Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Did I miss something...because when did the Red-Hulks race the Green-Hulks? Or was that a deleted scene? Sorry, but I would hope for Sam Wilson. It'd make sense in context of the rest of the set, and plus...DC got Green Arrow and Green Lantern, and now a version of Bizarro. It's time Marvel got some stuff like that...and don't tell me we got 10+ Spider-men, because we all know that's not where I was going with this. I don't feel it'd be wrong to include Captain Wilson just because he was an SDCC character.- 5,808 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I believe Sci or someone speculated about $40 for the set, which is reasonable, given Detroit Steel, Coulson and Lola, and Iron Man. My problem is the Super-Adaptooid. If they adapt to those they are fighting, and he's for red wings and a shield....it's got to be Sam Wilson!- 5,808 replies

This is super awesome! I can't find a flaw in the sleek, black design of the car! Great job, and fantastic attention to detail!

Very true, the LBM wave and potentially this wave could bring about some very good hairpieces. Do you just mean, like, High School in general? Because I'm with you there, man. Been there done that.- 3,020 replies

The flow of the wall is gorgeous, so realistic. The mosaic is also very pretty. Well done, too bad we've already got four corners. It looks fantastic amidst the other customs on display.

Not feeling it...but I might get it anyways since I don't have a 10188. A bit of a let down, but the opportunity remains. At least we knew we'd be let down. -
Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion

I just opened by Doc Ock's Tentacle Trap this morning, and it is not as bad as people say! I love the new Do Ock arm construction, and Vulutre is pretty good, despite the sudden drop-off of printing with the legs. White Tiger is fantastic, and looks great with the other four "Web Warriors," and Captain Stacy is well, trying to hit 88 mph with the Police Boat. The main build is fun, and some functions seem thrown in but it looks great altogether. For $40 or less, I'd recommend this. -

No, but I don't think one would be out of the question for next Fall. Given the so far success of the Docotr Strange set with some obscure characters, released three months ahead of a November film release, I could see a similar Thor set next summer. That's just speculation, but it is grounded.- 5,808 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
My apologies, I'm really not sure. I remember reading on Brickset that the photos were not to be revealed until Sep. 30. I thought I remembered reading a few weeks ago that Disney had not scheduled a date to celebrate release this year, e.g. Force Friday. My bad if this is not the case. -

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'd say 70% of the time. He can be spotty, but no where near always. He also did jump on a few things and claimed their basis in legitimacy, like the Nurse Joker minifigure that appeared last year. I'm not condemning him, and I could've/should've used a different example, I'm just saying I'm taking anything outside the "inner circle" of leakers and their sources with small grains of salt. I just don't want another Nekshir. Edit: Apologies to Delta Customs, I didn't fully understand all the information you had given us so far, backed by Sir Gareth and/or others. -

Well, if there really aren't many major changes, what's the point? The old one was out for seven years and they don't think people will buy that one from a bootleg company before buying their $500 "legit" model or some $700 aftermarket model? For example, I saw a bootleg 76042 for less than $50 on eBay the other day. Didn't buy it, but the point is that early view or not, it's not going to stop them. People who can afford 75159 and want it that bad will buy it, the rest of us just want to look at the merchandise. They may lose some money, but the way I see it they might not lose all that much than they already would. -

"Respect the Bothans! Respect them!" But really, all this information is making me wary. I don't want someone to come in here with a what could be a load of crap and someone to come in here with an out of the books answer and we chose to believe the wrong people. I'm not getting my hopes up for any info from anyone we don't trust. Delta's sound okay, and he got all the DC stuff right, but I won't forget the info he "revealed" about the Civil War airport last year...weeks after we already had a completely different confirmed description. -

I was mostly wowed by the BvS Batmobile. As soon as I saw it, something about it looked so elegant, it flows even better. Well done with all of them though, I have yet to open my Ghost Rider bike yet.
