  1. Or you could use it as a trial truck and hoist other trucks out of ditches with the crane...
  2. Looks cool. How exactly are you supposed to see over the hood though?
  3. Wow. Two beautiful MOCs and great displays!
  4. I voted for two of 10's companions. 10 was the best doctor.
  5. So I'm assuming that the first time you'll be able to order this is midnight, December 1st? If so, I won't be going got bed early then!
  6. I have two recommendations: 1) Use a new type reinforced 8 tooth gear. 2) Use one of these: http://rebrickable.com/parts/15462/technic-axle-5-with-stop This should stop the gear from getting misaligned.
  7. That looks really cool. Quite an ingenious system.
  8. Wow, that's looking great! I think a regular boom would look better on this kind of crane.
  9. Thanks a billion for all the great suggestions everyone. I have ended up using a panhard rod, because I couldn't get anything else to work well. Hopefully soon I will be posting a topic about this truck.
  10. Very clean, compact model. I really can't wait to see a video.
  11. You could probably add steering with a few linear actuators. Looks good.
  12. I'm not sure what you would use this on, but it looks like a pretty great idea.
  13. I don't see how that would work, because when it flexes the entire axle is rotated, so a liftarm would not connect.
  14. That looks like it ought to do the trick! Thanks.
  15. That looks really cool! Can't wait to see the 100% done version.
  16. Sorry, I don't quite understand what you mean.
  17. The problem with that is that if I attach it in a way that allows each wheel to flex independently, it will not stop it from wiggling. Is there a way to retain independence while removing wiggle?
  18. So I made a small scale solid axle just for fun and I think it turned out quite well, but it wiggles side to side a bit too much. Here are some pictures. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Those are the pictures of the axle, now here is the problem. The above two pictures show the extent of the wobble.
  19. Maybe putting something on the front of those suspension arms would help. Those would probably be pretty wobbly if you're using frictionless pins.
  20. Looks really good. Good luck!
  21. Looks really good! I'm having a lot of fun looking at people's great entries.
