  1. I'm looking forward to the pdf instructions for this! Your simple supercar was a great build.
  2. I really like this build, and the stickers give it attitude! I like the stickers on the back bumper
  3. Thanks Nebulaire Thanks Victor, I see your Porsche is up on Rebrickable, looks good! (I don't have enough wheels to build it though) After the comment from agrof I had a look at the blaze cabrio instructions and wow! there's a lot of arrows . That would have taken a while to do. Thanks miguev. In retrospect I'm a bit embarrassed by the build of the Sports Car. The interior isn't locked down properly (same with the hood), and the base is too fragile when picked up from the side. This new version is closer to how I wanted it to be built. Thanks for building it though!
  4. Thanks for the comment! Certainly getting some interest for stripes, I might have to try it at a later date. I really wanted red rims at the beginning of the build, but I have limited parts (and money). :)
  5. Wow, that looks amazing... and those lights! Gorgeous
  6. Thanks! The chassis is version 2 of a sports car I made a while ago and this time I had a much better idea of how to put it together.
  7. Thanks for the comments. The car is now on rebrickable if anyone is interested. http://rebrickable.com/mocs/Chade/black-devil Stripes might work, but I'd want it over the back as well. That would be difficult. I hope that's 'good' interesting ☺
  8. Thanks nerdsforprez, it does look a bit like this car from the front.
  9. Wow, this one of the most original ideas for TC10. Looking forward to seeing it finished.
  10. Looks and performs great! 6 power puller wheels and buggy motors!? Sounds expensive :)
  11. Thanks for the comments everyone! With regards to colour, I personally dislike one colour tone throughout a build, but it just seemed to work with this car. I tried different colours but it didn't look as good. I thought about smaller lights but I needed them bigger to 'fill' the space a bit and to cover the LED lights (the LEDs are on an angle) What's Baracade? I looked it up on google but I couldn't find anything.
  12. Thanks everyone for the comments! As the pictures are doing nothing for this topic, I whipped up a video! (see first post) I thought the wheels looked a bit small too, but it's the right size. I think it's because the tyres are thicker than they should be.
  13. Here's my latest creation, and yes it's another sports car. Yay! I wanted to have another go at building a small RC Sports Car, but this time loosely based around a 2009 corvette. This car is wide and low so I was expecting it to be a challenge. I also wanted to use some of the ideas from my other models, such as the L motor setup in the Mini Truck. Features - 2x L motors at 1:3 - 1x Servo - functional doors, boot & hood - battery access under dashboard - working front lights - 36Lx17Wx10H (chassis, in studs) - 804g Like the mini truck, the two L motors make this car move! The extra width seems to give it some extra traction as well. Design wise it isn't perfect, but I did the best with what I had available. Hope you like it. EDIT: Video is up!
  14. Sounds like a good idea. Unfortunately I don't think I have the experience to pull that off.
  15. Can't wait to see the end product of this model. Great idea making a V8 Supercar.
  16. Highly original! Great entry
  17. Thanks for the comments SevenStuds. I never thought about the seat, I tend to go for different colours for the interior so there's contrast. I'm not sure what it would look like with octan colours (unfortunately it's disassembled so I can't check). Thanks desert752, though I think it's a bit heavy to drift properly :)
  18. What a beast! I really like the finished version. It's a little bit 'busy' (I don't think it's quite messy) in the front part, but I understand how difficult it is with limited pieces. The back has a nice flow to it, and I like the colour. Great job!
  19. This MOC is truly beautiful! Great job.
  20. Video is now complete (see first post)
  21. My first reaction to this car was Wow! Clean lines and it just looks really fast and mean.
  22. I thought I might as well show my humble working place. I sit on the couch with my wife and watch TV while I build. With less than 10k parts I don't need much room.
  23. Thanks Nalyd, it didn't even occur to me that it's Octan colours, I was just using what I had available. Ahh, okay then. Are you saying that the propeller is too high/big? There's many different types of airboats with different sized propellers (from what I've googled). I went with a larger sized propeller. Thanks arshia, however the boat is steered with the rear wheels and driven by the front wheels. Sorry if I wasn't clear. I really need a video :)
  24. I never thought it was possible to make an air propelled boat with just lego parts. Great job. I love the video too, it's very relaxing.
  25. Thanks kamal, by chibi do you mean too short? Thanks pyro Thanks, I had to fiddle a bit with the bodywork so I could access the battery easily. Once the servo is running again I'll give it a go. I'm hoping the model isn't too heavy. I thought about different ways of doing the steering (like using a small turntable), but I came back to a standard steering mechanism at the back as it connected easily to the flaps. I know the steering isn't very realistic.
