  1. The funny thing is that this color vomit passed the management team. So it must intentional, for some unknown reasons. One does not simply understand TLG's logic anyway.
  2. @Saberwing40k While I agree with your assessment, I wonder where could the handpump be placed without making the vehicle look weird 8-wheel forest harvesters usually don't have a big column erected and sticking out in the rear body.
  3. It's the reflection of the #2 connector in front of it...
  4. @Jim In the last TC you couldn't get sponsored prizes from TLG so I thought TLG ended the sponsor policy.
  5. Is that a spare Chiron you have or is it sponsored
  6. Go to youtube, search for "Star Wars Imperial Hauler"
  7. Isnt it unusual when the boxes for other 2H sets have realistic backgrounds while the 42082 box only has a grey one.
  8. Because there hasn't been any forklift for you to own The last Technic forklift dates back to 2005, which is 13 years ago already.
  9. There's a fake disc brake !!!
  10. How 230 EUR for 42082 in Germany translates into 300 USD in US is so beyond my feeble comprehension.
  11. Behind the 20z gear HOG there's a small LBG wheel connected to a reddish brown axle with stop. I think that wheel is a switch for the Battery Box. And hidden partially right behind that LBG wheel are small pieces of blue hanging vertically. That must be the compressor.
  12. At the back of the forklift there seems to be a pair of panel 21 & 22 in Dark Blue. I'm on the fence about whether to buy a new 42079 or to bricklink the missing pieces. I've got a spare rack and holder from 42078 Mack, and a pair of 3x11 yellow panels already. And I wanna put them into use to free up storage space.
  13. My guess is that both the grey 3x11 panels are openable. The orange connectors are attached to the panels only. https://i0.wp.com/www.fbtb.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/IMG_5713.jpg?ssl=1 We can see that one connector is attached to the lower panel, and one is to the upper panel. Also, the upper panel (the one with the 02 sticker) is attached to the angle beams at the top axle holes only. So it's intended to be openable.
  14. Your part list lists 2 white 5x11 tapered panels, while the real model doesn't use them.
  15. It looks openable. There are two hinges on the left, made with this part
  16. There is even a yellow cup partially hidden behind the lime panel in the cabin. This is just too much. It's like Lego Friends, not Lego Technic. I do enjoy the little realistic details, but only the details that are related to the machine itself, not that kind of childish dollhouse Barbie play details!
  17. Amazon.uk says it's 5.87 kg. https://www.amazon.co.uk/LEGO-UK-42082-Rough-Terrain/dp/B0792RDN2Z
  18. It closely resembles the Ponsse Scorpion King.
  19. I'd prefer them over the 90 degree #6 connector. They look smoother and represent tubes / pipes more accurately.
  20. Time for a dedicated topic as well. Link for high res image: https://mega.nz/#!qDQh2aZC!9L0SMGXuq9L_1oSgaaj20bn-H47tcH2jS8gCeEgJlFM This is the ultimate color barf that TLG has managed to produce: - Lime - Green - White - Yellow - Black - DBG - Red - Blue - Medium Azure - Reddish Brown Discoveries: - If you zoom into the cabin you can see a water bottle with a silver cap - There is a 6L towball link bar under the front row of wheels.
  21. I think it is indeed true that the counterweight can slide back and forth. Look at the distance between the 20z gear knob and the 3x7 curve panel!
  22. There is another knob at the back. No idea what it is for. o.O So there are totally 5 knobs. 1 knob is a 20z gear, serving as a HOG steering. 3 12z-gear on the side, 1 12z-gear at the back.
