  1. Huh. I haven't had any problems, and I have all of the Story Packs. Weird. And unfortunate.
  2. I have two TRUs near me. TRU A had explicit signage up for this particular promotion, but had nothing but mini-batmobile polybags. So I called TRU B. They had the Batpod, but no idea about the promotion and no idea what to do with them. They were gracious enough to sell me a few, one for me, one for my nephew, and one for a friend. They also rang up for 20% off, as with the rest of the LEGO Batman stuff. Yay. (I'm in the Atlanta area. PM me if you're nearby and would like more info.)
  3. Aww, I hope not. Arthur Parsons seems like such a nice guy, and a real fan of all the properties he's working with. He doesn't deserve that. (But yeah, I DO know what you mean. It's gonna be awkward no matter what.)
  4. Lol, no, just making a dumb joke. It's a neat idea, I guess, but I don't see it happening any time soon.
  5. That was Black Vulcan, a character created as a stand-in for Black Lightning on the Super Friends cartoon. So. Yeah. Pretty much the same.
  6. To be fair, the cover of that costume's debut issue has him billed as Giant-Man. But yeah, I guess he adopts the Goliath persona in that issue too. Freakin' Hank Pym. That guy has issues.
  7. EDIT: I should've finished reading the thread before posting. Sure it's probably pointless to discuss it, but Genie's head DOES have a hole in it, which fits a mini-pin, since he has a feather piece attached. So as long as this hypothetical mohawk had a mini-pin (unlike the actual mohawk made for GotG2 Yondu), it would be spot-on. But none of that matters now. We're getting Goliath/Giant-Man. My biggest complaint with all of this is how prominent Spidey 2099 is in all of the art. It's like they're purposefully tormenting me by not giving us that figure. Sadface.
  8. Ooh, I was gonna go for 18. Maybe I have a problem?
  9. You're definitely setting yourself up for disappointment.
  10. When and where did this happen?
  11. That's my plan, too. It's too bad Raven didn't come as a Fun Pack, since she's the only one I care about. Ohhhh well.
  12. CONDIMENT KING FTW! So psyched about that! It's also nice that we keep getting more Batman '66 villains. Gotta love Vincent Price.
  13. This is definitely along the lines of what I was thinking. The yellow ones have too much yellow, the green ones have too much green, but there's a winning combination in there somewhere.
  14. Ah, the new "Mr. Gold"-style super-rare figure. Lol.
  15. WTF? That's not cool... Fingers crossed it's just an error that's fixed before it goes on sale!
  16. Oh come on, man, that's just cruel. OF COURSE I watched it.
  17. Oh, HELL no. That's just disappointing. Thanks for the heads-up though.....I guess....
  18. "What did I tell you about 'yeppers'?" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oLdFFD8II8U What's odd is that Goliath would look a hundred times better if he had the new blue and yellow dual-molded legs from the Fun at the Beach set. Truly, it's all a matter of opinion though. Silver Centurion was surely one of the most detailed and well-done figures ever, but I don't care much about MCU Iron Man variants. I would easily have preferred a less-detailed, comic-styled figure instead. All that said, I can't imagine anyone was clamoring for Goliath. Odd, indeed.
  19. Huh. That guy sure likes to kick people in the head. Okay, then.
  20. Whaaaaat??? You saw the WW set at a LEGO Store? Do your LEGO Stores get other stores' exclusives? Because over here, we generally don't anymore. It's frustrating. It's good to know some people do, though. I'm still hopeful for a change in that policy...
  21. Maybe they finally decided to give us a Marvel Character Encyclopedia? I highly doubt it, but hey, I can hope. (Ugh, man, I really do want a Marvel Character Encyclopedia. Those are the only books I enjoy as much as the exclusive minifigures.)
  22. Arg. It didn't until you said something about it. Not too big a deal though. The rest of the ship looks neat enough, and John looks awesome. Of course, I agree that it could use dual-molded legs, but it's not a deal-breaker. I'm very curious to see the price. Did I just not notice it? EDIT: 17.99 pounds. Now for the US price... EDIT 2: $24.99 US, currently available for pre-order for $16.50. It does come with the parts to build the spaceship.
  23. On the LEGO Store calendar for May, there's no mention of early VIP access for anything new. There's an early access set listed on the June calendar, but that's for the 15th, so it isn't the carousel. My guess is: don't expect early VIP access. But hey, I've been wrong before.
