Uber cool, especially the sand blue colour scheme - but what's the Star Wars reference?
-
First BL order of BLO parts arrived and so far looking very good I have to admit - I was a bit sceptical but you can see from the remaining tan parts that it does make a positive difference. Now I have to wait for the final parts to arrive for the remaining tan replacements then sort out that nose alignment.....
-
Fab thanks muchly - orders placed.
-
That would be most welcome - I was just looking at Jeracs RC wanted list which I kept to see what parts would be ordering in BLO.
-
Be interested to see how this turns out. As my RZ is all shades of silver I wonder if it will make the BLO pop and look awesome, or be too much....hmmm

https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-99932/azanderk/din-djarins-n-1-starfighter/#details Highly recommended.

No worries.. As I said, I have the MOC and the parts list - its just over £510 including the stand, the rare parts and not parting the first RZ - given the current exchange rate from a UK view that's about $565..
-
May I ask if you have Jerac's part list to get to that cost? I'm surprised at that given the US is usually cheaper than the UK with a far larger number of parts and sellers on BL. I have the MOC and still have the BL XML wanted list - if you just run straight as it without any messing/fiddling/an not using Lego parts service its (with stand) £511.91p on 9 orders (new/used) - so P&P of course to add. Its a lot less if your willing to part your 75292 in as that gives you some of the more expensive parts like the canopy and the two carbonite "figure" parts (they are £47 alone for the three). So to me its a good place to be as a customer - you have a number of options and can pick which you like best, mine is a lovely metallic silver, landing gear up and I'm very happy with it. If you not interested in the sourcing of parts, want a pure UCS set with what that offers - great you now have a cool looking set from Lego. Everyone can have the RZ they want.

[MOC] Midi-scale Naboo and Mandalorian N-1 Starfighters

I went down the Plasti-kote path for Jeracs RZ and Azanderk's N1 - same problem with the light/sun and taking pics - half light or indirect sunlight is your friend in being able to see your shiny silver N1. (https://bricksafe.com/pages/hold0511/jeracs-razor-crest - you would not believe its the same ship...). If you get a chance to do some more pics that can show off your paint scheme that would be great to see - I love seeing the different N1s and how the panels all work out.- 14 replies

Seems late doesn't it - maybe giving lots of media and fan oxygen for Andor? After all they need to keep Disney happy. -

Second that all the way - I now think back to the X-wing/Y-wing UCS days compared to the current and recent sets - yes they are great builds and look amazing, but I just can not spend that much.....as my Jerac RZ is lovely and metallic its a bit easier to pass on the official set (plus being display only I'm less bothered about interiors that can not be seen). -
Yup second that - it looks good, but Jerac's silver beast will remain in prime position on my shelf. Might steal the instructions for the Blurg and see if its better that the ones I have.

[MOC] Minifig Scale UT-60D U-Wing Starfighter
Hold0511 replied to azanderk's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I can highly recommend this MOC - almost built mine and once Lego sends me the last batch of corners and door rail plates it will be finished and on display - the dark blue looks cracking in real life and really pops against the white. -
Ship has now gone, Manual, unused stickers, blue tile etc still available.
-
Sounds like my old instructor - shoulders back, head and back straight, arms slightly bent and you can stand all day on the parade ground....
-
As I've got Jerac's already in metallic silver - any official Lego UCS is going to have to be so amazing to be considered....and it's not often Lego do actually make a set that's as good as the best MOCs like this one.
-
Yup same here with trying and not landing on the various engine mods - I ended up simply adding wedges to the clips to give it a little more shape.
-
The mods look great - awesome job. Always interested in good engine nacelle front changes - if your willing to share as Jerac asks then I'd even redo the shiny beast's nacelles for that look. Time to bust out the spare metallic pieces......

SB00301 B-PROJECT (MOC Resistance Bomber UCS)
Hold0511 replied to StarBricks's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Yup min buys can sting you, plus some BL shops have minimum average price per lots or sell parts in lots of "x" and x can be sometimes 10 up to 100....always worth doing some cart reviewing manually. -

Hi William_Marshall - welcome to EB! As a fellow UK'er my thoughts on your questions 1 and 2 having started in the same place as yourself a few years ago; 1. Used parts are normally ok, unless your building a white model (its usually the first colour to fade somewhat) and don't mind some minor scuffs etc. Most BL sellers list anything significantly marking pieces they sell, and as you say you can always use them to their "best side". I only buy new parts if I absolutely need pristine finish (e.g. a new white model), want to be sure any transparent parts are in good shape or for recent parts not available in sufficient used quantities. 2. If you leave the carts created from the first auto create and then re-run it, it will not empty the first carts so then looks for the parts with the remaining sellers (ignoring the sellers and parts from round 1 which the system things are being bought and hence not available), hence a different outcome in terms of shops and price. In effect by re-running it the second time, your excluding the first pick of sellers, likewise if you run it a third time without clearing out the 1st and 2nd you then are trying to find the parts from yet another selection now without the 1st and 2nd set of sellers. Hope that makes sense. Best to re-do any wanted list / auto create cards and always check you have emptied existing carts. Whilst I do use the Wanted List and auto select feature I ways manually check the carts and do tinker about with them to make the fit better on minimum buy limits, P&P etc, it's not always major changes but can prove beneficial especially for larger orders. Not bought this MOC so can't comment on 3 and 4 which I will leave to others. Best of luck - great idea on 4 - plus it makes it your own version. PS - people are very supportive and patient on EB so don't worry about asking for help - once you hit 10 posts you can PM (I think its 10) so by all means reach out if you ever need to ask anything. -
Compared to that mine will be a bargain.....but if it sold at that price wow oh wow....

Hi all. Well its a bit like buses as we say in the UK, another member selling off a lot of my Star Wars sets starting with my Starbricks U-Project - SB00101, built with new and used lego parts, original manual, unused stickers and the blue squadron tile. I bought a custom U-wing UCS style sticker as well to save using the Mirko one, Going to put my sets onto ebay but happy to give any EB member first shout. PM me if your interested and if you want any more information. Pics are on my Bricksafe link I'll aim to then get all my SW lego sets up onto Ebay later this week..
