  1. M motor doesn't have that many holes probably because it doesn't vibrate as much. In many sets the M motor is connected only through the front holes, while the rear holes is left hanging (in 9397).
  2. Apparently my hands were quicker than my brain.
  3. No need for a special rim. Use normal rim and 3 black pins.
  4. I think they designed it like so to hide the pins on the rim and create a better, more realistic, appearance.
  5. The color for the interior is listed as Dark Tan (Sand Yellow on Brickset). It's the same color with that of the old type 5L axle with stop. 2x5 Panels in Dark Tan have already appeared in Star War figures Finn and Rey.
  6. Then add a forklift to the scale to tip it over to 2018
  7. 42056, because real Porsche's have red springs.
  8. I didnt say anything about 42030. I was talking about 42081 which is also a Volvo loader and its B model which is also a dump truck.
  9. But how did that happen? It's still the same movement sequence (expansion and compression) is it not
  10. The curious thing is that the battery box is limited to one way only. The battery box in 42053 is also limited the same way. Meanwhile, earlier sets with motorized pumps (8110, 42008, 42043) doesn't have this feature. I still don't understand why one rotation direction is preferable (or less) than the other.
  11. I'd say this year may be on a slightly higher grade than 2016. in 2016 we have Volvo Excavator, Volvo Loader, Claas, BWE, and Porsche. This year we have Mack Anthem, Mack LR, Volvo Loader, Volvo Dump Truck, RTCrane, and Chiron. In my view: RTC > BWE 2018 Volvo's > 2016 Volvo's Mack Anthem + Mack LR > Xerion Not to mention in 2018 there are more rare types of models. In 2018 we have Tractor Truck + Trailer (never seen for A model), Garbage Truck, Fork Lift, Forest Harvester. For 2016, the only rare things are BWE and 3 modes of steering. Tractors aren't very rare in Lego Technic IMO.
  12. In 2020 maybe we'll have a 6 wheeler super car with AWD and a central differential. .... wait we got that in 2017 already
  13. You should be the only one. Who would expect this set to have PF?
  14. Overall, I'd say 2018 is a good year for Lego Technic.
  15. At least, in terms of appearance, Uwe did a better job in my view.
  16. How about another pipe instead of printed tile
  17. Am I the only one who thinks that the grey pipe should be extended to represent the whole C curve on the side?
  18. Such a useful part, such a low amount in the set.
  19. @valenciaeric The FB page only has 3 pages of the part list. I know 1 page is missing.
  20. Imma put all the important pictures here for people to look at. No need to go to Lego Technic Singapore.
  21. @Didumos69 Where can I find the part list?
  22. More like job opening for the position of the person that gives the clearance
  23. 42043 route 8 hoses for 4 cylinders through the turntable with no problem.
  24. I find it weird that the front arch is close to the front wheel, but the rear ach isn't to the rear wheel.
  25. I echo the thought that L motor seem redundant. An M motor would have been enough. Maybe this set is intended to be a part pack, with a bunch of rare parts and newly colored parts. This thing doesn't even need a motor. Replace the cylinders with two large LA and one small LA on the grabber and it could still function the same.
