  1. If anyone is planning/not planning to pick up the Gingerbread Man promo which starts on the 12th, I have a bit of information which may change your opinion: after seeing them in person, the new Gingerbread Man is a very different color from the original, far more of a dark orange color. It hasn't changed my plan, but it has for a couple friends. One doesn't want it anymore, since it doesn't fit with the others, and another friend now DOES want it, since it's a variant. Anyway. FYI.
  2. That's my reasoning as well. And for kids of a certain age, three years ago may as well have been forever ago.
  3. Nope, mine is gorgeous. Call customer service!
  4. Apparently, lots of people are. The Brick Fan just posted an article about that issue earlier today: http://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-dimensions-adventure-time-marceline-fun-pack-71285-widespread-issues/ It seems to be a widespread issue in the US only.
  5. Hmm. That definitely affects my chances of getting this set. I just wanted long arms for Plastic Man.
  6. That's what I'm sayin'. According to Delta Customs, there's a large summer set that: - has a "big Batmobile that splits into a Batwing, a Batcycle, and still functions as a Batmobile with all of those removed" - "features a big bat signal" - and includes figures of "Batman, Robin, Batgirl, Alfred in a different costume" and "the Wicked Witch and two Flying Monkeys"
  7. Can you post a link in the future? Or the actual information? I don't follow people on Instagram or anything, nor am I interested in doing so. I'm just a member of Eurobricks. I appreciate info as much as the next person, but this site isn't an advert for your Instagram. All due respect. EDIT: Back from Google/Instagram, here's the info: Well, that's interesting. I'm curious about the Oz inclusions, disappointed at the Wicked Witch rehash, since she was so cheap and available in Dimensions, and overjoyed at the possibility of minifig-style Flying Monkeys. Sounds neat! Thanks, @Delta Customs
  8. Ha, that was my first thought, too! But honestly, I don't think it's inappropriate. It fits this thread as much as Buccaneer Batman, save for the branding. I still think TLBM and DC should be grouped together, with DC Girls a separate thread, since the minifigs of the first two are interchangeable. It's the style of fig that makes the difference. But yeah, dead horses and whatnot. Thanks for posting it, Kevii23, even if it technically doesn't go here. And as a PSA for the uninformed, if you're following this thread and not the LEGO Batman thread, well....you might want to start.
  9. Ooooooh, good call. I was liking this suit well enough, but didn't imagine I'd go to the trouble of getting the Activity Book for it. You may have changed my mind though. We shall see. There's already so much stuff I want!
  10. Well that's surprising. Good luck, man.

  11. Mmmmmm, newsy! Thanks Delta and Captain Unicorn, and Wonkyeye1 for posting the info here. Both of those sets sound great so far!
  12. That was the USD equivalent of a foreign currency. No price hike for the US that we know of.
  13. Alrighty then, since everyone else is doing it, here goes: Glam Metal Batman - This guy looks so over the top and ridiculous and awesome. I'm especially glad for a new guitar with printing. If we don't see KISS mods with this guy, I'll eat my hat. I'll have to buy a hat first, but that's okay. Clan of the Cave Batman - My least favorite of the Bat-suits. Still cool. I wish it looked more like the Grant Morrison caveman-era Batman, but that would have be way too complicated. This is neat for what it is. Vacation Batman - So cool. I love everything about this figure. I was looking forward to the bare-chested torso for other uses, but that shirt is so cool that I can't complain. Fairy Batman - As well as being thrilled at getting the tutu in pink, I love everything about this one. Rock on, pink Batman! Lobster-Lovin' Batman - My favorite of the Bat-suits! The body is infinitely reusable, we get a freaking lobster, and I loved this scene in the trailer. This guy is so classy. Also: tomalley! Ha! Catman - Very nice. It's hard to see that cowl as anyone other than Batman, but the use of the short-eared cowl helps with that. Zodiac Master - No idea who this is, but he looks nice. As with a few others in this series, I doubt I'll pass up this opportunity to expand my LEGO Batman's rogues gallery as much as possible. (I'm still not gonna get Killer Croc, though. Maybe one day they'll bring him back as a minifig. Sigh.) Dick Grayson - Decent plain-clothes fleshie. What a lovely sweater Gotta have that Bat-Shark Repellent! I'm also glad to get the hair-and-glasses combo without the green goggle effect. Nurse Harley Quinn - Love the expression, love the hat, love the hair, couldn't care less about the torso/legs. It doesn't look bad, I just don't care about it. Commissioner Gordon - The commish looks wonderful! His printing is simply amazing. Calculator - 07734 might be my favorite random bit from this series. Classic. Not "Batman" classic, but "grade school" classic. Mime - Same as Zodiac Master. Someone mention the mohawk being blue. I thought it was standard black. But in the close-ups, it does seem to have a bluish cast to it. Curious. I'd love it to be dark blue, but I'm not gonna get my hopes up. Orca - This is probably my least favorite fig of the series. She just looks off. I concur with all the "black shark" sentiments. I understand reusing molds, but it doesn't look great. The head is interesting though. If I don't collect all of them, this will be my first cut. Sorry, Orca Arkham Asylum Joker - FANTASTIC. Now I don't have to get the actual Arkham Asylum set in order to get the jumper! This was the main reason I didn't believe the latest leak, but hey, I'm grateful! Red Hood - So cool. I'm insanely glad that he has the Red Hood head under his red hood. There's no way I was going to buy the Dentures of Doom set. Eraser - Again, no idea who this is, but he looks great! And his pencil-tip toe-printing is delightful. Barbara Gordon - Always nice to have more fleshies, and I like her constituent parts. It still doesn't remind me of any Barbara Gordon I know. So much about her is different in this movie, which is cool, but hey, like I said. King Tut - More 66ers are always welcome, and he looks great. Love that expression! March Harriet - See Zodiac Master and Mime. The continued production of rabbit helmets makes me hopeful for a Bunny Suit Guy re-release. Pink Power Batgirl - Whoever linked to the bad Batgirl Halloween costume had it right on the money. It still looks great as a minifigure though! Phew! That's a lot of words. And so few complete sentences! FINAL VERDICT: I'm loving this series. I'll probably end up getting them all. And I'll probably end up getting duplicates of quite a few in order to wipe the parts for monochrome figs. Weeee! I'm disappointed that the Clock King didn't make it through from the preliminary image, but hopefully we'll see him and his ridiculous head before the theme is through.
  14. Well there we go These are all looking very, very nice. I may just end up getting them all. Now the REAL waiting begins!
  15. Yeah, ANOTHER 12 GB update? WTF? I haven't checked on my progress since hearing all of the "lost data" horror stories. Fingers crossed....
  16. Yar, AA videogame versions don't make no sense. As for our new list of 20, none of the sites I've seen it on have any sort of source. I'll believe it when we see pictures, or when one of our insiders confirms it. And @Catanas's "Finally.." doesn't cut it for me.
  17. Wow, really? I would've sworn they had never done that. Very interesting. Off to Brickset to see if I can tell which one! EDIT: It's the Horseback Rider, I believe. Does anyone know if there are other figures with inner-leg printing? It just seems so strange that they would do that for one single solitary figure and never again.
  18. Hmm, surely that must be some sort of oversight
  19. One of the European fellows said we Americans couldn't complain. Can we now??? Darn you, Canada!!!
  20. Thought #1: What the WHAAAAAT? That Flash easter egg is too cool! I have complicated feelings about the CW show, but I've always been a huge Flash fan, and that treadmill bit from the video was awwwwwwwwwwwwesome. Thought #2: Yes, Gizmo's legs are quite disappointing, even more so considering that the pure white ABS looks so different from the white-printing-on-brown ABS. Disappointing. And yet it's still hard to believe that minifigure even exists, so it can't really bother me too much. Even when it does Thought #3: Bought Sonic today. He looks SO AMAZING. Thought #4: The most frustrating part of Year 2 is the insanely large updates. I downloaded all the new levels and whatnot early, so that when I got home from work, after stopping by Wal-Mart to pick up Sonic, I could just sit down and jump right in. But no. Of course there's another update. 12 GB? Oh, okay, I guess I'm not playing AT ALL tonight. Can we please just release the flarking update a day or two earlier, so that I can actually play it when I buy it? Flarkin' a. It's cool, I'm off tomorrow, I'll play it then, but sheesh. Thought #5: The Lantern construct pad is needed to get a minikit, so I guess that confirms the general public will have access to either Supergirl or another Lantern at some point in the future. At least logically. Right?
  21. Ah, gotcha!
  22. But.....there IS one.
