  1. Ultimately, a design that isn't too wacky and uses the Classic Space logo is the basis of what I want to see.
  2. Chima retired in 2015, Nexo Knights launched in 2016. That's the only frame of reference we really have. So 2018 at the earliest, maybe as late as 2019, and there's no telling if it will be a new theme, another Big Bang, or a return of something older. I'm personally hoping for a Castle reinvention in 2018, but would welcome Pirates or Space as well.
  3. I'm a little torn on the issue, honestly. I love some of the reinventions, like the ones in the CMF series: But you can't go wrong with the Classic Space figures, either. I love the Classic Space look. I also love that they released the Exo Suit through LEGO Ideas and included the Classic Space figure in a new color. I'd love to see that figure in every color of the rainbow. Let's have them in dark purple, light azure, earth orange... But I also like the idea of accent colors. The Rocket Boy came with a light grey Clasic Space torso, which is awesome, but he has dark grey hands and legs rather than light grey. So he has an accent color. I wouldn't mind seeing all of Classic Space taken this way. So you would have the blue Space outfit like Benny, but with dark blue hands and legs, and maybe a dark blue helmet as well. To expand on the accents, a little bit of arm and leg printing couldn't hurt, but make it consistent across all the figures, and keep it simple. But then it's a slippery slope towards reinvention like the figures above. Can a Space theme exist with both?
  4. I hadn't thought of that, but I did order a couple of extra legs from Ringo in the Yellow Submarine set. Waiting on them to arrive. To illustrate my idea, here is the torso and the legs: The legs are dark bluish grey, like the short legs he comes with, but the stripes should look cool with the Classic Space logo. Add in epaulettes, perhaps, and he's more of a Space Captain to lead all of the other Classic Spacers.
  5. That made me laugh. I hope not, as well.
  6. I don't know, it was hinted. Maybe some kind of rocket? It's honestly just my guess based on clues. Could be something completely different. What else do Americans use to celebrate the 4th of July that would be applicable to this series?
  7. Based on things said in this thread, there's a rumor of a Spider Suit and there might be 2 Brick Suits. Then there's the possibility of the Fireworks Suit, but that's not yet quite as confirmed as the others.
  8. I love these LEGO clones. I loved them when they were made by LEGO. But I love the idea of LEGO focusing on a different faction every 6 months or so. They could still do sets, but make them work without factions. Then, each faction could be a couple of battle pack styled sets. For example, one set with a knight on a horse with a small build and maybe a squire or civilian or something. Another set could be 4-6 minifigures and a small build like the Star Wars battle packs. Or, they could do a "People Pack" like those 60134 Fun in the Park and 60153 Fun at the Beach sets, where there are some small builds and associated accessories, but it's mostly a big minifigure pack. I'd buy a Fun at the Castle set. Honestly, I feel that's what the fans of Castle really want. Don't get me wrong, sets are great, but I think that what would appeal to the fans the most would be faction minifigure sets and battle packs, along with a Castle themed Creator bin with lots of black, greys, browns, and greens, with specific pieces for Castle builds. Then, add the occasional set with things like bigfigs, dragons, and such.
  9. Basically anything with a lot of grey, black, or darker colors. Also, sets that include minifigures that can be appropriated into a Castle theme with a helmet change or other similar actions.
  10. "fairly innocent" I believe Stash2Sixx gave me this title in response to my comments in the Some Rude Moderators thread about my relatively harmless infractions. I'd like to take it as an admission that I am indeed fairly innocent rather than sarcasm, so that's what I am going to do. Either way, it's nice to get a title I can appreciate. I didn't like the last one, and admittedly behaved very poorly in reaction to it. In that case, I was quite guilty.
  11. Heretic! But seriously, the second idea here of different torsos wouldn't be completely bad. I mean, there have been a wide variety of heads and legs, I don't see why a couple of different torsos would hurt much. And there are already a few, like Axl from Nexo Knights, or the Ninjago double torso. Also, don't forget the new arm pieces like the robotic arm, the bird wings, and shark fins. Now, I'm not sure wide shoulders or feminine shapes are necessary, but some additional variations could be fun.
  12. Hard to tell, but they look dark pearl grey (gunmetal) to me.
  13. That would be pretty cool. Well your profile says your birthday is July 4th. In America, they use fireworks on July 4th, and those would be good for celebrations...
  14. That was a very interesting read, thanks!
  15. I agree with all of these assessments. I find Star Wars sets satisfy not only my love of Star Wars, but also a lot of my Castle needs.
  16. I really like that sword and the black fence piece.
  17. I'll agree, that's a pretty cool dragon. I like all of the sand green pieces.
  18. I've inadvertently gone slightly off topic in the Star Wars Rumor threads before, so I'll say it's not difficult to do. And while I can recognize that I have violated the rules, I also feel that my posts were fairly innocent. But I do understand the need to police that thread in riot gear. There are so many people posting all of the time it must feel like a full time job just to keep track of that one thread, let alone the rest of the forum. So while I may feel that the punishment I've received has been a little inconsistent with the level of my crimes, I do have to say that the Moderators (even Stash2Sixx) are doing their jobs, and doing them well. Therefore, I offer my thanks. I've also refrained from posting in the Star Wars Rumor threads as well, since I've been sent to the Chamber for what I saw in retrospect as mild incursions. I'd rather not get sent to the Chamber again, and because of that I just don't really know much about upcoming Star Wars sets. It's definitely one of my top themes, but I don't want to risk it. And since I mostly avoid it, when I do take a peek it's moved 50 pages and I can't possibly catch up. I just scroll through a few pages looking for pictures, then get exasperated. As you put it, "Oh well." I'm looking forward to seeing what the new Star Wars Rumors format will be. I know we had a vote a while back, so I'm curious if this relates to those results.
  19. Elves is not a Castle theme. At least not in my opinion. And the sets aren't that nice. Admittedly some of them are pretty good, like the treehouse. Ragana's castle has a little too much of the curves and spikes for me to take it seriously, but I do appreciate the black and dark purple color scheme. And the hate for the minidolls overshadows any positives about the Elves theme. Again, at least in my opinion. But they do have some nice hair from time to time (as long as it doesn't have elf ears, I'm not a fan).
  20. Temple is very cool, but that's a great looking ship.
  21. It looks fantastic. I may have to get this one.
  22. Lame. Cole doesn't need gold or brown. His black and grey outfits are the only Ninjago figures I've really been interested in.
  23. That's probably true. I hadn't seen it from that angle before.
  24. Not necessarily, since this series is expected to be costumes.
