I'm not familiar with those power functions, there's many of them in Lego Shop website, is there going to be some official instructions what PF stuff you need to buy and how to build it?

I really don't like the colors in this, especially in the locomotive. The random combination of black, bright red and bright green is just too striking contrast for my taste. The Constitution Train has similar design, but the colors make it look so much better than this. Maybe using some darker green/red/brown/grey would had made it look less childish, now it colorwise looks very old-fashioned Lego design and not in a good way.

I hope it's not too large, so that it fits to the Winter Village buildings' scale, which is rather small.

So now that we probably know the contents of waves 6 & 7, what packs you're going to get? I'm definitely going to buy both story packs, MI level pack, Sonic level pack, E.T fun pack & Gremlins team pack. Harry Potter team pack maybe later at discount.

One movie storyline probably isn't enough to make a full separate game and this reboot is probably too risky to put full effort in creating brand new additional story and scene content (like SW7).

I have bought only level packs so far, except Simpsons Fun Pack. I think the fun packs and team packs don't bring enough content to the game itself. Ghostbusters Story Pack is a must have for me and so is the Mission Impossible Level Pack (although that car looks bland). Harry Potter as a theme is interesting, but I would have preferred HP Level Pack - probably not going to happen, because the main character is in the team pack? Not familiar with Adventure Time or A-team.

This is my favorite in the Lego world buildings. The building itself fits perfectly to be a Lego model, and Jamie with his team did a fantastic job designing this. I really would like to buy this, too bad that it's so large and I don't have a proper place to display it... maybe I have to buy it anyway, hah!

Do you think TLC should stick to the current price range (even if it means smaller buildings like BB) or should they increase the price and release a bigger old modular size buildings with interior details like in the latest modulars? -
Do you think the Big Bang Theory set Lego shop@home sale will come to Europe? Or does US often have exclusive sales? I'd like to get it, but the current EU price is too much.

If you plan to get all of them eventually, then get the oldest now (Pet Shop) before it gets retired. If you're not planning to get all of them, then I'd say get Parisian Restaurant... for me it's the best Lego set ever and it also works very well as a separate display set without other modulars.

I think the Disney/Star Wars issue isn't that black and white. Most of the Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars sets were released last year, so the Star Wars theme could be available for Lego Dimensions later, for example late this year, when it's not competing so directly anymore with Disney Infinity 3.0.

Thanks, however I meant that is there a way to browse all the available hair/wig pieces without searching them one by one. I'd like to get more civilian minifigures to my modular street, and I don't care that much what exact parts they have. -

That's interesting point, a big majority of Dimensions characters are male. I'm not sure about all those Ninjago & Chima characters, but there's 4 females in Wave 1 (Chell, Wonder Woman, Eris, Wicked Witch) and one in Wave 2 (Unikitty). 5 females, 36 males (waves 1-5).

I don't know how well hospital would fit to the modular series, because usually hospitals are large and separate buildings.

I think all the unannounced packs will be brand new themes, no more additional stuff to the current themes.

How about some LEGO retro themed packs and game content? Lego Classics City, Lego Classics Castle & Lego Classics Space? The in-game content could include actual sets from 80's & 90's.

Does anyone know if Lego Dimensions is more "limited" release than Disney Infinity or Skylanders, for example? I mean that in Finland it's only available in few international electronics & toys chains, but not in the local Finnish retail stores, which sell maybe 80-90% of toys here. Other Lego products are sold basically everywhere, and Disney Infinity & Skylanders are widely available as well.

Some older modulars are available at somewhat reasonable prices, but the first three (CC, MS, GG) are so expensive that it doesn't really make any sense to buy them at those prices - in my opinion. I bought Fire Brigade last year for about 2.3x original price, which was expensive but not "stupidly" so - it's my second favorite modular (after PR) so it was worth it and I haven't regretted buying it. I've given up the idea of purchasing the first three modulars, but luckily I don't even like Green Grocer that much and I hate Market Street. CC would be nice, but definitely not worth the price.

Android's Dungeon is doable, iconic and quite regularly visited in the Simpsons episodes.

Maybe the problem with the Brick Bank is that the design is "grand" but the size isn't. PR and DO had design that fitted better to the smaller size. However, overall I like these newer & more detailed buildings more than the older bigger ones, but I hope that the modulars won't get smaller than BB in the future.

I'd love to get one good display piece set, for example Indy's office (Big Bang Theory set style).
