  1. PITTPENGUIN123 IS A TOOL. Ha, just kidding. That cracks me up every time I see your signature. But for realsies, I like your maze! The very limited color palette definitely mimics that portion of the movie. I love that various browns and tans used for the ground. I didn't realize this was a render until I saw the second photo. I guess I forget how amazing the renders can look. It's too bad you'll be disqualified for not having fun
  2. I think it sounds spot on. Why leave all that cash on the table?
  3. I wouldn't say I'm vehemently opposed to it. I debated a lot about whether or not to get that set. The Vision was one of the only characters from it that I cared about, and I liked the Quinjet section of the build well enough, but in the end, I couldn't feel justified in buying it. I DID buy the CA:CW Airport Battle set, and I really think the AoU Quinjet looked much, much better, but the rest of the set offered more that I was interested in. Hell, I would've paid $80 just for that Giant-Man/Ant-man combo. (Not really, but you get my meaning.) This 4th CW set, though, offers me some cool versions of characters that I don't have and some cool parts in a color that I like, all at a price I won't feel nearly as much. I think it's a winner for me. I understand that people have different opinions and all, but I don't really *get* the dislike for the truck build. It isn't something that I'll keep built, but that isn't too surprising for me. For what it is, it looks fine. Why do people think it looks bad? Or is it *just* that it differs from the movie, apparently? Wheeeeeeeeee!
  4. You two are my favorite emerging rivalry OMG, Banjo, are we getting a Tom Cruise on Oprah's couch set??? As for this 4th Civil War set: looks okay to me. Often the builds in the superhero sets go straight into my parts selection, so the tanker doesn't bother me. In fact, it looks orange-yellow, so I'm actually stoked about that. Love that color. The minifigs look pretty cool. I couldn't bring myself to buy the AoU Quinjet, so I'm glad to get Vision, and a Hawkeye with purple is fantastic. Spidey should be cool, though TBH, I like this design better in the film than I do on the fig itself. That could change with higher-resolutions pictures. All in all, I am surprised that I may be tempted to get my third MCU set. Fun times!
  5. On purpose. https://www.google.com/search?q=en+route&ie=&oe= Unless there's another "typo" I'm not seeing. But yeah
  6. Ooooooh pretty! I'm definitely gonna be grabbing that. I think I'll mix and match with my old Power Armor Lex to see what combination I like best.
  7. To be fair, you're still trolling EVERYONE with your sig and profile pic.
  8. What about Martin Freeman being revealed as Supreme Leader Snoke? That was a pretty solid twist.
  9. After you cough, you're supposed to tell us which set you were talking about. Unless you were still talking about the Croc set. Because that's generally how I felt about the Darkseid Invasion set: didn't care for the builds too much, but the minifigs were pretty great.
  10. First off, sorry, but I don't know where else to post this: if anyone has a spare Alice, Daisy, or Ursula they would be interested in trading, send me a PM. I don't have spare Disney figs, but I have other stuff. As for the ones I've got so far, I have everyone I want (except the above-mentioned), which means no Stitch, Mr. Incredible, Syndrome. Just not a big fan of those. My favorites are the Cheshire Cat, as I knew he would be since we first learned he was his own figure, Genie, Aladdin, Pan, and Hook. I think they're all fantastic. Genie's head-cap looks every-so-slightly more disappointing that it did in pictures, even though it's exactly how it looked. He almost looks better without it. If only the feather/ponytail fit into the regular minifig-stud-recess. Still love him though. Pan and Aladdin are spot on. I just need to dig out a loaf of LEGO bread to give to Aladdin. I must say, I'm a much bigger fan of Mickey/Minnie/Donald in-person than I was of the pictures. I was critical of the choice of long legs rather than short legs, and while I still think it would have been a perfectly valid (or perhaps even better) choice, they are just so darn charming looking back at you, I can't help but love them. I didn't get Daisy because I didn't think I cared, but once I got home and opened them all, man, she belongs they alongside the rest of them. Speaking of ducks, their new tail piece is absolutely one of my favorite pieces. I don't know how useful I'll find it, but the execution of it and the effect it has are both spot-on. Kudos to the designers on that one. I found a virtually full box at TRU and was able find multiples of every other figure, but not a single Alice or Ursula. Weird. Can't wait for series 2!! Umm...oookay. Seems a bit.....
  11. What was the point of this conversation again?
  12. Gotta agree with other people on this one: I definitely want this. I wasn't around for the original blue version of Nightwing, but I got the red version. However, I've never ever preferred that iteration of his costume, so I'm psyched to see him turn up again in blue, especially with a hairpiece that's a bit less...extreme.
  13. Ah, I see what you mean. Guess I misinterpreted. Thanks for clearing that up! The thought of the returning darker shield variant piqued my interest for this poly, but I guess I'm back to not really caring so much.
  14. Sent you a PM. TL;DR, my apologies. Well, from what I'm hearing and seeing, if the eye-printing being slightly small is the biggest issue, you/they/we are getting off easy. Good luck to all. For the record, in the last two years since I've been collecting LEGO again, I've never had a problem with a single CMF fig that I've bought. Not a one. I accidentally threw away the Spooky Girl's skirt piece, because, at the time, I didn't know TLG made anything like that, and I didn't realize it was in the bag, but that was on me
  15. You seem to imply that the shield in the Cap polybag is the darker red one. Is that what you're saying? Can anyone confirm this? Thanks in advance!
  16. Aaaaaand you just ruined it for me. Thanks. I freaking love every new Spidey bit I see. He sounds so wonderfully young! Finally, the original quipster arrives in the MCU.
  17. Most sets that I buy sit around in my room unopened for a while, until I'm craving something to build or something, but that bridge is gonna be opened as soon as it gets home. SCARLET SPIDER FTW, BEACHES. Huh, I just remembered that Spidey 2099 was originally rumored for that set. C'est la vie.
  18. Glad some people have responded to this. To be honest, reading that original post kind of pissed me off. Who are you to tell anyone what is or is not a lot of money? Or what is or is not a legitimate gripe? Damn, dude. Beyond that irrational response to a harmless post, it's pretty disheartening to hear that some LEGO stores have these for sale already. I haven't checked mine because the release date isn't until the 1st. Arrrggg. Also, I lost my job recently, so $4 is a lot right this second. I'm afraid these will be all gone by the time I can afford them. Bugger all. No offense, Nemo.
  19. Wow, they do look pretty great, except for the fact that Kraven looks waaaaay over-medicated. Do you think he's capable of feeling anything at all?
  20. Now that you said it, it seems so obvious: Space-Wizard. Case closed.
  21. I give it a solid "meh" rating. Depends on if you can find it for less than $20. The hubworld is the same-old-same-old, gold bricks, races, etc. The retro games are the biggest draw, so if you don't care about those, or about completing the game, I'd pass.
  22. Ding, ding, ding! Winner! The only version of the castle(s) I know is the one from the logo. I've always assumed it's been the same castle in the logo throughout the years, though I don't know the source material it comes from. It's just the Disney Castle, to me. If you showed me the different castles being discussed here, I'd be really hard-pressed to say whether I knew which was which, or even which one I remembered from the logo. The price is where they'll lose me on this one, no matter where it clocks in. I wouldn't pay $150-200 for a incomplete, insufficient looking model, but neither am I committed enough to the theme/source/company/etc to shell out $400 for an awesome looking model of the Disney castle. As someone who likes drooling over awesome new Lego products, though, I'd rather they go the latter route, just so I can stare for hours online at all the cool details and suffer occasional pangs of envy toward the people who have it. No matter which course they choose, I definitely think it will sell, and I'm looking forward to more details. As for the minifigures. Tinkerbell sounds cool, and would be a big draw. I fear seeing what she'll go for on the secondary market. I'm still not convinced we'll see Goofy or Pluto. Goofy seems like he'd be a better fit for the second wave of Disney CMFs. I can't remember if that's been actually confirmed yet, but it seems pretty confirmed in everyone's minds, right? But Pluto......no idea. He's not even a real planet anymore. EDIT: Oops, forget there were 4 more pages of discussion left before I commented. Sorry if this isn't timely or relevant anymore.
