  1. Eh, I dunno. I completely disagree. I love the stylized heads on traditional minifigure bodies. Love, love, love. The Simpsons, E.T., the Powerpuff Girls, the Mogwai and Gremlins, the Disney CMF figures, etc. Something about it genuinely appeals to me. To each their own, I suppose. So yeah, I think Buttercup looks awesome, and I can't wait to see the rest of them.
  2. You're definitely not the first person to have that idea! Here's a link to a post a saw a while back. They are available to purchase, or you can just check them out for your own ideas. As for me, yeah, I haven't really built the mini-builds for in-game use since Year 2 began. They mostly go straight into my parts bins nowadays, unless I particularly like a build. For the game, though, I just keep a couple of blank tags nearby and save whatever vehicle/accessory/mini-build I need, when I need it. As long as I have the character tags at-hand, everything's just peachy.
  3. Ultimate as in "final", perhaps?
  4. Huh. I thought for sure that I had seen this, and that you had overlooked it somehow. But I'll be damned, I can't figure it out either. Can a moderator shed some light on this, or pop in to direct us to the proper place to find an answer? Pretty please? EDIT: Well, that was easy enough to find. At the top right of the page, where your profile picture is displayed, click your name, then choose "account settings". Signature options are there. Thanks to @Retrobrick83 and @JJ2.
  5. Let's all remember this exact quote. You know, for later. So we can all laugh.
  6. I was thinking about this earlier today. I wonder if we all might be disappointed in it. Once you allot room for the minifigure, there's not a whole lot of room left for anti-studs...
  7. Hmm. I dunno, man, that looks pretty badass to me!
  8. That's actually the plan for Series 20. Shhh. Don't tell anyone. /joke
  9. Yeah, Brickseek can be... unreliable. Frustratingly so, sometimes.
  10. There are also those lovely times when they are told to go ahead and put them out for sale, for whatever reason. You should call. At least when you call the LEGO Store though, you're more likely to get an accurate appraisal of the situation, with minimal hassle.
  11. Umm, no, apparently we do not ALL remember Gandalf Ant-Man. *jumps over to Google* Oh my goodness. That's hilarious. I'd like to officially cast my vote for Gandalf Vulture.
  12. Heck, I don't even count Bumblebee. Viva la minifigures! But to each his own, of course. Thanks, but "sir" was my father's name.
  13. Mmmmmmm, I can't wait! The anticipation is gonna make my head burst into flames!
  14. What? I didn't know Fake Tom Hardy was in this movie! I think perhaps your earlier statement should have been phrased differently. You made it seem as if you had information that others may not be privy to. Just because we can see flesh does not make that Adrian Toomes underneath. That could be an angry Clonetrooper for all we know. I certainly don't know. As for the Shocker-talk, I feel ambivalent, mostly. I had hoped this figure would feature a more elaborate, more evolved costume, one closer to his comic costume, and that THAT was the reason for the secrecy. But no, it's based on the already-glimpsed costume from the trailer. And, for what it is, it looks fine. But it isn't quite as satisfying as my imagination wanted it to be. I'll probably still get the set. The end.
  15. RE: Beetlejuice I saw a custom figure a few months ago. It had a purplish shirt under his signature jacket. The little bit of color helped break up the white, and I think something like that would have helped here. I can't pass on the figure, because we'll never get it again, but I do feel it is a bit lacking somehow.
  16. The Kiss Kiss Tuxedo Batman keychain was released, in the US, with the movie, as part of a Cinemark promotion. They aren't an omnipresent movie chain, though, and the closest one for most people was not particularly near. Here's a link: http://www.thebrickfan.com/the-lego-batman-movie-kiss-kiss-tuxedo-batman-5004928-cinemark-promotion/ As for the Battle Pod link, here's one that won't change based on which page it's on at the time : http://www.thebrickfan.com/the-lego-batman-movie-batman-battle-pod-5004929-coming-to-legoland-california/
  17. It certainly seems like I'm implying that.
  18. The rumor is that Disney Series 2 will not be happening in 2018. No one can really say anything about after that. No one knows. And the LEGO Dimensions rumor isn't necessarily a "fake" rumor, it's an unconfirmed rumor. Though it seems to have a lot of weight. Try to not overreact to this. It will all be alright.
  19. If I'm remembering correctly, you will not get a FEW Parademons. You will get a COUPLE though. Agreed, it does look like a revised helmet. Interesting. As for John Stewart, like you, I am anxiously waiting to find out how we can get him. Like others have said, I'm expecting him to be included with a blu-ray. (Though I have no actual information)
  20. Yeah, it's pretty ugly out there sometimes.
  21. Nope, not pranking. Maybe later? (NOTE TO ALL: I don't find lying about rumors and info to be particularly fun, so that ain't gonna happen from me. Except for that one figure you all wanted. WE'RE TOTALLY GETTING THAT ) I dunno, I'm feeling pretty hungry. I think I could eat a whole cake. One of those big tiered cakes. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Cake.
  22. "Costume party" seems as if it might have specific connotations for people. To clarify, the term "party" was only introduced in order to steer someone to "costumes". What kind? All kinds.
  23. Delta's info about the LEGO Batman Movie Ultimate Batmoblile set was completely detailed and spot-on, but he still missed Polka-Dot Man. My only point is: who knows? (I don't.)
