  1. Ah, well I could be wrong. Although, since we've been basing a lot of prior discussion on leaks and rumours, it depends mostly upon the opinion of the leaker.
  2. Brick built droids aren't "minifigures", so we are only getting 3. I think there was earlier mention of them being included as builds. Without them I think the set would be a bit plain.
  3. Well the image is just a computer generated image, not real Lego, it lacks information and the figures aren't all printed, so I assume so.
  4. It just looks different because the picture isn't particularly well focused. The "back" sticker is a bit blurry and makes it seem different.
  5. It's a supermarket. I've seen them about in a few places, including WH Smiths, Tesco etc. Basically, check out the kind of place you might find a kids book and you'll have a good chance of getting one.
  6. It's irrelevant anyway, since it's now 1300 GMT and no pictures :p Are we expecting to see anything new, other than the Snowspeeder?
  7. I do find it amusing at the number of people complaining about a rehash of the Snowspeeder, and how many of them are probably going on and on about how they should re-release the Falcon. You can't moan about Lego redoing something whilst you're moaning they haven't redone something else. Personally, this isn't one I'll buy. It looks like a great representation, but it isn't something I feel the need to display. If I'm not having it on display, I don't really see the point in spending so much on it.
  8. When was the last set that had STAMPs? I haven't owned one since the 90s (or very early 2000s), but it's possible it's just a set I didn't buy. I'm pretty sure the original UCS X-Wing had a STAMP for the display plaque, from memory.
  9. My main disappointment is that they don't give Batgirl and Robin an alternative costume in this final set. I'm glad we get Bat-Alfred in it though. The new Batmobile is very reminiscent of the hastily constructed builds from the Lego Movie, with what looks like a mismatch of parts put together to make something ridiculous, yet cool.
  10. http://brickset.com/article/26482/free-polybag-with-this-saturday-s-the-times It was surprisingly hard to find info about it.
  11. Can I just check I'm on the right page with all this: We are getting the UCS Snowspeeder (there is a set number I believe, but we have also been expecting it for some time) Everyone is still obsessing over the UCS Falcon, but we have no evidence beyond people wanting it There is another, rumoured UCS set that is apparently a ship, and not something we have seen before Is this right, or is there actually something to all the Falcon rumours now? I keep seeing people quote it but last I checked nobody had ever supplied any evidence, and there weren't even any people claiming to have sources telling them it existed.
  12. People seem surprised with an April release, but I don't see why. It could very well be April VIP release and general release for 4th May.
  13. Your biggest crime, of course, is that you have the utility belt on upside down!
  14. Normally the unrevealed set is something larger and exclusive to the Lego Store. This seems too small scale to me, unless it is part of a larger set. I could see it being included with the Batwing set. Personally I think the Batmobile/Batcycle/Batwing combo set that has been rumoured is more likely.
  15. I'm planning to get mine tomorrow. It's good to see some high quality images. I didn't realise how much detail was on Tears for Batman. Probably one of the best "free with £50 purchase" giveaways.
  16. Having seen the film, there are certainly characters and builds that could potentially be included in more sets. The main question is whether Lego see a need for more Lego Batman Movie sets. With the Lego Movie it was the end of sets for those characters. With this, there will be more DC sets, almost all of which contain Batman anyway. They may feel they have enough Batman stuff for January without continuing TLBM theme. I'll be vague, but there are a couple of variations I'd like to see.
  17. When I first saw the original helmet, I thought it was ridiculously over-sized and that they should have used a printed head (like the SDCC exclusive). Over time, it grew on me and I am quite fond of it now. The new one, I very much dislike. We have gone from a helmet that had texture (eye holes shown, a shaped jawline) to one that is totally smooth on the front. It just looks too plain. I do, however, like the art style used for the print. I just wish they'd used it on the hold helmet.
  18. Yeah, I almost made the same mistake and was planning a drive to the Lego store. That would have been a bit awkward when I spent £50 and then asked for a couple of free Batmans at the till.
  19. Nope, nobody has any idea how to get it anywhere. When was the last time Lego sold something in their stores but not online? It doesn't make sense and is basically asking for people to sell them for profit on eBay.
  20. Yes, it'll be available through any official Lego store, including the website.
  21. If they do, could you also check if it has to be £50 of Lego Batman Movie stuff, or just £50 in general. As far as I can tell it's just 50 quid, but want to be sure. Edit: I've managed to answer my own questions. I have just visited my local store and know 2 things: Leicester Square must either have special permission or have broken the rules to give them out early. You can spend £50 on any Lego you want to get the free 2-pack of Batmans. The assistant manager confirmed it for me.
  22. Did they specify that the exact sets would not be exclusive, or that the characters would not be exclusive? Because of the 4 SDCC characters, only Wonder Woman doesn't have another set. Or did they simply mean that Brickheadz wouldn't be an exclusive line, only seen at SDCC?
  23. Interesting, because it isn't due to be released for another week.
