    Looking at the store catalogue/newsletter it only says "free with a £50 purchase" and I cannot see any terms specifying it to be Batman/DC purchases. I have avoided buying a couple of Batman sets I would like just in case, but have other sets I would rather buy first if I can.

    I get the feeling that if it does become available in the UK properly, it'll either require a purchase of more than the £13 for the keyring, or it'll involve some other indirect method to get hold of. With this one bought, and the 2 Batman giveaway in Feb, it's just the Battlepod Tiger Batsuit I need to figure out how to get and my collection will be complete.

    We are definitely getting the Disco and Tears for Batman suits from the Lego store. It's a £50 giveaway starting on the 6th. Not a clue about officially, I caved and bought one for a bumped up price. It's available on Amazon for about £13 with Prime delivery. It's a "fulfilled by Amazon" product apparently.

    If it's available in Lego Stores it'll be available online as well.

    I don't think we knew about the Spider-Man set until nearer the time of the film coming out.

    James Gunn has explicitly gone out of his way to avoid anything from the second half of the film being seen. It isn't in the trailers, it isn't being made into toys yet either it seems.

    Glad to hear it. How much sooner? Do you know the spending requirement?

    I've not seen them in any shops other than the Lego Shop. Nothing in Argos, Sainsbury's or WH Smiths. The Tartan Batman is on Amazon, which is where I ended up going to get it.

    I've never known it to be chaotic before this year. Launch day is normally busy, but no more so than the run up to Christmas. This year I think was caused by the new Batman sets (in the UK at least)

    I don't see why anyone would expect a store to sell it before Sunday. That's the day it comes out. It seems to be a very American thing to me, as it's always Target and Wallmart that are apparently selling things early. I've never noticed it happen in the UK. Saying that, however, someone on Reddit managed to get one from a Legoland in America.

    If Lego wanted to raise the price they would have just raised it. They wouldn't need to be sneaky about it.

    I just called Bluewater. They aren't sure if it's £169.99 or £179.99. He thinks it is the higher price but can't confirm it yet.

    Well they have confirmed the UK release for the Lego Batman Movie sets as Jan 1st on Twitter. Those sets are also missing from the online store. As such I doubt there is anything to worry about.

    There isn't anything. If there was, it would be listed along side the Batwing on the American Store Calendar.

    There's a Batwing polybag at the moment in North America. No details on UK/Europe as far as I know.

    There isn't always. There wasn't one last year. In fact, I can't recall any other than the Flower Cart for the Detective's Office.

    Well the UK price has changed a few times already. It has been quoted as £169.99 and £179.99, both by Lego sources. Plus there is the new suggestion of UK prices all increasing by 5% (although that will not impact other European markets)

    All the 2017 sets are currently missing from the UK and other European sites. Lego stated there was an error some time ago, but they haven't re-appeared. Someone suggested it was because the prices are being increased, but I hope that's not the case.

    There haven't been any suggestions of a free polybag yet. Last year we all though the park fountain was coming with the Brick Bank, but it turned out not to.

    I assumed that was why all new sets vanished in the UK, but it doesn't make sense for the rest of Europe

    Huh! Never would have expected that. I hope they have at least updated the water pumps. Of course, the advantage of Lego being you can build a fire engine from any era.

    I just looked and the Canadian price has also increased by $10. I'm not happy to see this increase in price for us here. Stupid weakened sterling...
