  1. Finally, can do this. LEGO LDD minifig pose by lxf edit trick 2 by bbqqq1, on Flickr
  2. Another sample of lxf edit trick. Put un used sub-parts out of the scene then render with LDD2PovRay. lxf edit trick1 by bbqqq1, on Flickr DKXlFX by bbqqq1, on Flickr
  3. Interesting MOC. Can use scientific calculator to find perfect angles of piston for any degree. This is a 45 degree sample.
  4. Thanks, Superkalle. There is another trick for the last rendering that I will post later. It is a tricks to make minifig's hand to hold a plate or tile (very quick & work with all arm/hand poses). I tried to completly remove tops of the turntables but not success yet. So just put them floating high above. Then use same trick as decors built sail, edit materials="999" so they will not shown in LDD.
  5. There are four designIDs mean have four sub-parts for this part assembly. materials="21" mean red color sub-parts. materials="26" mean black color sub-parts. Three long number mean part positon coordinate X,Z,-Y in centimeter unit. ie: -4.4000000953674316, 0.40000000596046448, 1.2000000476837158 So we can compress this linear actuator 1 CM by two ways. +1 to both X of red color sub-parts or... -1 to both X of black color sub-parts. Then save the .xlfml and open it in LDD to see the change. FYI: 1stud=0.8 cm, 1brick_height= 0.96 cm materials="21,0 mean multi-colors part. decoration="0" mean decoratable part. With this trick for example you can... - Change the length of all actuator parts. - Precisely move any bricks to solves most of LDD collision errors (force peak/fine tune LDD-allowed collision). - Do the same as Youtube video above. - Disassemble parts like minfig's arm/hand/leg to make special MOC. - Disassemble turn table(can remove all errors of 10189 Taj Mahal). - Correct all CMF's minifig head height. 7. <p> LXF: Eleven 61927 linear actuators with half stud in steps. (0.4 cm) http://www.brickshel...ar_actuator.lxf To edit parts or assembly sub-parts cordinate: In LDD extended mode place a 61927 linear actuator . Change two extendable sub-parts to black color. (real brick metal parts and its head) Save LXF file. Open the LXF with winrar or winzip. Extract the ???.xlfml Edit the ???.xlfml You should see text like below post
  8. I see, deleted already. Tricks below made by to edit the lxf files only. So they should be ok right? (Can be open correctly by any one.) Change materials value to 999(Does not exist), then LDD show only decors but not to show bricks. It is pity that the sail shown in one side only. 11. Thanks for sharing the code, Superkalle! Hope this can save time for people who want to play with hidden decors) It should be more useful if input and organize them in an Excel spread sheet and LDD Manager. Excel: Can sort/ filter by brick type/CMF series/ set number/theme etc for quick find the code we need. LDD Manager: Can batch apply each decals to select brciks at once. Then chang brick colors in LDD/ render with LDD2POVRay etc. It would be great if Aanchir can apply all of them (1,105 decors) to correct bricks. 12. Is there a complete list of decors id of the new LDD 4.3.6? Is there a way to quick find decor id of a decor we want? I tried to make a LDD decor array with full of 1x1 tiles (WIP), base on nemo's list(page 1) + CMF 1-9, which position (coordinate) can tell their id. But this one take time to complete. Any easier way? LDD manager can help? Please advice. WIP LDD decors array. position can tell you 5 digits decor id. by Nachapon S., on Flickr
  13. Thanks guys, I'm trying to share the custom controller. The LDD Air Keyboard was cloned from "full keyboard" default layout. I upload all LDD icon pics to "flickr set" at once. Then use Air Keyboard's browse key pics form internet function to to apply them to new defind keys. In case I can't find a way to share the custom controller, at least you can use resized icon pics here: Finger touch and hold on original size (100x100 pixel) icon pic. http://www.flickr.co...s/nachapon/sets http://www.flickr.com/photos/nachapon/sets/72157633018473109/
  14. Thank you, Superkalle. I can't render that without the file you have shared. Thanks for quick reply. You are right, it's solved by regenerating includes (uncheck Don't generate includes).
  15. @'hrontos', thanks you very much for update LDD2PovRay to version 1.2.10.But I still have to remove three 6 digits parts 600815, 601607 and 600880 to render CMF 1-9 without error. Solved by regenerating includes (uncheck Don't generate includes) as 'hrontos' suggested. 18. Thank you very much! I can't render them all with LDD2Povray 1.2.9. Maybe have to wait for next update. LEGO CMF 1-9 from LDD Team _by Superkalle by Nachapon S., on Flickr
  19. Touch keyboard of windows 8 also works well, but smaller view port. On-screen keyboard like on windows 7 didn't work. Bricks goes off screen when turning. Capture by Nachapon S., on Flickr[/b][/s]
  20. @Calabar, You are right that is an iconia w tablet. The good of Strokesplus is not limited to only 8 flicks. So you can add as many gestures as you want. In the video above you can see custom gestures for 180 degree turn brick in all four directions, and all icon hotkey shortcut. The bad of Strokesplus is that gestures made by mouse right-click then draw. This requires a bit extra time waiting for the press-and-hold to activate the right click. Win7 fast flicks is better. For easy compare, below is windows7 custom Flicks.
  21. No more finger Flicks (touch gestures) feature in Windows 8. The LDD Windows 8 tablet PC solution so far is to use Strokesplus. www.strokesplus.com
  22. Good found and nice rendering! Could you please share a LDD file with all new found decoratable parts? So we can use it as a template.
  23. Just a few sample of 2 sided usage and combined new parts. 2 new parts become tons of new parts. Please vote lego.cuusoo.com_ideas_view_2750 by Nachapon S., on Flickr
