  1. Picking this up is a bit problematic to me. The hood and the cabin can't be grabbed because they are loosely attached. Using one hand isn't ideal because there is a drive under the body, and using one hand from below can bend the drive train.
  2. So the filter moves up and down during sorting. My guess is that when the small bricks fall to the belt with LAs, they tip the filter so that the other side goes up.
  3. @Jim: Can you cover the plough in your review also?
  4. I finished the B-model today. Some impressions: - Steering is a bit hard because the hoses go through the turntable, and because articulate steering moves the whole model. - Most of the B-model stickers can be applied without having to peel off any A-model stickers, except for the 2 pieces intended for the 3x11 black panel. - Amazing details! I love the rear most. It has a fake engine, three fake oil inlets, and an exhaust pipe. The real L350G has 2 exhaust pipes at the end. This set brilliantly uses the hand pump as the center, larger pipe and another one as the smaller one. - Genius conversion from the black-dominant A model to the yellow-dominant B model. - The only connection points between the front and the main body are the black half of the turntable. No other connection points. At first I thought the model will be flimsy or very flex around that part, but it turns out to be very stable. No visible bending. - A lot of parts left. Roughly half of the parts. Most studded parts, orange parts, and A-model-stickered parts are unused. - The B-model is heavier in the rear, so if I pump without grabbing the bottom of the set, sometimes I would just end up pushing the whole rear down.
  5. Now that the biggest excavator has been released, let's hope that the second biggest one, which is the bucket chain excavator, would be released too.
  6. Thanks for the amazing LDD! The building instruction is available online, so I think you can use it to check the accuracy.
  7. If you disengage the clutch, you can turn the cabin manually, and doing so doesn't damage anything. The cabin turns very smoothly. In fact most of the time I turn it manually. I just give a whirl and it will turn back. @Jim: Totally agree that the crane is good. I don't really get the hate for the crane.
  8. The crane stands erected much much longer than I thought. I gave it 4-5 pump, and it stood there for like 10 minutes! Cure for male dysfunction found haha
  9. Looks like the 42055 BWE really sucks at scooping bricks:
  10. I don't really get the hate for the crane. I've done building the set, and I really like the crane. It's compact, it uses interesting building techniques, and it can stand on its outriggers. The grabber and extension to me are purely decorative, so I'm not really bothered by them.
  11. Turn out there's no magic at all. The filter is really simple: there are 3 axles, separated by 1 module, probably to filter out the 1x1 bricks.
  12. Motorized function extend and retract side blades. Manual function turn the plough left and right.
  13. You know what, B-models are not supposed to be THAT cool and authentic ; __ ; Now I want another set just to build the B-model...
  14. I've just finished building the Claas. The whole body is so dense and detailed and full of reinforcements that it took 3/4 of my building time. The crane can stand on its own 2 outriggers, which is amazing.
  15. Now that the biggest land monster has been released, TLG will no longer have any bigger monster *cry*
  16. I also think that TLG doesn't adhere to any specific pattern. In the Technic interview Andy said they already planned to do a wheel excavator before they decided to partner with Volvo again.
  17. Porsche next to Volvo https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/81Xm38OcvpL.jpg
  18. I find the BWE's speed build video much more interesting than the Porsche's speed build video. Am I the only one?
  19. To me, at least G2 introduces the waist-turning function, which is what I have been coveted in Bionicle since 2001. I was just hoping that next year they'd introduce waist-leaning too, but I'm satisfied with the waist-turning.
  20. I'm hoping for some steep discount in Black Friday or Cyber Monday. It's now available on S@H US for 300$ woohoo!
  21. It's only 255 EUR on amazon.de, gentlemen! https://www.amazon.de/LEGO-Technic-42056-Porsche-911/dp/B01CCT2ZHC/ref=pd_sim_21_3?ie=UTF8&dpID=51Igk%2Bjs0LL&dpSrc=sims&preST=_AC_UL160_SR160%2C160_&psc=1&refRID=2FYQCAC066C07RJS9PJW
  22. Can you share the link to that? I went to amazon.de and saw that the best deal was only 219.99 with free shipping. Maybe you posted in the wrong thread? I saw that the 42056 is 50 EUR off.
  23. I'm so tempted to order another 4 tyres to put on my 9398.
