  1. I do love these decisions at the end of the Quests. Always allows great character interaction and development. As Zeph says, it's good to see Maurice stick to his guns against Eric and Hybros. Also the flying ship and the cabin pics all looked fantastic, Sandy. Great job there.
  2. Now this is interesting. I come up with Cheiko as a Scum possibility, and what do you know, she only goes and votes for me straightaway. A bit suspicious, I'm sure you'll all agree. Now her points against me are all pretty much based on me being quiet, which is indeed the case. I haven't been as active as some here but there are several of the family who have contributed far less, and some of those are rightly either under suspicion or being voted for already. My accusation was based on some logic and reading of others, but she has not tried to refute any of it. Curious again. In order not to split the voting too much at this early stage, I shall not dignify Cheiko's vote against me with a retaliatory one. I would also like to see what Cherry Blossom says to being the leading vote candidate so far and shall vote for her accordingly. Vote: Cherry Blossom (Whitefang)
  3. Sorry to hear that, Scorpiox. As others have said, RL must come first.
  4. As usual, Tarn was slightly baffled by gems and their uses, but he thought De'kra's idea was sound. "Mr Swindle, do you want the ruby? We should also head back to the intersection and go right if that is agreeable to those here present."
  5. There aren't that many 'muscly' actresses around to capture Tesni's imposingness. I would suggest Jessica Biel from a few years ago, who played Abigail Whistler in Blade: Trinity. As for Tarn, any number of no-name reasonably handsome actors would do. He's the one you skimp on to allow Russell Crowe or Geoffrey Rush to sign on to the Heroica film
  6. Good to see our fearless Norio leading the way. I would like to submit a name, admittedly not based on much, but as something to discuss. When Yakuza Icharou (Tammo) was flailing around in a totally Scummy way during Day Two, they voted for two names. The second was Momoe, who was just proven as Secret Agent. So maybe, just maybe, there is something in their first vote: Chieko. The Secret Agent Blocker on Day Three also crossed swords with Chieko, claiming they were the Mutineer Killer and we know there is no love lost between the Mutineer and Secret Agent factions. I think it isn't a great lead but one worthy of more discussion.
  7. It was looking pretty good for a while there, and then two Yakuza deaths. Presumably it was an unlucky chain of events which occurred here, I'm not up 100% on some of the possibilities our family have.
  8. Tarn watches the two from a distance, hoping that nothing will go wrong.
  9. "Halt, fellow adventurers. Something shines its light upon us even in this dark mine. De'kra, Guts, go take a look." Tarn though that getting the two tool-up heroes to work together would help with the barely-disguised hostility that had spilled over earlier.
  10. "Agreed, let's go right at the previous intersection."
  11. I am trying to add a bit of flavour to Tarn's speech patterns; after reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy recently and also watching the Spartacus series, I am just trying to give him a bit more of an olden time warrior feel.
  12. Tarn nodded at the smaller Rogue. "That's right, my first Quest for Heroica was in a cave system, although not as big as this mine. The Titaan mountains have long been famed for their mines. I'm sure Guts here is going to point out the hazardous conditions to our employer when we return. He's been grumbling about it ever since we got here."
  13. Tarn hadn't realised that he had not formally introduced himself to the Shade. "Some party leader!" he thought to himself. "No need for apologies, De'kra. You and I are very different, but I believe you to be a fine Adventurer to have on this Quest. My name is Tarn."
  14. Tarn stood between Guts and De'kra. He may not understand De'kra most of the time, and doesn't know where he came from, but he feels Guts is well out of order here. "Stay your tongue, Guts, or I will stay it for you. This bickering does us no good. Let us speak no more of demons and destroyed worlds, and focus on the present." He pushes the older man towards the left hand path.
  15. "Leave him alone, Guts. He's a queer fellow alright, but certainly stouthearted."
  16. Well, it gives me a nice chance to flesh out Tarn as well, he's been pretty boring so far!
  17. "Wait, are you saying that you know that these... different versions of events exist? Surely that cannot be. The Gods themselves would never allow such a thing, ere we all find ourselves seized upon by madness." Tarn stared at the Shade, who had retreated to the shadows once more. He had finally worked out that the Gods he had been taught about all his life may not actually be De'kra's Gods, and the thought both shocked and alarmed him.
  18. Tarn looked across at Dak. Now he was having another outburst, similar to his meltdown earlier! This mine must really be affecting people's psyche. "Dak, are you alright?"
  19. Tanma, I love the small bits of character building you add in. Tarn hasn't really interacted with De'kra much prior to (or even in) this Quest, so I am enjoying playing him as slightly discomforted by the "unusualness" of the Rogue.
  20. As Emi said, you are the best candidate to lynch tonight, not just because of teh Scum reading from the investigator, but also the fact that we can also learn from the result of your alignment if you are in fact a vanilla Yakuza. We would be able to put pressure on other people then and root out the evil within our midst.
  21. Tarn frowned again as he tried to parse De'kra's language. This time it wasn't just the words, but the concepts behind them, that Tarn struggled with. "Sorry, De'kra... I've never heard of anything like that. Whatever happens, happens. It is the will of the Gods, and even they cannot create two versions of the same event. Although I will ask Rystael the next time I am back in my village. My Master is far wiser than me."
  22. Tarn had just said the words "We will go left!", when he saw the shade stumble and immediately went to help his team-mate up. He wasn't really sure what was actually under his cloak but he set the smaller figure upright and held his shoulders. "De'kra, are you OK?"
  23. I think the Black Ninja must be with the Mutineers, we don't even know if the second faction have a killer, as the White Ninja is evidently the Vigilante. I guess as Yakuza we must stop both the Mutineers and the Secret Agents, Great Grandfather Lloyd says as much. So although we didn't get a Mutineer, the groundwork was laid to get rid of someone who wasn't Yakuza. At this point it seems Norio is honourable and he must be confident accusing Hiroki outright. I can't see Hiroki talking his way out of this, but the day is young.
