Unfortunately that might be totally unrelated to the figure's actual printing. This version has leg printing whereas the one in the U-Wing set does not have any, so the torso could also be different.
-
To be more clear - The recent lines have been saturated with X-Wings. There are things we have not had recent sets for which could potentially be a better use of a slot on the 2017 release.
-
It is exactly a repainted cash-grab as far as I can tell. At best it will be a repainted cash-grab toy that coincidentally happens to be involved in the main plot. Either way, we don't need any more X-Wings.
-
I don't think we will. We have already had 2 X-Wings in the last 12 months.
-
I think the Technic structure within will cause rigidity. Lego wouldn't release a set where trying to pick it up will cause the panels to open, so I assume they either lock in place or there is a ridge to grip at the top
-
I don't see how it could have been done much better. Also, Mega Bloks have produced some sets that are far superior to Lego in terms of smooth lines and accuracy to the source material...
-
They do, but that doesn't explain why some are priced higher than the dollar value while others are priced at the same number as dollars and others are below. It's the inconsistency that bugs me The prices weren't on the set pages, I found them on their summary of the sets. It's odd that the DS page has a mix of "this is a stand-in" but they have a description that clearly states what it is. Also, it doesn't have any indication of VIP release, is that normal?

Not according to Brickset's information. Of course, we have fallen for the Lego exchange rates again 75152 - Hovertank - £35 - only $30 75153 - AT-ST - £40 - $40 - a 1:1 exchange rate for some reason 75154 - TIE - £60 - $70, not great exchange but not bad 75155 - U-Wing - £70 - $80, same as above 75156 - Krennic's Shuttle - £80 - $100 I really wish I could understand the logic behind it.
-
75152 - Hovertank - £35 75153 - AT-ST - £40 75154 - TIE - £60 - It's a shame, I wanted this one but it feels too pricey 75155 - U-Wing - £70 75156 - Krennic's Shuttle - £80 The buildable figures are £20
-
I found that odd too, but I wonder if there is an included one they just aren't showing in pictures.
-
I posted to the official pictures on the official Lego Facebook page yesterday and wasn't told off for it. I assumed that, with them being official pictures on the official Lego Facebook page we could now openly share and discuss them, even more so with them being on the official Lego website, along with official videos of these sets. I am impressed with the shuttle. I thought it would open in a similar way to Tydirium, but they seem to have gone to extra effort.
-
Better than the times that UK/EU prices are randomly a higher number than the dollar value, despite having a stronger currency. Those price points are just ridiculous
-
That's $30 less than Kylo Ren's Shuttle, and looks about the right scale smaller to be $90 to me. Lego Star Wars prices aren't as bad as people seem to think. The average set is still around 12 cents per piece. The pieces are just more commonly hidden away in the internal structure.

I know the official embargo is September 30th, but Lego has a load of the official pictures on their Facebook, so I assume I can link to that: https://www.facebook.com/LEGO/photos/pcb.10153949122613403/10153949084823403/?type=3&theater

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
nikhkin replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
They don't, people are just thinking wishfully. As for an "anniversary re-release", Lego went out of their way in the Death Star announcement to make it clear that it isn't going to happen. -
It's a 2 figure set so I can't imagine it being much more than £20 at a push, like Rey's Speeder was last year.
-
When I asked about double points coming up and coinciding with the release of the new Death Star in my local store, I was told that there would be a deal for 75093 Final Duel to be half price when bought with the Death Star. Seems like an odd deal to me, since the final duel is shown within the set.
-
Why is a small amount of dust on a massive set a big deal? You can't notice it unless you look at the massive pictures. You can't keep dust off a Lego set of that size!
-
It says it's a great building experience. Doesnt say they will want to pay for another copy of the set.
-
As far as I know there's not a single Disney property in Dimensions. It's very Warner Brothers and Universal heavy. I wouldn't be surprised if Disney refuse to allow inclusion of their properties.
-
1 hour until the 1st of September doesn't mean 1 hour until official reveals of the sets. It could be 25 hours and be released right before the end of the day.

Modular Building Sets - Rumours and Discussion
nikhkin replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in LEGO Town
A shopping arcade could be interesting, but I'm not sure how feasible it is. The most stores that can fit on a 32x32 baseplate has been shown by DO, with a left and right store with an arch between. -
Isn't it possible that it is intended to be just a protocol droid? Not every minifigure needs to be a very specific character. White Wookie isn't a specific character from the films. Christmas Tree Droid from a few years back was just a droid that looked like a Christmas tree. Most likely scenario is that it's a recycled print from an old droid, so we can just match it up.
-
People keep posting that picture but it never looks any less silly. Surely Yoda could have just flown a standard Interceptor with modified controls to allow for his height!
-
Do you mean the Rogue One toys video? That's more just showing off the range of toys that will be available It's tomorrow, isn't it? Based on what was said a couple of weeks ago.
