  6. I just made some 3D stereo (parallel & cross eye) renderings of 75059 sandcrawler here. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=94690entry1886132
  7. @Bricksandparts, You are welcome! Stereo 3D, Elog s LXF Lego LD75059 sandcrawler, Lego stereo 3D. Center for left eye, Left/Right for right eye. So please use center+right for parallel eye viewing, or use center+left for cross eye viewing.LDD2povray rendering. Please search google if you don't know how to parallel/cross your eyes. :-) It will not show up realistic/correct 3D image if you use wrong eyed method.(ie: Use cross eyed on parallel pair.) For best result, please download full size pic from flickr, Original pixels. Zoom out/sit back for smaller pics for parallel eye (more comfortable but smaller view). Use full screen for cross eye (not so comfortable but get bigger view). This kind of 3D pictures look best on screen with high resolution & high DPI. ie: ipad mini 2 with retina display @ native resolution. 8. Amazing as always  ! You may join the team for next Lego movie. Are you interested in to render some extreme rare sets that there is no photo availible at all on internet? So all of us can see how they look like exactly. That will be real useful of photoreal LEGO Rendering. Because it is almost impossible to take their real photos with real camera. 4000001 Moulding Machines -just a few real set photos 4000008 Villy Thomson Truck [LEGO Inside Tour, 2013] -just a few brickling copy set photos 4000012 Piper Airplane -no photo at all, only box art
  9. Thanks for your questions. I am not sure does povray renderer support GPU accelerated ray tracing or not, and don't know how to enable it. So I always switch to basic intel HD 4000 graphics while render. Most of my renderings include the 4000x2000 pixels spherical panorama renderings took less than 10 minutes with i7 CPU laptop. Just try to get rid of four factors that will take long render time. 1) Large or overlaping transparent parts. 2) HQ radiosity. 3) Bevels. 4) Focal blur.

  12. Your renderings are more realistic than TLG's product renderings. TLG's product renderings (with Maya?) are too perfect. Only the accuracy of brick geometry that we have no chance to beat TLG. Because seems like they use actual bricks dimensions used for making plastic moulds for rendering, too. For example, LDD's minifig arm is better than LDraw's. I suggest adding more roughness on all the slope bricks (roof tiles). Did you remake all the decals to vector format? They look very sharp. virtualrepublic 's Photoreal LEGO Rendering by Nachapon S., on Flickr
  13. Quite a long time that I didn't add new trick. This #12 basically is a continuous angle clone technique, combine with many other useful tricks. The input angles are -9.75 and -19.5 degree. A walk in the park... by N-11 Ordo, on Flickr A walk in the park... by N-11 Ordo, on Flickr
  14. Amazing work! Looking forward to see more. My suggestions: Add rough surface on slope pieces. Add 0.2 mm typical horizontal brick gaps. Add imperfections in some studs and Lego logo.
