  1. ROBERT8 SMASH!! Oops, wrong thread
  2. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and far be it from me to argue...but yeah, I loved the Milano And it does fit Groot, provided you use the twig in a pot version So I, personally, have no need for another one. And yet, even on the very last page of this thread, we have proof that, hey, sometimes people miss the wagon. Sure, the Quinjet may have more visible changes with each film iteration, but I don't imagine fidelity to the source material is the main motivation in creating new versions. It's sales. And even though I haven't much interest in another version, it seems like a mistake to have toys on shelves for one of the biggest movies of the season, from the biggest toy manufacturer, and NOT having the single most identifiable vehicle of the franchise. These cycles are much, much shorter/longer (depending on your vantage point) when your target demographic is +/-10 years old. I don't see them making a bigger version anytime soon though. Perhaps, like the Quinjet, they'll remake it as a smaller build in a larger set, rather than its own dedicated set. Maybe it's in one of the two we just learned about from Old Man Logan Sir Gareth? (BTW, thanks for the info @Sir Gareth!) WAIT, WHAT? I didn't realize those were the same people. In my mind, this just increases the likelihood of appearing in the film. WHICH WOULD BE AWESOME.
  3. Oh man, the diamond-shaped "mole" is fantastic! That's a detail I hadn't noticed before!
  4. @Starscream759 I hear ya, mate. I don't think I feel the same way as you do about the film (I saw it, it was okay-ish), but I still don't really wanna drop all of that money on a playthrough of a movie I didn't care about just to access some abilities that are otherwise inaccessible. Speaking of which, my least favorite pack is the Jurassic World one. I had ZERO interest in that movie or pack, but that was the only way to get the vine-cutting ability. Except now Finn can cut vines. D'oh! But hey, if you ever break down and buy it, but can't be bothered to rebuild the portal, just send me the bricks
  5. Kind of annoying, ain't it?
  6. Eh, I wouldn't be too sure about that. There's a certain logic to having ANYONE other than the Ghostbusters, since they're all playable through Abby. I'd wager the likeliest choices are Kevin or Rowan's ghost. But who knows? We still don't have solid proof of the set's existence anyway.
  7. Hm, yes, I think we're all gonna need to know your favorite color, Catanas Arg, that would be so fantastic, but I can't say I've got much hope of it actually happening.
  8. So, are you talking about a Batgirl variant? Hmm....
  9. I saw a picture of the Beetlejuice fig a few weeks ago in one of the promotional images. It was amazing, and I wondered why no one else caught it and mentioned it. Then, just yesterday, I was link-diving and ended up looking at some guy's custom Lego figs, and there it was, the exact same picture of the exact same figure. TL;DR some photoshopper fooled me, damn it.
  10. @CM4Sci Thanks for helping fill out that list! So many fun and weird characters! So many awesome new pieces and recolors! Wheeee! I don't know how I'll possibly be able to get enough of that pink tutu
  11. So now that the image has been confirmed as legitimate, are we allowed to openly discuss it (even though we can't post it or link to it)? I'm going to assume so. The only version of the image I've seen is extremely low-res and hard to make out. Has anyone been able to identify them all? Numbers 9, 13, and 18 are particularly puzzling for me... 1 - Tooth Fairy Batman 2 - ? 3 - Glam Rock/ Kiss-style Batman? 4 - Caveman Batman? 5 - Excalibat (from Dimensions) 6 - Duck Floaty Batman 7 - Chef Disguise Joker 8 - Harleen Quinzel (from Arkham set?) 9 - ? 10 - Barbara Gordon? 11 - Inmate Joker (from Arkham) 12 - Boxing Batman (from Batcave) 13 - ? 14 - Clock King 15 - Red Hood 16 - Orca? 17 - Eraser 18 - ? 19 - March Har(riet) 20 - Catman
  12. Ahh, very interesting. Still don't like the purple pants, but what the hey. Very much looking forward to this movie!
  13. On the whole, I love Morrison. His DP is no exception. I have no opinion (or knowledge) about the rest. I read Quantum and Woody back in the day, but haven't tried the relaunch/reboot/whatever. How was it? Personally, I just finished re-reading the most recent Marvel Darth Vader series, since it just wrapped up. And, in my distaste for the current slate of Marvel comics*, I started re-reading Hickman's Marvel stuff, starting with his Fantastic Four run. *Except for the Vision mini-series by Tom King, which just wrapped up. That was amazing.
  14. It's the same balloon pieces though. I imagine the color will be dictated by whether it's Joker's balloon or Batman's. I'm honestly not sure which one I want more
  15. Maybe this should be in spoiler tags, since the film isn't out everywhere, BUT, are you saying the Ancient One appears dressed like that in the film? That's....strange. *PUN!*
  16. Can someone let me know when we're done talking about Shadow?
  17. I've never played anything past Sonic 2, I think, so I'm ignorant of and ambivalent about most of those peeps, but maaaaaan, I sure would like Tails, for so many reasons.
  18. OH DEAR GOD, THAT BOX IS BEAUTIFUL! Seriously. This will be mine. Everything about it looks wonderful.
  19. Ug, what's with the riddles, can't you just say it plainly?? But seriously, any info or hints about what form we SHOULD expect?
  20. Eh, I disagree. I vastly prefer a hard copy. But hey, to each his own.
  21. Never had that happen, but you should definitely contact LEGO Customer Service. That's just wacky.
  22. No need to disparage hookers, cheap or otherwise. Hookers are people too. I assume.
  23. I hear ya! I downloaded things ahead of time, so that when I came home with my AT packs (all I got so far), I could jump right in. But when I went to load, there was that 10 GB update, plus updates for each additional level I had downloaded. Frustrating, indeed. As for the content, I have mixed feelings. Of course I thought it should have been longer, but I think that of most of them. The adventure world wasn't quite as in depth as I was hoping, either. Like the TARDIS spot. The destination was definitely cool to see, but man, the area was so small, it seemed like a real missed opportunity. I won't complain too much overall though, since I really enjoyed a mash-up of two of my favorite things. The figures are all pretty sweet. I can't wait to build some sort of strange body for Jake. We need Ms. Marvel's new wacky arms in his color. In fact, my only disappointment with the figures are Finn's legs. I appreciate the dual-molding, I really do, but I think it would have looked a bit better if it had been molded in the darker colors with the flesh color printed on top. I know the flesh bit wouldn't look quite as good, but as it is, if you pose him with any space between the legs, the bright base color of the flesh tone is really jarring. Small complaint though to get Adventure Time figs, as I'm a huge fan of the show. I'm getting quite close to hitting 100% for Season 1 content, and I'm looking forward to more of Season 2. Next up is probably Harry Potter and He-Who-Shall-Not-Be-Named..
