4563 Load and Haul Instructions Needed
LEGO Guy Bri replied to Chief Justice Lego's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thank you for the info! Makes me want to find mine to see which part I have... Do you know when they changed the mould from one to the other? -
It looks like the 10027 Train Engine Shed

Welcome to EB. I was born in Ohio, live in WV, but I frequent family there.

Thats really neat S and C! Instantly recognizable, I love the bomber grunts! Great job.

If this train is anything like the one in the movie, I may have to get one! Can't wait to see it.

4563 Load and Haul Instructions Needed

I'm afraid I don't fully understand the difference... I bought this set used earlier this year and built it with no problem. I'd like to better understand what the difference between the two. -
MOC - Elders Merchandise & Real Estate Office
LEGO Guy Bri replied to lightningtiger's topic in LEGO Town
What about a gun shop? For protection of livestock and such, it being a country town and everything... Or a small radio station? -
What a coincidence, mine is next week too! Though I'm not married, nor do I ask for LEGO from the fam, I am planning on 2 Maersks from Amazon and the rest of the parts needed to complete my Observation Car and B-Unit for my Santa Fe. Normally I'd have more to show, but parts for those two cars are so d**n expensive now!

I too mix old and new bricks, with the exception of the greys, bleys, and if there is a striking difference in other colors. Unfortunately all of my bulk bricks from childhood are either made into MOCs, additions to sets, or have since been sorted with Bricklink orders. All of my open new and used sets are still built, so there will be no mixing of bricks that way. The rest are still MISB. I am OCD about my LEGO, but for some reason this never really bothered me. Since all of my sets, that I'm original owner to, are from the early/mid 90's, they differ from new bricks very little. Had I owned larger stockpiles of bricks from previous decades, I probably would have sorted by time, as well as, color/type.

Clever MOC greg3. I had no clue this was a way to get these thing airborne. I thought they were always towed. I may have to borrow this concept.

Excellent build PbN. The exterior is very nice, I like the shutters you've built. Haven't seen that before. The interior is very nice as well, especially the attention to the tile floors! Great job!

Very nice signal box eurotrash. Electricsteam is right about the variety of the reddish brown bricks. I like the train too, great job.

Here, take mine...

Nice set of trucks sneff. I've always been a fan of road trains, though I don't think I'll ever build one.

That is a fantastic layout legopapa! So much to look at, I'm especially fond of the tower. I like the color built in offsetting the gray. Great work here.
-
Very cool diorama Julandrius! Very realistic, it reminds me of a something out of Halo 3: ODST... Either way the carnage is very detailed. Well done!
-
Another Fifth Element MOC! Great work recreating on of my favorite scenes from the movie Pepa Quin. Now we just need someone to build Zorg's office
-
That is too cool exis! I love this movie, probably seen it 10 times, and you represented it very well... Great job!

Why LEGO is the best company in the world
LEGO Guy Bri replied to eiker86's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Yeah it is actually at the bottom of the Gen. Discussion and News page 1, soon to be top of page 2... Great story and video -

Those are some very impressive MOCs ShayDeGai. I'd be proud too! I reckon 2012 was a good year for me. I wanted to spend more conservatively this year and successfully quit buying classic town sets, even if it was a good deal. Roughly spending almost $3k less compared to last year... and who knows how much more in not having to buy those large under-bed storage totes. I still have a handful of the larger sets that I still would like to buy. Good news is they will be around a while. MOCcing was ok, this year. I didn't build as much as I'd like to, but space and storage is still the biggest issue. That said, the remaining space, outside the totes, will be used for new sets. Looking forward to the new year I will be focusing more on work, so I have a feeling my MOCing will dwindle. Plus a new GTA will be out, pretty much the only reason I have a game console, at all . Spending less is also a goal after going a bit crazy the first 2 1/2 years after returning to LEGO
