and not a traditional Zemo. (I'm sure this mantled has been claimed by someone else since the original Thunderbolts day, but to me, it'll always be Zemo screwing with e'eryone.) Since we're tossing out guesses, I'm betting it's Santa Claus. With wings and a shield. Wait, this is the January wave? Nevermind, too late for Santa. I now think it will be the Easter Bunny. With wings and a shield. Just you wait.

    SHAMELESS PLUGS FOR EVERYONE!! Yeah, I'm not a HUGE fan of the Donner films, but that version of the fortress is (IMO) the only iconic version there is. As for the rest of the stuff, there's not really anything Donner (or Singer *shudder*) -related. And yes, all of the mini-builds will eventually fit into a playset-style interior, I'm just not there yet. I stalled out on the exterior and switched to interior builds without having a sure idea of where they'll go. Byrne era Battle Suit...would that be the purple one I'm thinking of? You should do it! Thank you for your kind words! I'm so very happy that you recognized the Phantom Zone generator design! It's not perfect, but I definitely think it evokes that design, and I'm glad you do too!

    Shameless plugging works! But seriously, I like it! Sooooooooo many Hydra agents, I'm a bit envious! I love that you have minifig storage built in to the lower floors. That seems like a great idea for a structure that's so tall. I also enjoyed reading of your struggles and finding BrickLink and using LDD and etcetera. Ah, memories As a comic nerd, though, I only have one problem: Strange's Sanctum Sanctorum is definitely not in Stark Tower. You did a nice job incorporating it, I just think it's blasphemous. But a fun, friendly sort of blasphemy. Eh, we can blame that on Spider-Verse too........somehow..... Have you seen the newest trailers for Luke Cage? Misty Knight FTW! Also, I've always been curious, is your screen name SUPPOSED to remind me of Hyperion? It can't just be a coincidence, can it?

    TBH, I was really shocked when Hulk said that. Everyone knows girls only like dolls. Yes, I'm being facetious. But who is Sir Von Lego? Do we trust him (no offense, SVL)? I don't remember him as an informant, but that doesn't mean he isn't. Just curious. (Mostly because of what he said in the Marvel thread.)

    Sir Gareth made this comment off-handedly. We got into the semantics of his comment, etc., a while back. Gareth was saying there's three sets, thus three chances for him to appear. He did not mean to imply that he would show up for certain in one of the three. TL;DR Zemo is NOT confirmed by anyone in the know. Ha, yes, sorry. Though I'm just as welcoming of constructive criticism. My morale is currently just fine

    Ah. Yeah, I don't think we we're talking about that one. There's still one set left of the wave that we know nothing about. I know that's what I was talking about. I wouldn't really expect him in a set with Coulson. Though, to be fair, I would have NEVER expected Detroit Steel under ANY circumstances, so who knows. CLICK MY LINK!

    You and me both! For most characters, bigfigs just look so wildly out-of-scale, it's ridiculous. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed when the Killer Croc polybag images were proven fake. There's very few characters, IMO, that are suitable to that size, but yeah, Clayface could easily be one of them. That said, I think I'm still in the "brick-built" camp.

    That would be great. I didn't care about having him until I got the airport battle, and now he is sorely missing. But I'm not gonna pay $40 for just him. That's craaaaaay. But yeah, all speculation at this point, so...

    The black and yellow cape does look pretty fantastic. I can see why people might like Mr. Incredible's arms for this purpose, but for me, it's too much black. If everyone had "gloves" that went that far, it would be different, but as it is, it looks a bit incongruous with everyone else. IMO, of course. (And feel free to visit my NEWLY POSTED MOC THREAD and tell me what YOU don't like! Yes, this is a reaaaally shameless plug. But it's not the reason I posted, so maybe it's okay? Maybe? Maybe?
