  1. Thanks for the tip! Aaaand another TrU without any Bricktober sets...
  2. Wheaties
  3. Shoot. I'm re-looking at some of the pictures on S@H, and it looks like you're right. Infernal lips! The connection possibility with dome pieces is intriguing, however. Thanks for the help!
  4. Welcome Quentin! Can't wait to see all of your undoubtedly lovely MOCs!
  5. Loooking at reecent activity, me hackles have been raised at the actions oof Mr. Schram. He loooks to be quite th' wishy-washy laddie, seearching oot every opportoonity t' divehrt attention away from hisself (as mister Heinz has so illoostriously pointed oot). He be playing th' ol' "Th' Indian cook voted against me, time fer a reevenge voote in order t' deeflect soospicion away from me" card in our little game o' Go-Fish we have goht oorselves heere. Be I jumpin' on the bandwagon? Be there even a bandwagon yet? I cannot say for certain, boot I cahn say 'at the Zodiac be in th' phase where a fish is joost as likely to mate with a bear as 'tis with a great horned owl. Premoonitions? Ouija? Ye need not fear how I communicate with th' pizza spirits of old, boot know this for a certain: there be a gummy bear among us. Unvote: Jasper Heinz (Piratedave84)
  6. Here's a topic of his: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=111136.
  7. This is soooo tasty! Nifty use of the Space Miner CMF. The inverted brick separators at the front really give a nice angled look in conjunction with that canopy. I love the little ladder to the top, and it's cool there's an area for the miners up there. My favorite part has to be the little hover robot dude, he's absolutely ace! @Bob: The 1x4 tile with black diagonal striping? That's certainly one of my dream parts!
  8. Interesting. Too futuristic for steampunk, but the use of gunpowder weapons precludes the possibility of this being the far future. A puzzling amalgamation, but I like it!
  9. A Valerian and Laureline MOC! I never thought I'd see the day! This is an excellent representation of the Astroship. Francophone sci-fi comics are the stuff (and Francophone comics in general- looking at you, Tintin!). Are you familiar with Yoko Tsuno?
  10. Limited number giveaway? I don't know about that. Markus, the creator of that SSD, has a Eurobricks account. Maybe you could PM him?
  11. A question for those of you with the 2016 sets: Are you able to connect two of the dragon egg bottoms (the one with anti-studs) together? Thus resulting in an egg with two connection points, like the Galaxy Squad alien cocoons: https://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=11598c01&idColor=51#T=P&C=51?
  12. That new Benny ship... it's a strange amalgamation of Technic panels, Bionicle Bohrok, newer curved slopes, and parts from various eras of classic space. Overall, it's weird. But it will only be seen in a LEGOLAND attraction, so no biggie. Thanks for compiling all those part pics, Orange Leader! All of the new pieces in trans red-orange are screaming for Neo-Ice Planet 2002 MOCs. The Elves dragon eggs seemed promising at first, but the realization that only one half of the egg had connection points (unlike the Galaxy Squad alien cocoons) killed them for me. The City Volcano Explorers theme will be particularly interesting, but I don't know what I'll use all that lime green for! However, it's a shame the rebreathers in that theme are only the same-ol' firefighter ones.
  13. Unique looking ship you've got there! The use of the triangular road signs as landing pads is 100% certified ACE!
  14. Always love seeing your renders, Sunder! I can see this ship slowly cruising through a stellar debris field, picking up useful junk with those robotic arms. Love this!
  15. I haven't been a member for a year yet, so I don't qualify for the Theme Fan tag, but what's the deal with the Death Star II tag?
  16. . Understandably,
  17. It's got the Imperial technician in an easy-to-get set with the new black cap, which is perfect for making ISB figs and giving Juno Eclipse a hat. The Shock Stormtrooper is absolutely stellar. Though the Stormtroopers are horribly disfigured, there is this: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=118757, which is what I am doing. I don't know where you stand on the whole Rebels Stormies vs. 75055 Stormies (http://brickset.com/...ue-Helmet-Vents) thing, but many here prefer the more movie-accurate look of the 75055 stormies over the cartoonish Rebels ones. (Not saying you should! Like you said, "To each their own".)
  18. Forget Bricklink- the Empire BPs are my crack!
  19. "Pizza boy"?!? Ah preefer th' term "Mustachio-ed Pizza Man-Child"! Boot if yah're gooing to call me soomething, it betta be "Crepuscular Polyethylene Nightwolf"! Mr. Schram, ah sympathize coompletely with yahr reticence to lynch an innoocent. Hoowevah, 'tis a dirty deed 'at must be doone. Too tawp it oof, there be little in th' way of eevidence as too whoo th' foxes in th' henhoose be. Too this eefect, ah have made a deecision. Based on the forensic eevidence, inclooding greasy fingerprints foond on me pizza last night, a desiccated Styrofoam cup I foond in th' Ladies room last night, a swordfish-bear hybrid I encoontered several weeks agoo, an' an innumerable amoont oof astral plane distortions on this flying barge, I: Vote: Jasper Heinz (Piratedave84) Oonly an agent oof HYDRA woold seek to eeliminate th' visooally-impaired!
  20. I heartily agree with you, Blondie-Wan. This set was really the highlight of that original Episode 3 wave for 8-year-old me (and moern me). It's actually a pretty fair AT-RT- I personally think it's better than the most recent AT-RT, 75002 (http://brickset.com/sets/75002-1/AT-RT). 75002 is grossly oversized and disproportionate. This set is as well, but less so. And yes, that printed element is to die for! Sometimes I pine for those simpler days of Lego (and Star Wars). Before the advent of over-printed minifigs and the loss of alternates. Before TCW ruined clones for me. Yeah, those are the same three things everyone here in the Star Wars forum rag on. Jeez, now I'm in a sappy nostalgic mood. But it's an oh so wonderful mood... I'm gonna go build something exclusively with 2x2 and 2x4 bricks...
