Feminism isn't a cult... It's ridiculous to think of it in that way. They did? A "Men of NASA" set would have been poorly received, yes. This is because history has focused on the men of NASA time and time again. There has been little to no attention for the many contributions of the women of NASA, thus the set. And while I consider myself a feminist, I think a "People of NASA" set would have been the best way to make a more inclusive step in the right direction. What feminists ultimately want is to be on the same footing as men, so I feel that the back and forth, tit for tat strategy goes against the ideals of feminism. It has been all-male before, going all-female now is just more of the same in the opposite direction. I'm probably coming at it from the wrong point of view, though, because I am a feminist. It's those who don't understand feminism that need to see sets like this, and to really value women for their merits. It may take some overtly pro-female sets to drive home the idea before true progress and even distribution can become a reality. In that spirit, I am happy to see this set.

Brick Suit Guy is a great idea, and in a series that celebrates the history of LEGO I could totally see it happening.

Oh how I miss 1988, when this set was only $6.00: Anyways, I don't mind the purple, but I don't much like how it has been used in these Nexo Knights sets. Everything else I agree with.

1st: I'd prefer an Office Space set to either version of the Office (although the American is superior). 2nd: I'd love to see the Dungeon Master set come to life, and you've described some great features I'd love to see in the Castle theme.

Good points (both). I'm wondering what other suits we will get. So far, there seems to be support for a Cake Suit rumor. I've already stated my hopes for a Dragon and Lion Suit, and there have been a few other ideas thrown about.

I like the 2 guys on top. Might be worth it to pick this up. Too bad one of them has the short legs, though.

Same here, too. I'm sure I'll find something to like, but there's no way I'll find enough to empty my wallet for. Not until the new Castle theme eventually pops up (if it ever does), and even then it had better be good if I'm going to buy more than just a couple of sets. But still, some of these costumes might be great or have great pieces. The kid in the devil suit gave us some nice pieces for fantasy...

I would say that all of your proposals fit neatly into Fantasy Castle.

That sounds delicious. I would say it's as strong a rumor as we have. Nothing has been 100% confirmed, but there are some good rumors from fairly reliable sources.

Exactly. They're already doing this. They should definitely do more of this, though. I wouldn't be surprised if it was all a prank, considering the heinous prank that earned him the title. But I trust him. Should be interesting to see what costumes we get. I'm hoping for a Dragon, and maybe a Lion or Falcon costume. Castle factions as costumes would be better than no attention to Castle.

I like this idea, and it has been tossed around a lot in the past. I just hope that if it happens it will be compatible with bricks. Then you could use it as someone embedded into a wall.

Maybe it will just be themed around anniversaries?

That would be too good to be true. I don't believe that LEGO would ever cater to my tastes in such a way.

If you look at some of the details of the Nexo Knights sets and marketing, you could think that way. There are some things that could come across as a nod to the old fans, but in reality they seem almost condescending. One of these would be the old introduction video for Lance. This shows the 1978 Castle knights as somewhat dumb and inept. There are also the 'banners' from the Fortrex: These have the number "375-6045" that was the set number of the original 1978 yellow castle set. For a lot of Castle fans, the Fortrex is a mockery of castles, so referencing that old castle like this can seem like they are teasing us. But these are subjective positions. I don't think LEGO really wants to alienate their Castle fans. I think these are genuinely supposed to be 'shout-outs' to the fans of classic Castle. And I wouldn't expect a real Castle theme in 2018. Nexo Knights is supposed to continue for one more year after this one, so a real Castle theme shouldn't be expected until 2019. Even then, there's no guarantee. But there are a lot of us hoping very strongly. It would be awesome, however, if they teased the 2019 Castle theme with a nice big D2C Castle set in 2018. Maybe an update if the 1978 castle. But now I'm just wishlisting.

I like this. I applaud LEGO for their choice to celebrate the women of NASA, as the accomplishments and representations of women are often overlooked, especially in science. In reality, it's an important set with an important message. However, I also feel that balance and equality are best achieved through balanced sets and representation, not through promoting women alone here and there. When the sets become more inclusive across the board, the need for these directed efforts diminishes.

All of this sounds nice, but I think it's going to be more 'themed' than that. More like the other 'themed' series of monsters.

That's a nice project. Hope it will make it. Still hoping for Voltron, too.
