  1. In this second episode of the series, we present our MOC “Royal Customs House / Toldboden”, which has been completed with illumination from Light My Bricks as well as some interior and exterior detailing. Our MOC is based on a real-world location (Toldboden in Aarhus, Denmark). The basement in the left side is now home to a pack of rats, which has attracted the area's cats. In the other side , the basement is haunted, so "Ghostbusters" have made their way past Toldboden to get things under control. More details in the video:
  2. The 709.600 studs foundation of our LEGO layout is finished, and the first part of the layout is now completed. The central part of the finished section is based on our previous MOC "Møllestien", which depicts a real world location (Møllestien in Aarhus, Denmark). The MOC has previously been on display at the Christmas Exhibition at the local department store Salling, but has has now been modified and integrated into our own layout. In our new version, Møllestien is surrounded by train tracks and landscaping, and all houses are illuminated by LEDs from Light My Bricks. Compared to the original version, four additional houses have been added, covering the posts for the upper level of the layout. As shown in the video, the full layout consists of three levels. Everything is built in LEGO - including the posts for the upper levels and the upper levels themselves. A lot of technic elements were built into posts and upper levels to provide strength and stiffness, so that heavy MOCs can be added without risk of collapse. More details in the video: Pictures:

  4. Thank you. That's "Ghost" hair from Hidden side. Thank you. Yes - 35K pieces sounds insane, but when you build with a lot of very small elements the counter goes up very fast. Eg. behind each gold ingot (on the towers) are used 4 1x1 round plates and one "Erling". There are used 800-1000 hair/wigs for the 4 main trees. They are attached to a minifig head each and a 1x1 flower plate, that are attached to flower stems etc.. And then there are all the little bushes ..... and so on.
  5. The interesting geometrical shapes of Broadway Tower in Worcestershire, UK inspired us to this MOC, which consists of approximately 35.000 elements. Made together with Ulf Andersen The layout is inhabited by minifigures and creatures from the Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings universes. The MOC is illuminated by 52 LEDs from Light My Bricks.
  6. Thanks 😊
  7. We have a long-term ambition to build our own - enlarged - versions of all (more or less) LEGO modular buildings. Previously we have built two buildings based on 10251 Brick Bank, and we have now finished the next two - a 76 cm high modification of 10270 Bookshop. It is not only the height of the buildings that has made this a comprehensive project, but also the fact that all floors are fully furnished and equipped with light from Light My Bricks. For part of the interior, we have taken our starting point in 21328 Seinfeld and 10291 Queer Eye - The Fab 5 Loft, but in addition to this a lot of energy has been put into designing furniture, lamps and other furniture for all the floors.
  8. Thanks 😊. I would love to see it next to your Medieval builds.
  9. Thank you for your feedback 😊 I'm glad you like the whole package.
  10. Thank you
  11. Thanks 😊
  12. Thank you very much for your feedback 😊😃. I have no idea what the cost is for this, and I don't think I want to know 🤣. The layout consists of many small pieces. Most parts I already had, and some (mainly flowers and parts for the paths) are reused from last year's Medieval layout. LEGO store PAB walls have been a source for many parts as well. Thank you very much for your feedback 😊😃. I am glad you like the layout and presentation.
  13. Thank you 😊 It might have been the smell of the skunk.. Who knows? 🤣🤣
  14. Thank you very much for your feedback. I'm glad you like it.
  15. Thank you. If you move in, please make sure to stay to the left and in the front. Then you should be safe 😉
  16. Thank you. There are used two kinds of Bright Green plant pieces - hard and soft plastic. I am not sure how many. Maybe somewhere between 1000 and 1500. In addition to the Bright Green pieces there are used many thousands in other colors.
  17. Medieval Countryside Layout, which will be part of a Christmas Exhibition at the Salling Department Store, Aarhus, Denmark (in a slightly modified version) late October 2021.
  18. Thank you very much both of you :)
  19. Ulf Andersen's and my LEGO version of the Royal Customs House (Toldboden) located in Aarhus, Denmark. This building was part of a ca. 2 x 7,5 meter Christmas display 2020 at Salling Department Store, Downtown Aarhus.
  20. Thank you. The top layer of elements are attached to 1x? and 2x? plates. The angle of the roof are created with either ball joints or plates with shaft/holder. Sorry but I can't find any pictures of how it's created.
  21. Medieval layout, which was part of a Christmas Exhibition at the Salling Department Store, Aarhus, Denmark. More pictures can be seen on Flickr A YouTube Video where selected scenes from layout can be seen. In the end of the video the full layout including a castle (Benjamin) and a lake (Morten) can be seen.
  22. Thanks all. I'm glad that some of you also saw it in Copenhagen. Wednesday and Sunday was the only day I was at LW2019 in Copenhagen, as I had to work.
  23. Thanks. I was pleasantly surprised to see this as frontpage news after so long time. I can see the resemblance with the card TeriXeri - thanks for sharing.
  24. Thank you.
