As it stands right now, this is probably a must-buy for me. Insanely awesome that this got approved! I'll see how I stand after I see the final product.

This knocks my socks off. Not only does it look incredible on it's own, but it matches the aesthetic of existing fairground sets, which is no small feat. Much love!

IDEAS 21308 Adventure Time Figures Discussion
Junior Shark replied to CM4Sci's topic in LEGO Licensed
I think the possibility of future Adventure Time sets is the most intriguing aspect of this. Brick-built figures? Eh. -

Hmmm... The Song Remains The Same?

So no episode this week? What a bummer. Rebels will return on March 16, with the episode "The Forgotten Droid". Here's a preview: . Should be pretty pedestrian.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Junior Shark replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I think it's A-wing like "A" wing- only one wing. A brand new type of starfighter in Rogue One, perhaps? -
Yes, you lowered the droid. But it still looks just as ridiculous, IMO. With this method you need to add bulk to the rest of the wings to even it out. I would recommend raising the droid up by one plate then bulking up the wings. Alternatively, you could just forego the astromech body and just put the head on the wing. The Lego astromech is too big and the Lego Interceptor is too small. Together they make an unholy mix. The best MOCs of the interceptor forego the astromech body:

SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 1
Junior Shark replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sheesh can noobody catch a break here? Ah can smell th' obsession throogh th' screen. I believe that it is th' stealthy HYDRA agents y' have too watch oot fer. In this case, Schram has doone a right croomy job oof that. SHIELD oor not, he does not smell 100% Kosher. Boot what aboot th' HYDRA agents who are incredibly stealthy? I call attention too thoose who have successfully flown underneath everyone's radars: Ms. Coleman, Mr. Leffel and Ms. Turner. Their inactivity is moore soospicious than anythin' posted here (barring Mr. Schram's actions). [Yes, I realize there are real world commitments.] Ironic, since you are th' most recent person to joomp on a bandwagon. If Igneous was 1, and Metamorphic was 10, ah'd rate yoor scoominess at a solid Sedimentary. An' that bandwaggonin' yoo so despise? If Azure was 1, and Turquoise was 10, ah'd rate your bandwaggonin' at a solid Umber. -

What should or should not be on Lego Ideas?
Junior Shark replied to Wodanis's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The only problem I see with that is that some people post their MOCs on here, but have a "Please support on Ideas" as an afterthought. When it's done that way, I really don't mind. I know I would've missed out on some cool (but not likely to become an Ideas set) MOCs if there was an [iDEAS] tag. But I definitely despise those who have only one or two posts, all of which are dedicated to solely garnering support for their "project" on Ideas. From what I've seen, Moderators usually deal with those posts/users promptly, thus negating the need for a separate [iDEAS] tag, IMO. -

Done! Will you be posting the results of the survey eventually? -

Oooh doggy, we've got ourselves some killer Blacktron MOCs here! My favorites have to be the Ripper, Stone Crow, and Sprinter. The Ripper is exquisite, the integration of vintage System and contemporary CCBS knocks my socks off. It feels very sleek, robotic, and menacing, perfect for those dastardly Blacktron goons! And what's the right way to drive an evil robot gun dog? With a mug of hot cocoa in your hands, or course. The Stone Crow and Courier feel very Star Wars-y, obviously, but they're not tied down by that comparison. The Stone Crow's rear center of gravity thanks to that big ol' booty gives it a powerful aura. I luurv the Courier's rear flatbed and mosquito proboscis.

Diggin' these. Everything Classic Space is really meant to be a spaceship, isn't it? It's those dang rovers and buildings that are the alt builds.
-
They are all so exquisitely sublime... it's hard to pick a favorite! I recommend viewing these and reading the story while listening to some ambient electronica or the Interstellar soundtrack. (Space organ FTW!)
-
The fusion of old and new parts really speaks to me. It's a futuristic/ sci-fi design, but still believable. Much love!
-
Nice shaping on this! Looking at the ship from above, I only see a dinosaur footprint. But I still love this!

What should or should not be on Lego Ideas?
Junior Shark replied to Wodanis's topic in General LEGO Discussion
That's really how I feel about Ideas. It just take too long for me to find anything worth supporting on Ideas. There's too many projects built by people with too much time on their hands, too much LDD, too little skill, and too little self-esteem. This is an Idea: (https://ideas.lego.com/projects/126634) It's fun, original, would cater to Lego fans young and old, not too out-there, not self-aggrandizing, and would fit the price range of an Ideas set. This is not an Idea (it's not even an idea, really): (https://ideas.lego.com/projects/124609) It's like a creature from the Black Lagoon, the Black Lagoon in this case being a 12-year old's pre-2004 Brickshelf folder. It serves no other purpose than to stroke the builder's (clicker? It's LDD...) ego, which could just as easily be done if he posted it to Flickr. -
SHIELD vs. HYDRA Mafia - Day 1
Junior Shark replied to mediumsnowman's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Th' key woord being "almost", laddie. Th' phrase ah would replace "almost" with woold be "maybe sorta probably ah doon't really knoow aythin' if 1 were Snowy Owl and 10 were Barn Owl ah woold rate your potential scoominess at a solid Burrowing Owl." Ah hope ah'm gettin' me point across here. Need ah spell oot everything? Ah voted on Jasper based on his then-fresh actions. In th' light of more recent action, th' possibility of him beeing HYDRA has diminished in m' eyes. Is 'at th' way this works, every working o' me mind's steam-powered dishwasher is laid bare before th' world? (By th' way, happy birthday, dishwasher!) Yoo are right in 'at post being a "springboard" post. With th' vindication of m' initial suspect, ah must wait until another one preesents him or her-self. And yes, at th' moment, Steven Schram be at the top o' me very short list of suspects (okay, so he be th' only suspect at th' moment). Is it so wrong to want to avoid a bandwagon? In this case, ah think the bandwagon is very understandable (yoo even are a part of 'at bandwagon). Hoowevah, time is upon me. Ah am faced with a decision to make. Like me pioneer ancestors of old, who trekked across th' Great White North, ah must find a bandwagon to hop on to so that ah may survive. Vote: Steven Schram (Khscarymovie4) -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Junior Shark replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Dreaming about Lego? That's when you know you're too far gone. Don't worry, I've had those dreams too! That Y-wing microfighter (thing) looks so cool! It pretty much kills our chances of getting a regular Y-Wing microfighter with an exclusive figure, though. The parts in it are incredible! Okay, one part. Sooooo many white telescopes!
