I love the colour scheme! Orange on blue and silver.. fantastic. Gali is supposed to be female, no? Nevertheless, it has very nice silver and orange parts, and the combo model is awesome.

So we have 4 15USD toas this year.. nice. There's the difference in mechanism between this and the earth one too? Nice..
-
Another awesome review.. Umarak's dark tan horns makes my personal to get list. Good range of ccbs parts as well. So glad we got 1 of the previous year's skull torso, breaks the monotony.

Great use of ball joints!

Umarak's shoulder armour and body shells was so shiny in the pictures, but it looks real dark in person.

Beautiful photos as always. Didn't know you were an army builder, nice. -
I'm liking the 2016 sets already.. those fins? They'll look good on a small fan.

Original Bionicle vs CCBS discussion
santaends replied to MakutaOfWar's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Can you pm or post some that are worse? In the spirit of learbing and broadening horizons.. :) -
Don't really have a backlog. All the unbuilt sets are either for long term hold, or future reviews once I earn bronze and silver on reviewer's academy. My non fiction books however.. is a different thing. So many backlog, I still keep borrowing from the library! ..My word.. You're the first person who shares the exact same taste as me. My 2 loves, Creator expert and LOTR/ Hobbit.

Review 8317-1 Allegra and 8313 Nick Bluetooth Deluxe
santaends replied to xboxtravis7992's topic in LEGO Action Figures
Wow.. always thought Galidor was an action figure unrelated to LEGO parts. Turns out it has old technic rotation joints too. Everything comes together now.. nice weird combinations. Do the ball joints on the knee and rotator cuff work with CCBS? Nice review, 10/10 as well! -
LEGO Early Discontinuation?
santaends replied to Chilly_Productions's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I have the same feeling too. Lower stock level but more runs. At least for the big exclusives. We only get around 2 sets of older modulars per restock.. stock levels are seriously low and scalpers are thriving. -

Nice chainsaw topping! Good parts use. You could probably hang some baubles.. friends handbags haha. Did you get the stems from PAB?
-
Inspired.. nice roof. I like the medium dark flesh and reddish brown tiles.. what head is that? Looks rare.
-
Heated is good.. better than getting froze over :P Nice use of technic.

Very classy.. love the use of oxidised grey bricks with new ones. Intentional or not, it looks good!

I enjoyed 12 too. Very historic theme indeed. My favourite is the pig.. must be a take on the roast pork eaten in medieval feasts. The apple is a proof!

60050 - style passenger railroad station MOD
santaends replied to Murdoch17's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I like the take on the railings at the sides, simple and effective. They missed that on the original 60050. I suppose the round dome in the centre is meant to be a clock? -
This, my friend. But I still feel Creator type builds expresses civilian settings better from the bigger array of parts. City is mostly big detailed pieces.
-
Enjoyed it as always! Interesting technique with the hinges and the 1 x 1 round plate with hole.. and that good texture difference between the bottom with SNOT and top with tiling. Definitely better than the original Burj, which was a 1 x 1 round brick parts pack.

Is that metallic silver? :O Good lord, that looks so sweet. Reminds me of robocop.
