Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

Ugh, I hadn't even thought of Heindall's absence! That is truly disappointing, I would've much rather had him than the purple Sakaar guard, for instance.- 5,808 replies

Marvel Superheroes 2017 - Set Discussion

I'm actually a little turned off by the Brucs Banner figure; I love that we're finally getting one, and the head is great. It's an easy swap, but I for one don't like all the black on that figure. I would've much preferred a bit of purple or a ripping shirt to go along with the green eyes signifying change The arena, however, is growing on me- 5,808 replies

I see $40 in that first set, and then I do see the rumored $60 in the arena. I will buy them if discounted for the minifigures. These are frankly not good. I agree that they look like Juniors builds. The minifigures are superb, and maybe they are concept art (the trailer looks like some Maz Kanata fanatic was in charge of costuming), but these do not match the aesthetic of Thor that I'm used to, and frankly I would've preferred a section of actual Asgard for the first set as opposed to Valkyrie's ship- 5,808 replies

Not sure if we've seen this yet, but there's a listing on eBay for Hulk. The thing is, they've got him in the bag with arms separated; the shoulder pad is molded into the arm, making a ring around the top of the arm when viewed from the side. http://m.ebay.com/itm/LEGO-76088-Marvel-Thor-Ragnarok-Minifigure-WORLD-WAR-HULK-inhand-ready-to-ship-/292096227455?hash=item44024ab87f%3Ag%3AVggAAOSw2gxYxksf&_trkparms=pageci%3A52059024-2e5a-11e7-85b3-74dbd18041c9%7Cparentrq%3Ac3971a7715b0aa415d610bd6fffe24a4%7Ciid%3A4- 5,808 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Stash2Sixx's topic in LEGO Star Wars
So it turns out the Falcon was CM4Sci's creation over on Reddit; Happy April Fools! But he's really playing that he Photoshopped the old Han Solo, complete with long gray hair...from something we have yet to see! It's a small win, I guess. -

I don't think this has been posted yet...the 76075 "Wonder Woman Warrior Battle" is revealed! 286 pieces makes this look so irresistible when you think of the price range. The Wonder Woman figure looks incredible, very detailed! And Ares...see for yourself https://m.imgur.com/a/C3hyb- 3,020 replies

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Not with e movie so close to the Winter wave released. The first half-wave is out Nov. 27 (at least in the States) and then I believe the remaining half-wave is to be released in January. Odd, yes, but not wrongfully so. I persoanlly think it'd be a huge Christmas sales boost though. I mean, Batman definitely sells. -
You...you...you skipped Avengers: Infinity War! The biggest one! And Spider-Man: Homecoming! I saw Doctor Strange yesterday afternoon. I feel Rachel Mcadams was indeed not used to her potential, and come on: we all knew Kaecillius was a Marvel villain and therefore the inevitable happens. But I quite liked the persistence of his character, as well as the few humorous lines he was given. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed the film, especially for not knowing loads about the character of Strange. The CGI was mind-blowing, and would've been insane in 3D! Cannot wait for its DVD release.

Hopefully it'll be paired with Doctor Strange then! I have to say, Kudos to the Lego Group for keeping these sets under cover so close to a release, but...I do want to see these! -

The Walking Dead (TV Series) Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Bricky Dee Williams's topic in Culture & Multimedia
A great point, but: Glenn's now infamous dumpster dive was meant to throw a wrench into the predictions of fans. The news that Negan was to be introduced in Season 6 (or rumors, at that point) had a lot of people thinking Glenn would meet his fate. The show went for shock value with that twist more than anything, not because he was supposed to meet his fate if the show had indeed followed the comics.- 5 replies

So here we find ourselves at Season 7. Upon a quick search of Eurobricks last night, I found that this topic didn't already exist. The show has a tremendous following, and believe it to be a fantastic show on every level. Given "The Day Will Come When You Won't Be," we have plenty to talk about. So, what did you all think of Negan's choice pick? Was it a shock, or did you see it coming? Was it too much? How will it further effect the cast throughout this season and beyond? -Speaking of which, this should be a no-brainer (get it?) but I don't think this is the place for any gruesome photos from the series, especially those of the spoilery type. Mods: I understand if this is a TV-MA series, and thus a more adult topic. I know there is also a Game of Thrones thread, so I don't believe this will go too far.

The LEGO Batman Movie Set/CMF Rumors & Discussion
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Sir Gareth's topic in LEGO Licensed
Hey guys. Did anyone else see the Riddler over on Brickset? He seems to have photo-bombed the Batgirl minidolls review! Either way, he looks fantastic...and it's a real puzzler how they got him! -
Why is this not an actual set? This is terrific, I love it!

I'm not the biggest X-men fan, by far, but the new Logan trailer looks very gritty and sad. Thr Old Man Logan comic storyline is a very good one, and very sad. I want to see just how much they take from it into this film. And it releases two months before Guardians, so it's something to look forward to.

Force Friday (30th September) promotions
Bricky Dee Williams replied to Richpepperell's topic in LEGO Star Wars
With Christmas seemingly around the corner (it'll come fast), I decided to pick my fellow Star Wars fan friends up a key chain each...and I got a Darth Revan with each purchase. Free shipping on all purchases, and the VIP points allowed me to reach my next reward as well. I ordered early Friday morning (6-7:30 AM) and everything worked smoothly. I used a mobile Apple device, could this be a safe route for navigating the website?
