  1. LDD TRICK #8 Sub-parts quick disassemble / change length: Using flex tool bug, no need to edit LXFML text file. Edit: 1st step: If necessary, build some rotation helper connected to sub-part(s) which will be "rotate" apart together. 2nd step: Use flex tool to click once on a sub-part which you will let it stay still while "rotate" apart. 3rd step: Then use hinge tool to rotate apart another sub-part(s). Before rotate with hinge tool, you may need to click more than once to until the appropiate green arrows of hinge tool show up. For example: It is super easy to take apart minifig's hand. Just click with flex tool on the hand, then rotate(hinge) the arm.
  2. Ok, this method is crazy. :-P It is quite challenge to find perfect angle in this case. The delta X is OK 7 studs(=5.6 cm), but the delta Z is not standard. So have to check LXFML text file to find them, then copy and paste in the calculator to find arc-Tan angle. 9. There is a not so good way to solve all bricks collision bugs: Edit XLFML to move collision bricks in place then render with LDD2PovRay. LDD2Povray always ignore all bricks's collision. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=79010entry1565149 ww by Nachapon S., on Flickr
  10. Thanks Zblj. Maybe can simulate this bug in the new version by edit the XLFML.

  18. LDD TRICK #5: View model in stereo 3D cross eye. (cross eye only, parallel eyes NOT working!) No need 3D glasses. Just some practice. Left eye look at right minifig. Right eye look at left minifig. When you see three minifigs, the middle one become 3D. edit: Please use full screen, zoom in models and look at them close enough. If not may become not working: stereo 3D parallel eyes.
  19. Thanks, I'am glad you guys like it. This trick turn brick bug to feature. The bug that plate with holder will not clip onto perfect center of the 1x2 plate with stick. There are about 0.01cm (1/80 stud) off-center. Can use the bug to build a template for very fine move of bricks.

LDD Trick #3 Bend flex part to any radious LDD Trick #4 Precise move pieces for about 1/80 stud every times (0.01000016927719116 cm). -Place a half bush in the very center of an axle.[/size] -Precisely move any bricks to solves most of LDD collision errors (force peak/fine tune LDD-allowed collision). This trick is almost as accurate as LXFML edit trick, but easier.

  24. Can not be done by normal method because the minimun move in LDD is 1/10 stud = 0.8cm / 10 = 0.08cm, but this case have to move 1/20 stud = 0.04cm. Use LXFML edit trick to add or minus Y value of the bush by 0.04. LXFML edit trick: http://www.eurobrick...0 canter by Nachapon S., on Flickr
