  1. There's a picture of the World Map floating arround. Weirdly, the landmasses are monochrome while the oceans are coloured according to diverging tectonic plates (?). The map projection seems like a Miller Cylindrical Projection. Also, 11695 pieces! The Colosseum didn't last long as the largest set.
  2. A better picture is available at Brickset, with a review comming on Tuesday. Honestly, I like it.
  3. Not only you. Somehow it seems weird that a picture of a set would leak out only for the final set to be completely different (apart from having the same wheels and representing the same family of vehicles). Moreover, a small channel fabricating information and posting it without sources to gain attention seems like a trivially easy thing to imagine. Now, if only one of those four pictures or something resembling them surfaced on some random social media or got messaged to a trusted member of the community...
  4. TLC has made multiple space shuttles in the past (including one D2C), so it's not like they should be too surprised.
  5. Full hull I reckon, like the Maersk. Not only would it look more complete, it would also give the opportunity of extra internal and external details such as screws, boilers and engines. BTW, I found this interesting article about the propulsion system of the Titanic: http://www.titanicology.com/Titanica/TitanicsPrimeMover.htm
  6. Very few ships are as iconic or recognizable to the general public as the Titanic. Having a very well-known movie take place in the ship probably helps with that.
  7. This begs the question: why can't you make a new account just for Ideas?
  8. Or maybe this set is yet another example of marketingspeak at work.
  9. Wouldn't it be 6x4 or 6x6 then? Also, does it have a box of some kind in the back? Does it have two axis of movement in the blade and ripper? Does it have a ripper at all?
  10. I don't think so. From TLG's perspective, having multiple projects with the same concept doesn't hurt; if anything, it gives them extra information on how the concept performs with slightly different builds, marketing strategies, etc, which can only be good for them. Also, they're not going to close the door to any possibly good project just because there's a number of mediocre submissions with the same concept.
  11. I think it could be an SLS rocket, given its first flight is scheduled for November 2021 (plus delays) and that it could have a novelty factor.
  12. That's just Marketing-speak for HOG steering, the video shows a conventional steering system.
  13. They really look printed: compare them to the Rubicon label:
  14. I think I found what the B-model represents:
  15. The B-model: From: https://www.instagram.com/p/CH2ZLKlJ-gO/
  16. I'm usually not into sets of this pricepoint, but that colour sure is striking. It's Dark Turquoise, right?
  17. TLG doesn't need to justify Price per Part since that's a metric used solely by AFOLs. And like @Gumalca said, this particular set has electronic parts which cost more to produce than normal parts.
  18. "Rubicon" is jut a trim level for the Jeep Wrangler series, the most expensive and off-road capable (discounting limited editions). While there is a military variant of the Wrangler (Jeep J8), very few of those have been produced compared to civillian variants.
  19. Considering that 10276 is already set to become the largest set ever, adding even more parts to complete its walls is probably not an option. IIRC, the Colosseum also used to be covered in white marble, so the colour would be inaccurate anyways.
  20. The Jeep Renegade has the same plattform as this car According to Wikipedia, the Wrangler still uses solid axles. Hope TLG manages to put them in the set.
  21. According to Stonewars.de: This doesn't seem good .
  22. Most themes already have leaked pictures out, and yet we still don't have any information on Architecture for 2021. Seems like there won't be any new Architecture releases for the first half of 2021.
  23. Interestingly, there's a black box with a "confidential" watermark under the Senna, probably for the Ferrari since it's the only set we haven't seen. Could this mean that it represents an unreleased Ferrari model?
