LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Oh thanks goodness. Kind of makes you wonder why it's on display. Maybe it's an old preliminary display, if that's a thing. -
Fantastic detailing. And attention to detail, I may add.: Tony Stark is now a lost cause. I wondered this as well. Oh well, artist's perspective.

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Forgive me, that's not a TOE fighter's solar dish I saw...it's supposedly the new turbo laser. Whoops. I completely agree, I think that retiring the product the same year as releasing a face-lift is innaporpoiate. But, we're not here to discuss the three modulars I'm missing... -

I don't know, even for the quality that picture looks convincing. The new TIE fighter design there is well, new. I don't know why there an antennae thing on the top, especially not for scale. I also think I se stickers going down the wall, but they don't look like that classic Death Star "wallpaper." Edit: nevermind, I'm not really convinced here. -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I didn't get the 2008 Death Star myself. However, I'm disappointed about his one not only because of the price-to-part ratio, but also because it, like the Insult on Hoth, took up a UCS spot where we could've had something new. I mean, we're also getting another UCS Snowspeeder next year? Lego should focus on the mounds of untouched and new material they have for these UCS sets, like the fantastic Landspeeder and Rey's Speeder over on Lego Ideas. Especially the latter, given the drive of popularity with the recent film. I can see why Disney would vouch for rereleases given their potential pull to a new generation of fans, but in this they're potentially neglecting the older fans who have "been with the program" for years. -
Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Any word on builds besides Detroit Steel and Lola in that respective set? I don't see two minifigures and a Buildable figure warranting $40.- 5,808 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
I really agree with (Nexus); I would be led to believe that the Cap in the set is Sam Wilson. Which I am very open to, I'd love to get a wide release of this character, especially if this is an approx. $20 set.- 5,808 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

So 75159 The Death Star is basically the "Winter Village Toy Shop" of the Lego Star Wars theme? Really, of all things, especially with the new film... -

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Captain Nemo's topic in LEGO Licensed
So, are we thinking $20 for the Cap Jet set (like the 2015 Green Lantern v Sinestro) and about $30 for the Detroit Steel set? Because if so, that puts the January wave alone at about $140 with the Mighty Micros, plus the 3 GotG:V2 sets in March, plus whatever the summer surely will bring! I mean, who cares? We're all going to get that Coulson and Lola and Red Hulk and Detroit Steel and Kamala Khan and Super Adaptoid (why not?) and She-Hulk and Iron Man....but it's nice to know we're paying for it all...or maybe it's not.- 5,808 replies

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
So Delta mentioned that the Batcave would have a place to hang the Batsuits. Is it possible each CMF could come with a little clip piece, and the Batcave would be the place they'd attach to? Like a small wheel of suits on one end? -

LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors

He's stated that he was referring to something he believed will come in the Winter wave of next year, but I wouldn't be totally surprised. -
LEGO Star Wars 2016 Pictures and Rumors
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Brickdoctor's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Has it been confirmed that 75159 Teh Death Star will compromise with Rogue One? Because in the Rgoue One Trailer Brickdown over on Brickset, CapnRex101 has stated about the Death Troopers that other than in Krennic's Shuttle, "these elite troopers will appear in another set toward the end of this year." I'd like to believe this is 75159, but I wanted to check with you guys around here. -

Another Captain Marvel...with a jet...before her movie? In one year? I don't know, I could do a variant but I would like a new character not released in a set before, personally. Even if Cap is set in stone...unless it's Sam Wilson. I'm sure.- 5,808 replies

Trailer just aired on TV seven minutes ago @10:36. Check it out if online, totally worth the wait. There were some great shots (including a closing shot of Darth Vader!!!!!). The film looks epic, and there was an awesome shot of an AT-AT's head going kablammo when shot in with a rocket launcher from the ground. The film's ships look fantastic on-screen, and I do like the Rebel U-Wing, the Lego model is quite accurate. Here's the link to the YouTube page:

Marvel Superheroes 2016 Rumors And Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Quicksilver's topic in LEGO Licensed
The polybag last year was the Hulk...from Age of Ultron...which was released about the same time in theaters as Civil War. So who's to say that it couldn't be a Civil War polybag? I'd just hold on, although I must say the lack of K-man from Doctor Strange is well, strange. -

Just got all my sets in the mail from the FedEx guy...and I built the Tanker Truck Showdown...and it's one of my favorite sets thus far! Spidey is an amazing minifigure, and I was surprised to find the compact build of the actual tank part of the tanker has some weight to it. It's a great model, though I didn't apply stickers (merely for re-use of those colored parts with no regrets). My only complaint is there is no driver in the set, but this can be easily managed through a quick parts search of any collection. I highly recommended it, whether you want it for Spidey, Hawkeye, or the Roxxon fan service. -

I love that the Winter Train set included a Christmas tree with a...Train set. This is a really fantastic set...I don't know whether I'll get this though or the "big ball thingy from a galaxy far, far away." -

Yeah, no way they do that again. They look great, Hover Tank and Kreenic's Shuttle are my favorites.
