  1. Sorry, I meant European price increase, not strictly UK. Word on one of the other threads is 3.99. I'm assuming that's Euros?
  2. I believe we've only heard of a UK price increase so far, so we're good. For now. BUM BUM BUUUUUM.
  3. If anyone in the US (or maybe Canada) wants to trade for Lightning Lad, send me a PM. I've got extras. ;)
  4. Well, we still need Saturn Girl somehow...
  5. Damn. That sucks Smoke and mirrors, man.
  6. They ARE legit. TOO legit, in fact. Too legit to quit. (Hey, hey.) Nice work, Sci, these are all pretty wonderful. I would like to see what you come up with when restricted by your own actual bricks, though. I don't know why, but Marty's hoverboard makes me grin from ear to ear.
  7. Huh. I didn't think that at all until you said it. Now I can't unsee it
  8. I just hope there still IS an Arkham set.
  9. Best reason to get Superman: classic John Williams theme plays when you fly. Sure, I guess he's pretty useful, too. A lot of your purchasing decisions will depend on what you want from the game. Are you trying to get 100% completion? Open up all the adventure worlds? Or just have fun and buy what you want? Assuming you're just looking for random fun or useful suggestions: -The Portal level pack is great. I never played the original Portal games, but this definitely made me a fan. GLaDOS is a delightful character that I never would have been aware of otherwise. -The Ghostbusters level pack was quite a bit of fun as well, but this COULD hinge on your appreciation of the franchise. I'm not sure, since I'm a huge fan already. -The Wicked Witch was one of the first characters I got and was really useful due to her flight and silver-brick-explodey ability. Now that all of season one is available, it might not be as useful a purchase, but if you have any fondness for the Oz properties, it's the only way to get that adventure world, which I adore. -The Jurassic Park team pack is/was the only way to cut through vines. I hate it, but I bought it. I consider it a waste of money, but I have every adventure world unlocked, since that's one of my goals. To each his own. -The Doctor Who level pack is amazing. It also opens up a lot of neato Easter eggs thanks to the TARDIS. -The Stay-Puft minifigure is adorable, as long as the scale doesn't bother you. -As a Simpsons fan, I thoroughly enjoyed the level pack. Plus: Flintstones and Jetsons Easter eggs, provided you have the TARDIS. (Or is that in the main Simpsons level? It's been too long...) -If you need a Chima character but don't care about Chima at all, I'd go for Cragger. He's the most useful, I think. Hmm, those are the big ones that jump out at me. Oh yeah, if you're a Scooby Doo fan, that one is also pretty fun. Scooby's "running" animations are hilarious.
  10. RE: Bat-Belt I think it's a really neat piece and will be interesting to see, and I hope to nab a few. That said, I hope it doesn't become a standard for the non-LBM sets. Printed torsos FTW.
  11. Meh, I don't care for him much. Just not my scene. But I have one sealed and available for trade! More people should join Swapfig, hint hint, wink wink. I gotta say, my surprise favorite of the wave is the Cyborg. Not my favorite, that's the mariachi, but I didn't expect to like the Cyborg at all, and I actually do quite a bit!
  12. I don't want to get back on a subject that's clearly over, but Ghostbuster 2016 was an objectively wonderful movie that was amazingly shot, compellingly acted, competently directed, and superbly edited. If you think it was "bad", you're wrong. I mean, it's okay, we're all wrong at some point, that's fine, and it doesn't bother me that people disagree with what are clearly objective facts, but it doesn't change the fact that they're wrong. I still respect everyone's opinion. But back on topic, I like LEGO. This whole post has been an exercise in sarcasm. Enjoy. Hell, I haven't even seen the movie.
  13. RE: Green Arrow I feel like unleashing a string of curse words. I mean, I'm not really upset since I didn't really expect it to happen, but, bleep bleep bleepity bleep, I really want that figure. I absolutely abhor his current LEGO design, but I LOVE his classic* costume. Oh well, maybe later! * Classic, not original, but, hey, I guess that's subjective.
  14. This is also my biggest question!
  15. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!
  16. I forgive you Thanks for confirming Catman, though!
  17. I really want him, so we won't get him As for the new arms, I imagine HawkLord is on point. Like pipe-cleaners, they'll have a poseable wire inside, but instead of fuzzy coating, they'll have a rubbery exterior. That would definitely be my choice. But who knows??
  18. Whoa. I don't even know that guy, but it's obvious he's kidding. The other guy, whom I do know, is always going on about the Wolfpack, so he's just getting his chained yanked a bit. Complete jokery.
  19. Someone said something about new arm-pieces to SIMULATE her stretchiness, but no-one in the know said anything about ACTUAL stretchy arm pieces. That's what I read, anyhow. SOMEONE WHO KNOWS SOMETHING, feel free to correct me.
  20. Will Spider-Man be in any of the sets?
