  1. Thanks for the confirmation WBD. I know you roleplay your character really well and I look forward to see what you do as a Quest Master. I'm assuming from your take on things in the QM Lounge thread that the pet peeve is the availability of high powered/elemental weapons. I think we may lose our weapons or they may be temporarily depowered or something similar in order to make it easier to balance the game. It's what I'm thinking of doing in my Quest at any rate.
  2. It was certainly a bit of a motley crew, Tarn though as he finished his meal in preparation for the Quest. He realised there were no magic users in the party and thought again about Ellaria, her knowledge and magical ability had been incredibly useful in the last Quest. There was also the mage... what was his name? Always digging. Amorith, was it? A useful chap to have around in any case. He hoped that he was doing well on the Quest involving the trespassers and not digging up too much of the scenery.
  3. Tarn isn't played by Masked Builder but by me. I am assuming he has been picked instead of Alexis but please let me know if this is not the case.
  4. Tarn went across to the Quest Board and was delighted to see his name on Quest#11, however he was sad that none of his friends had made it in with him. He saw that the sly Rogue with the chicken was Party Leader. "This will be interesting!" he thought to himself.
  5. Good man! Lead from the front, you jumped off a balcony fearlessly before!
  6. You are confusing Battle Order (the order in which the party attacks) with the row you attack from. I don't mean that Barbarians should always be the first to attack in the Battle Order. That is up to the Party Leaders. But you can control which Row you fight from.
  7. They started at level 1 just like you. Everyone starts at level 1. My point is, you shouldn't fear the possibility of death as a Barbarian. You should only be thinking of getting stuck into the battle.
  8. It's not about how many points you have or they have Or how many enemies you are facing - it's how you approach the battle. A Barbarian should always lead from the front. Look at Tesni, look at Eric. They wouldn't consider for a split second fighting from the back row. From the front row you do the most damage so that's where you should be. It's a mindset. The Barbarian way.
  9. Oh my, Alf - There's a Barbarian who wants to fight from the back row so he'll take half the damage if hit! If that was the case, you should have played a Ranger and been useful! Sheesh.
  10. "I am very excited Alexis. I know that several of our Questmates from Quest#5 have signed up so it would be great if we were all together again!"
  11. "Feel free, Deputy Scott. As you can see, I have nothing to hide. With the adultery revelation, I do agree that searching the Jordan and Montogomery houses would be of most benefit next. As I said before - love and lust can be very destructive emotions, there are many plays and films that have this concept as a central premise."
  12. "I'm afraid I don't know why the jewel has been knocked off. I normally am very careful around such artifacts as you can imagine."
  13. Tarn smiled. "Well, I might not be the best person to ask as I was raised in a monastery. I came of age and saught out Heroica Hall so that I could start to make a difference. Now you are here, so you have made that decision too. It will all stem from that, you will see."
  14. You mean, shine the Grogall-signal?
  15. Sorry Hinckley, I must've missed that whole sequence. It's superb! I think you do an absolutely amazing job with your characters and sets. I've participated in Fabuland Housewives and recently watched Baritones 3 and this, and it's always top quality.
  16. Tarn follows Alexis's lead and signs up for Quest#12. He then looks straight through dak as if he wasn't there. He missed Tesni... and, he realised with a shock, he missed Ellaria too. "Hi, fellow," he says, coming out of his reverie and finally noticing Dak.
  17. Your role PM will state if you have a night action or not.
  18. Scouty, did you make that picture or did Hinck do it? It's awesome! I take it you've given up voting for him and are taking a more direct method?
  19. "I did start with the fortune I inherited from my parents, yes. I have merely been able to add to it using my knowledge of banking and also my shrewd eye when it comes to the arts. Let us not forget who has been behind the campaign to get Lexington a library. I woudl like everyone to share in the wonders of history and art." He turned to Officer Jackson. "There will be no shaking of any of these artifacts! Please, Deputy Scott, make sure your colleague does not do that!" Winston sat down, red faced and slightly out of breath. He was not a young man anymore and the strain of having his house investigaed appeared to be telling on him.
  20. Winston was looking increasingly nervous. This wasn't down to being a murder suspect though, more that his friends and acquaintences were upstairs looking over his collection. "Please be careful!" he said, gratified to see that Deputy Scott was being just that. His estimation of her went up. "As for how I am able to afford it, well, I used to be an investment banker so learned a thing or two. And please don't upset my main source for upcoming artefacts." He paused, before looking at Sarah Jordan. "I'm afraid I agree with the others. If this letter could be important for this investigation it is imperative that we see it. Everyone else has been subjected to having property searched."
  21. That Y-Wing is awesome, and I love the yellow droid In fact, all the figures in it are good. This set is my only definite buy of the wave, a shame it's an exclusive. Do we know who for yet?
  22. "Oh that's a good choice as it will be investigating a lead and both Deputy Scott and Officer Jackson's residences have been searched. I know you won't find any evidence but I do have some lovely pieces from all over the world that I would be delighted to show you all."
  23. "I know you guys only have my word to go on and that isn't enough. You are more than welcome to search my residence, but I implore you to be careful around my precious artifacts!"
  24. Winston understood why he was being picked out, he did fit the profile. However, since yesterday he had been suspicious of Officer Jackson and decided to tell the group why. "Our investigations have focused on the Police in Lexington as we believed Deputy Scott had a motive, having an affair and possible career advancement. Now we searched her place and found no evidence. Subsequently her place was torched while she was inside it. I believe this eliminates her from the suspects along with the information from Sue. Now, we also know Officer Hutch's bike was damaged. This could suggest a vendetta against the Police. Who better to strike at the police than a Police Officer? Once it was revealed that Officer Jackson had brown hair I really thought he could be our culprit. I know that it looks bad coming from me when I am also a suspect but there has been nothing else pointing to me except the man with brown hair thing. I assure each and every one of you that I am not a killer."
  25. "To future quests and future conquests!" said Tarn, taking a huge chug of his ale. He hoped he would be selected for Quest 11.
