  1. That looks flippin' gorgeous.
  2. I don't recall seeing Captain Boomerang in any of the trailers or promotional materials or a anything. If it's true, and I missed something, then it's a fair point. HOWEVER, I still think the clue is more befitting Catman than Cheetah. Ha, oops! Not a clue, I just like the phrase. I don't know jack
  3. Correct It happens, but when the conversation completely derails, that's generally when the Mods step in.
  4. I wouldn't expect Cheetah in a LBM theme. She's more suited to WW sets (if they happen), DC Superheroes sets, or Superhero Girls sets. To me, that definitely sounded like a Catman hint. As for the undead and their manners, I originally took that as a possible Solomon Grundy reference, until someone mentioned Gentleman Ghost. That makes so much more sense for the clue. And for Orca, part of me expects a regular fig with a molded bodysuit, something that could be reused as an animal suit CMF, like we/they are so fond of. Curiouser and curiouser.
  5. I dunno, you guys. LEGO aren't really expensive enough yet...
  6. That sounds like a solid idea. I'll definitely take some pictures when I get to it, and I'll post them here for anyone who's interested. Thanks guys!
  7. I can see globs of glue in some places, and it looks, feels, and acts like hot glue. Some pieces, I'm able to pry apart with minimum effort or damage, and the glue can be scrapped/peeled off. Will straight-up isopropyl alcohol harm the bricks, or do I need to dilute it? I'm not really worried about damaging the prints, since I don't care about any of these prints. I may have to look into the eucalyptus oil as well. EDIT: Or not. That junk is exPENsive.
  8. A friend works at Wal-Mart and was able to get two of the large LEGO displays. They are glued together with hot glue, and I'm wondering if there is any way to dissolve/remove the glue en masse without damaging the bricks. I was searching Google and one article mentioned isopropyl alcohol, but doesn't mention effects on the item which was glued. Any help or directions to an existing thread about this would be appreciated. Thanks!
  9. Huh, how interesting! If you tried ordering a replacement through the site, but were unable, I'd suggest calling the customer service line and speaking with someone. Their reps are always really helpful and there may be something they can do.
  10. To be honest, that's what killed a lot of my momentum in the game: upgrading to XB1 after already completing a large percentage of the game on XB360. The thought of going back and redoing all those puzzles and races and stuff? Meh. I'm definitely looking forward to season 2 to reinvigorate my interest. I'm pretty sure he's saying his personal 360 died. Unless I'm misreading him, you shouldn't have anything to worry about...except for your 360 dying.
  11. Agreed on all points. Lovely packaging, though...
  12. LOL! That's easily the best LEGO cat build I've ever seen. @Z06 - Thanks for the comparison images! That thing looks brilliant!
  13. When someone asks me if I saw/heard the news, for a split-second, i think "why, did TLG reveal a new set??" Also, I killed a kitten once. He had it coming, though.
  14. It's 1984 all over again. But seriously, that's lame, I was enjoying the farce.
  15. So what happened to the 10 or so posts that were after this? They're just gone? Nice.
  16. Indeed it is! And welcome!
  17. I'd slap my mother for a Squirrel Girl figure. Or yours. Or anyone's.
  18. Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!! Was it confirmed that 'sgeureka' is in a fun pack? I'll buy it if it's on sale
  19. Hey, these are really nice! My favorite insignificant detail/ NPU is the gray paint-roller handle as wires coming from the computer. Nice one! The only criticism I've got is for the silver cupcake up top. Can't say I'm a fan of that, but jeez, that's such a minor thing. These really do look great! Looking forward to more!
  20. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: Oh man, definitely gonna need that LDD file from ya! Hey daryen, glad you made it to the party! You're quite welcome! And if you come up with anything cool, come back and share with us!
  21. Thanks Krulis and Ordinareo for giving this thread something actually worth reading.
  22. Well, I was going to whine about wanting the FF, dammit, but it seems three or four people beat me to it Add me to the petition. I agree that Plastic Man and Jake the Dog could possibly benefit from them too. Oh wow. I don't know why this opinion surprised me so much, but it did. For me, the whole point was the Milano. That thing is sweet. The little enemy ship was just a bonus. As for the team itself, I will always prefer the comic-version to the film-version, but I liked them for what they were. It was a solid buy when it was on discount. Yay for opinions It would be amazing to see a UCS version though!
