I have few big sets on my shopping list and no hurry to buy them, but of course I'd like to buy them all when they're available from the Lego online store. What order should I buy them? * Old Fishing Store * Ninjago City * Ninjago Destiny's Bounty * Assembly Square * Upcoming winter village set ... I guess Assembly Square is the most 'safe' set to buy later, because modulars are usually available for many years. Old Fishing Store is probably the most uncertain, some of those Ideas sets have retired quite fast. What do you think?

I'm not saying that I'm happy if it's ending, but it has been a good journey with a good game and lots of different additional content and licenses. I guess the hype is slowing down, so it could be difficult to sell enough content for season 3 to be profitable.

I have the same issue. Even after downloading the updated content, the game still says that there's update available. I even tried deleting the old content and then downloaded the new version, but the same issue exists.

It's super-cute and lovely set, but I think I'll display it without the balloon... it doesn't look right there.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion

Do you think the Joker Notorious Lowrider and Penguin Arctic Roller will look sizewise out of place next to the modular buildings? They are quite large, but are they too large? -
I really like the London & Sydney sets! In my opinion some of these skyline sets look too much like separate buildings put together and visually they're not that good looking together. However, I think both London & Sydney work very well and those separate buildings make a great looking complete set.

I'd be happy if the price was 260€... in Finland it's 280€.

Overall I like it, but I don't love it. I kinda agree with Brick Fanatics' first impressions that it's trying to do too many things at once. The cafe building is my favorite, I just love those upper floor texture & color combinations. My least favorite is the flower shop building, it looks like a low-cost version of PR (which is my all-time favorite Lego set). Interiors & details are excellent, except that music shop could have used the music theme even further in decorations (gold records on the wall etc).

It looks great! However, I'm not interested in the theme itself so it's a pass for me. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

I don't know about others, but I see it this way: 10th Anniversary = 10 years since CC (2007)... so it has nothing to do with the number of sets. -
Positively surprised about this. I like the theme and the building itself, it's something new and fresh for Lego. I might get it

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

My guess: three separately usable 16x32 baseplates, including a park/plaza in one plate with some building structure in the back to make it look more "closed" and two separate 16x32 corner buildings for each side of the park/plaza. All three plates are fully attachable to other modulars as well. -
Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion

For practical reasons, I'm hoping another half and half modular like PS (my display cabin shelf fits only 2,5 modulars). One half could be a 2-story music shop (one floor for records and another for instruments) and a band training room in the attic. Another half could have some small shop in the first floor and apartments in the upper floors. -
...but it's still Batman. Even though it's "new" Batman, I'm pretty sure playing as Batgirl or Robin feels more different than playing as another Batman (especially when the base game was played with Batman as one of the main characters).
-
I'm really happy that Batgirl & Robin are in the Batman Story Pack - because all LEGO Dimensions players already have Batman, I think it's more interesting to get new characters (and there's that fun pack with Batman for those, who want a "new" Batman). The Batman portal could have been better... it's a nice idea, but the pack has over 100 pieces less than other story packs, so it looks somewhat crippled and low-budget... definitely could have been better with some extra bricks.

Slightly off topic, but I was wondering how many kids (or parents) buy police stations or fire stations multiple times, because there's new sets every year? When I was a kid, I had one police station and one fire station, and after I got those I wanted some other stuff. I'm just trying to understand why Lego puts so much effort to those same City themes every year, surely there must be lots of kids who already have the police station and fire station stuff and they want something else.

Last year we got two holiday-themed free gifts (Christmas Train in October & Gingerbread House in November). This year there's free Holiday Countdown calendar (in October) and then there's that unannounced Christmas Ornament (available maybe in November). Do you think that these two are the only holiday-themed free gifts this year?

It looks like it's giving the middle finger.

What if there's normal modular building and in addition a new 10th anniversary edition of Cafe Corner? -

Well, that's also on my wish list. Arcade machines built with Lego bricks are so awesome, like the Midway Arcade set in Lego Dimensions & arcade machines in Lego Kwik-E-Mart. The arcade theme is so nostalgic that it would definitely be a perfect fit to somewhat retro feel of modular buildings. -

I really like that idea! Instruments (drums, piano etc) could be interesting mini-builds and street-musicians would fit to the theme perfectly. It could have that old "red brick" New York vibe with some apartments in the upper floors. -
I wonder what the free Christmas sets are this year. I'm probably buying only the holiday train before Christmas, so even though that holiday calendar is a nice free bonus, I might wait until I know if there's something more suitable free stuff for my Winter Village coming later.

It's for a limited time, so it's probably just the old starter pack with polybag inside and promo sticker in the box.

Those pictures use CMYK color mode, which is usually used for printed stuff and web browsers often don't display that color mode correctly (it looks too bright and too much contrast). Usually digitally shared pictures use RGB color mode, which is the right color mode for web browsers.
