  1. Super super impressive, and the original MOC you did is also very very good. So many changes and tweaks its hard to actually see them all in the first read of the list and browse of the pics - second and third pass required to fully appreciate all the great work on this baby. I did my RZ in full on metallic silver so before now I have seen other RZ mocs/mods and gone meh not for me - but this, this could make me change my mind - bet that bright light orange/yellow would really pop!
  2. Looking so much better now - I have applied both changes and also trying a further small tweak - straight swapping the 6179 / tile with studs for a pair of 4x4 tiles or swapping out for 2 2x6 tiles plus a 1x4 across - so far I have one half of the nose using the 4s and one using the 6s
  3. Sounds good - I have your A-wing on one side of the room and this on the other - look forward to seeing the sharper 75275
  4. Looks super sweet - subtle but very effective. So is that a Wedge 5 x 2 and a Slope 10 6 x 1 at the front and then a 3 x 3 slope wedge and 1x3 brick? Did you tweak the internals as well as I think there is only studs for the outermost wedges and no studs for the inside x 1s or am I miss remembering?
  5. Noice, very very noice. So much white but it makes it work and it looks awesome - really great job - defo going into the top 3 of my builds for 26.
  6. https://rebrickable.com/mocs/?q=Barad-dûr has a number of "backs" but they seem to recommend not using two sets as you need more rock at the back so the usage from the second set is in the 25% range.
  7. I've ordered in from BL parts to swap out the brown/tans from the lower tiers for black (ditto any plates of LBG etc for black), parts to change the large LBG rock elements for smaller slope/wedges in DBG. and used the instructions to be able to add in and extend the tower at a few points. I did a mix on the TofO of extending the existing floors (its amazing how adding even a brick or twos height to each of the existing levels keeps the look but add up height overall) and adding new one floors, but for now Ill look to extend the tower about half a floor or so first up.
  8. My Orthanc is now at 52 inches tall....my 10333 plan is to do a new base (https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-187734/Tigerton_bricks/base-extension-for-barad-dur-10333/?sort_parts_by=4&sort_parts_dir=D#details), replace the brown/grey in the lower sections and then add height in the central tower with some grebbeling on the outside for now. If someone creates a good new section idea I might then put that in. I had not long finished a Barad-dur MOC (talk about bad timing but I only got the final bricks in March....hey ho) https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-126262/mielus/lotr-barad-dur/#details So Ill probably move the lava and walkway I added to the MOC over to the official set
  9. Or to provide a matching "half" to close the set into a full castle - some people did that back in the day with the TofO.
  10. Worth a try calling customer services.
  11. https://brickset.com/article/110497/get-ready-for-the-june-releases#comments "The new sets and products page at LEGO.com will be updated once they are all available, usually at midnight local time, and shortly afterwards our buy listings will be updated as well"
  12. UK order just placed, had 2 brower sessions open both queued, the second later one I opened connected first - order placed and Fellbeast GWP added....email received from lego so happy lad. Have you managed to order? fingers crossed for you - I find the Lego website so hit and miss at times like this.
  13. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemInv.asp?S=7190-1 Bricklink has the full inventory for the set here.
  14. Welcome to Eurobricks! PM sent to you - you may find some limts on your account as a newbie (check the new member FAQs). Nope no difference at all that I have noticed.
  15. Yup expensive and nope not many! PM'd - yup echo your comments on parts and sellers, throw in the odd lego part and it helps with the shading and patina and keeps costs down.
  16. Yup I found that's the best balance between a realistic finish similar to Lego's own drum lacquered parts and it being non destructive and removable if you so desire. I can drop you a pm if you want more details to avoid upsetting anyone in this thread.
  17. Some other awesome sets also being sold by that seller, more of the Starbricks series plus some of Anio's.
  18. Never really wanted a lego Neb B until now, this is a real beauty, large without being so big I could not find room for it, detailed without being so much it's a organ donation to get the parts - great job, looks awesome and I now have my 2023 "biggie" sorted I think.
  19. Looking mighty sweet, the proportions look great, might be another purchase of your great builds - and I have all those spare silver parts ready for something shiny....
  20. Just sold mine - by all means drop me a pm.
  21. Noice very noice/
  22. Nice I like this - clean with a nice balance of some studs but not too many. I'm thinking a dark blue / orange version would really pop....non canon but hey....
  23. Book, unused stickers and Blue Squadron tile still available. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/165749629937 If any EB members want to contact me directing to buy away from ebay and avoid the fees we can discuss a lower price - drop me a pm.
  24. Ah with you now - thanks - great looking beast regardless.
  25. Uber cool, especially the sand blue colour scheme - but what's the Star Wars reference?
